So, years ago my ex and her best friend had an argument over which looks worse to see. Do you wear a bra with the pic below and have the straps not align, or do you just accept your nipples poking out through the fabric sometimes. Neither was discussing it as a lifestyle choice, like Rhianna, just in particular cases. Any opinions? https://www.tristanstyle.com/fr/women/clothing/tops/knitted-top-with-small-strap/24/fv040c1854z/ (I can't get it to load that as an image and too assed to search for a good image)
3rd option could be, do you intentionally buy fake see-through nipples? because apparently that's an option
I put in the other options for fun, but basically they were seriously trying to decide which was more aesthetically pleasing (I think the words 'less trashy' came, up but it's been a long time), not to mess with other people.
Well my ex did ask my male opinion afterwards, but yes I hope some people who have had to choose between the options when wearing some styles of clothes will give their opinions.
Female: I dislike bras but I don’t like nipples showing. I wear bras to work. If I’m going out somewhere not in the office, I go braless or wear nipple covers. I don’t care what men think-we don’t make them wear a cup when they go out. Once we do, then they can have opinions.
Defo, and also on the clothes... the thing in the picture looked pretty loose and black so nipples showing probably wouldn't be terribly visible if it happened, on the other hand you can also wear black bra or skin colour (for straps) no big deal my opinion. Tho if someone with big boobies were to wear that it would become a very tight top and you'd be looking at their nippies the entire time (depending on thickness and colour of fabric ig). I'm not biggest fan of nipples if I may be honest... I mean I'd rather not have my guys showing? You know what I mean.. I've seen people wear really thight and thin stuff where they pretty much intentionally show nipples, so it's a taste... I guess... I think visible bra straps are fine as long as the colour isn't too weird or stuff with whatever you're wearing.. there's also the option of taking the straps off for some bras but I've found that to be very very uncomfortable..
Honestly, I'd love to go no bra, or use comfy bras that unfortunately have thinner cups. But, if I do go out like that, men will stare everywhere. And some will say nasty stuff. And aunties and grannies will comment on what a whore I am. And so on. I just live in this kinda place where strangers, and especially men, feel the need to share their opinions of you unasked, and women are the worst social status quo keepers. Like if there's a girl in class who doesn't shave her armpits, she'll be bullied by the other girls before the guys even notice there's any hair under her armpits... Same for leg hair, fashion choices, short hair, untidy eyebrows, you name it. While the boys will take the chance to sexually harass the bullied victim since they're opportunists and don't sweat the small details. I don't wanna be "asking for it" by looking after my comfort. No siree, not going braless till well into my 70s.
Nipples showing doesn't look bad, just erotic. Pretty sure there is a soft porn genre of braless women in clothes. Though depending on the location and your confidence, it could be acceptable to have nipples poking out in public. After all there are plenty of man boobs poking out and no one wants to see those.
Having nipples show is just screaming for guys ( other girls too .. but less ) to gawk at you. Don't need perverts eyeing If I'm at home I would go no bra or lose sports bra , can't care less about my brother but once outside ... 100% bra straps , no straps or the ones with double horizontal straps. Sports bra sometimes show through tho ...
I pretty much always wear bras. That said, I avoid sleeveless clothing, so like... Bra straps don't show for me.
Have to order them from abroad. What they offer here covers nipples, but it's not thick enough to actually not be noticeable through shirts. And I'm not sure the ones from abroad are much better. If it's cold enough, it still shows. Unlike bras with thick cups.
