That would have been a good thing I think so he can finally hear what in her head and in her heart. Probably so lol. Even if it was just an attempt I think the scene would have been funny. I have a feeling Maxi would have stepped in though like she did the last time Rif told Aren to buzz off from escorting Maxi. Maxi would not let Aren suffer when she used him to make Rif jealous.

She is already embarassed with Aren for playing this game to make Riftan jealous and when she goes back to her room she will be embarassed to Sidina and Anette too because they were a part of this plan as well. I think Maxi will give up and leave to the tower. Anette, Sidina, Calto have been coaxing her to go back to the tower too and I believe thats what she will do, because she thinks Riftan has stopped loving her. I think they will not divorce but Riftan will go find her once the conflicts caused by Balto is over, which could take years

Riftan has Maxi cornered in a wall and kisses her and tells her that she put all that show to provoke him, Maxi is trying to make an excuse, Riftan wants Maxi to admit it. Maxi see Riftan eyes as a volcano is about to abrupt. Riftan tells Maxi that she is dressed like that for his sake. Riftan wants Maxi to admit it about the dress. Maxi feeling so much heat through her body. She has fear of Riftan bursting all his emotions out, Riftan tells Maxi play with fire, you will get burned. Maxi does admit that Riftan was right she wanted to see him in jealousy. Riftan kisses her and picks up and is walking in a dark corridor, Maxi feels embarrassed or doing obscene act in a public place. Riftan running still the corridor while Maxi being full wet under garments. Riftan opens the door and closes behind him with legs and throws Maxi at the bed, he says did Aren give you that dress, Maxi was going to say the king but then Riftan tore the dress out. I rather have my garments be taken off than being tore. Riftan is a.smart man he exactly knows why Maxi came to the banquet with Aren wearing that revealing dress. He knows she did that to provoke him and make him jealous, not that she wanted to seduce or be with another man. Unfortunately i feel a bit sad for Maxi here, because the reason she did that so he could open up and let her know his feelings and what hes been hiding inside all along, but maybe he thinks that she was trying to get his attention because she wants s3x thus he is doing like that, tearing her clothes off and handling her quite rough during this lovemaking. She a couple of times tried to crawl away from him, asked him to stop @ slow down when he entered her but soon after gave her consent because when she looks up at his handsome face she thinks that he is the man she wants and she doesnt mind if Riftan’s fiery passion will ruin her. But im glad this wil be the last time they are having misunderstandings @ miscommunications towards each other and their relationship will improve A LOT after a few more chapters. I agree with you, I also feel sorry for Maxi that she has to resort to such an act to finally wake him up. Unfortunately, he really thinks at first that she was just out for provocation to annoy him and make him jealous. He's only slowly realizing what she actually wanted to achieve with it. Once again, I was out for a bit and just caught up with all the pages lol! These chapters are some of the hardest to get through (before the banquet) in book 2. When they originally came out in Korean, I wanted to throw the computer at the wall. I was soooooo frustrated with Riftan that I, myself, just gave up. I was like "where's Kuahel?". AND THEN... the banquet happened and my frustration started melting away. Imagine the sexual tension that has been built up for months just released lol! I remember thinking this was so KSJ's style- she leaves us hopeless and then BANG! (literally). When the chapters came out a while back, I remember someone who used to write summaries wrote something like "I can't summarize this... it was basically porn". I loved reading the comments from that point because everyone was in both shock and happiness! For those of you who know what happens, I have been waiting this long to be able to relax a bit with the book because this first half is a freaking rollercoaster of emotions. I just really wanted to smack both of them on the head and also hug them and tell them everything will be ok. On another note- I see some of you mentioned "How to Get My Husband on my side" and I have it saved on my WebNovel list. I got excited because I saw it was free but now I'm wondering if it's the actual translation. Is that translation not official? Thank you angels!

I think we all share the feeling of wanting to smack their heads together and lock them in a room to make them communicate. But considering what happens when they're locked in a room, it's probably best to leave the door open, just to make sure that they talk! As for 'How to Get My Husband on My Side,' the last time I checked on webnovel, it wasn't complete (just checked again, and no, it's not complete). Damn, so the couple is FINALLY going all the way in season 2 novel? It's about time. Reading season 2 part 1 and 2 has been ABSOLUTE toture. It's so different from season 1 that I'm actually hesitant to read season 2 again. I have never read a book that made me so anxious and furious. I just finished rereading season 1 and it's amazing. But I had to take a break before reading the end of book 5. So heartbreaking to read. I wish there was a POV of Riftan for season 2. What a big mix of emotions of feelings: fear, resentment, love, abandonment, loss, confusion and prolonged period of sexual desires! It's overwhelming. Poor Maxi and Riftan. I just wanted them to embrace other when they were reunited. I would also take Maxi's place! LOL
Yeah I totally get it! I was just kind of over the whole angst at that point. I thought things were FINALLY turning around and then Riftan reversed. I was just like "i get you, BELIEVE ME, but c'mon dude". I knew about their personalities, traumas and my logical side understood, but my emotional side was just at its end. There just comes a turning point where you have to decide what you really want. I was just nervous that moment would come too late for him. Maxi knew very well what she wanted, but Riftan wouldn't accept it/ didn't know what he wanted himself. He wanted to protect her AND be with her, so I understood his serious dilemma. I get him but I'm glad he reflects on this later because I agree with what he says further down the book (not saying anything b/c spoilers!). Btw, I'm saying this because I had a turning-point with my now-husband about "at the end of the day, where do you want to be?" and it was decision-making time. Either way! I have a lot to catch up from being out the last weekend. Nana is one of my top animes to watch. I appreciate the realistic tones of relationships. It's not a happy romance show. I don't know any other anime that has hinted sex scenes like Nana. UTOT is not just snu snu but there is a lot of just hugging and kissing in UTOT so that will be new to other anime I have seen. Thanks for the Raeliana recommendation. I plan to read that. That's too bad the manhwa is so much better than the Raeliana anime adaptation. I hope that doesn't happen to Under The Oak Tree. I've been watching the Manta music videos and they are an aboluste delight to watch. Let's hope the studio delivers for UTOT fans. Suji Kim and P definitely deserve a good adaptation. I can't imagine Riftan in real life adaptation. P has done a spectacular job on Riftan's emotions from commanding, sweet and hotness. HAVE YOU ALL LISTEN TO THIS? I found this offical soundtrack for the books from RIDI. Definitely check out. The soundtrack is BEAUTIFUL. I hope the anime has a good soundtrack like this. You'll have to imagine the music for the campaign and war scenes. Here is a AMV for Yona of the Dawn fans. Hak is a GOAT just like Riftan. But Hak gets beat up way more while Riftan doesn't get a scratch. They both loved the female leads since childhood and both were willing to move to the side for the FL to have someone "better" while they were the better person. The paino medley CC and Lelouch are one of my favorite couples as well! Their personalites and maturity definitely click. The Madder Sky song makes that last scene so awesome. So epic... My husband and I named one of our kittens after Lelouch. We call him LuLu. We got 3 kittens last year. Reminds me of the kittens from UTOT. We have 2 tabbies and 1 white kittens and their Mom. My friend won't read the manhwa. She's only reading the UTOT books and she's hooked! She's on book 5 and we are going to have a talk after she completes book 5. This song is sad but a very good depiction for Maxi in Under the Oak Tree. Thank you for not spoiling!

At first, I started watching the anime because of the artists, but I quickly fell in love with the story! Oh, I listened to that song from Maxi's AMV. Spoiler: More spoilers Maxi and Riftan doing it in the dark in the room with no lights on, just the moon gleaming through their window. Even in the dark Maxi finds him handsome. Maxi did made her man in mad in jealousy, her ultimate goal was just so he can open his feelings, Riftan will decide if he wants to open up his feelings after doing with her. Maxi always being naked in front of Riftan gets ashamed, Maxi it isn't the first time you are naked with him, she was trying to get the sheets to cover herself but then Riftan growls, "no". I really thought Maxi was trying to run away from her shameful nakedness and Riftan growls and grabs her, until I read it again. Maxi only feel ashamed, she was the only naked and Riftan was with clothes on. After grabbing her, he opens her legs and tasting her, and looking at her eyes, but then he takes his trousers out and Maxi's sees Riftan lewd act. Riftan really wanted to enter inside of her, but he was really having restraint to go inside of her, I believe he was struggling this because he is scared to get her pregnant, Riftan couldn't control himself enters inside her. Maxi is feeling so much pleasure as she is crying, screaming, grabbing the sheets of the bed. Riftan is giving her more pleasure. I am curious can people of the banquet could hear them doing it? Maxi is moaning out loud, if the banquet has music on and loud they might not hear them doing it. At the end of the chapter I believe Riftan was crying, he must have the same thoughts as Maxi or he was wrong treating her, his sobs could be that he could've almost lost her. As we don't have Riftan pov, we don't know what are his thoughts while sobbing. Only if we had his pov we could know what he is thinking.
