This might be coming a bit late depending on what part of the world you are from, but a happy Eid Mubarak to all my Muslim nuffians! This eid is difference in a sense that you will be required to adjust your day according to the current circumstances. Just be sure to abide by the SOPS enforced by your government to protect yourself and your loved ones. For those of you who have Muslim friends and are unsure of how to play your part as their friend, just a simple Eid Mubarak would do. Trust me. With that said, I wish you and your family members happiness, peace and prosperity on this blessed occasion! PS: What is Eid-Al-Adha, you ask? Spoiler: Answer Eid al-Adha is the last of the two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide each year, and considered the holier of the two. It honours the willingness of Ibrahim/Abraham to sacrifice his son Ismael as an act of obedience to God's command. But, before Ibrahim/Abraham could sacrifice his son, God provided a lamb to sacrifice instead
Just don't overdo it, buddy. Hope the next one turns out better for you, then! That's quite faithful of you to recite the takbir.
Not necessarily, but yes. A goat can be sacrificed. Though you might be disturbed by this, but let me tell you that quite a few Muslims throughout the world (in New Zealand, for example) stun the animal before sacrificing it, so as to prevent it from feeling any sort of pain. Btw, that's a pretty neat avi you have there. Did you sketch it yourself? That's really nice of you!
Ahh, yes, free ham day. Though it seems not many of my neighbors seem to have bought cows to slaughter for this day so for the first time we might not be getting anything this year. Anyway, its usually nice having muslim neighbors during this holiday.
Could we please get a pronunciation guide for that celebration? I am not in the mood to use Google or other search engine to do so.
