Please help, Researching a bl novel whose title was forgotten

Hi! I remember a long time ago reading about a world hopping novel, but I only remember the one of the arc (which was the first arc I’m pretty sure.) (and it’s making me crazy because I can’t find it)

So the story goes where MC got transmigrated as a crown prince in the first world and need to make the one of the character fall in love with him. ( I don’t remember the mission clearly but I think it was that. Also this character is not the ML and I think he was the general or something like that). But the person he needs to raise affection for hates him and is not only loyal to his half brother and also has some feelings for him.

But the more MC continues his mission and treats his half brother good because the original crown prince didn’t treat him well, it eases affection from the general. And the MC’s half brother is found out later that he is not related by blood. There was also a specific scene where both general and MC were on a boat and MC was telling poetry (thanks to system giving him poetry stuff to gain more points of love?) to general and telling he didn’t wish to be a crown prince and stuff.

Later MC’s brother not related by blood starts to develop some feeling toward MC. And then later on there was a whole war between the general and half (not related by blood) brother about MC. And MC who completed the mission find the perfect moment to die which is when he protects one of the two of an arrow and dies.



please help me find it, I just want to know if I didn’t dream about this novel or just mixed up some other novels.
