Spoiler: Spoiler: summary 120 Riftan is forcing Maxi to eat. He feeds her a tart, as she is eating the tart, it was creamy and sweet. She never thought she would be in lewd position and being on top of him and feeding her. Her abdomen burning for more and Riftan won't do it until she finishes her food and that she needs to stop whining. Maxi feared he was going to keep her there until she finished her whole platter. She obediently started eating, and if she didn't ate, this mortifying situation wouldn't end. She had so many bites of fruit and bread, the heat coming from her stomach and she is at her limit. She rock her hips against him and has her hands on his waist and she is writhing. She was seeking pleasure but modest movements fell short on her. She wants to stop eating and Riftan doesn't want her to stop eating and that she hasn't had enough and pick up a strawberry off the plate and wants her to eat it. Maxi has had enough. She is having desire and Riftan grabs her and thrust upward. He told her, she is going to satisfied her once she has eaten the strawberry. He puts the strawberry on her mouth and she starts chewing, and then Riftan socks her lips. She felt her torture was over and now her relief wasn't over as Riftan increases rough thrusts, he wasn't going to back down. She claws at his stomach and feels so much pleasure. Still with her intense lovemaking she felt a spurt coming out of her. She stutters "no" and is climaxing. Riftan is startled by her intense reaction and wraps his arms around her and drives him deeper. After Riftan climax, Maxi felt drained and that she went to sleep. Maxi wakes up and notices Riftan with trousers on. He goes to her bedside and carries her and put her inside the bathtub by the fireplace and her joint and muscles feeling relief. She has noticed the room neat and Maxi wants to know if someone was in the room and Riftan answers the maidservants. She wants to know for how long she was asleep and Riftan answers for 2 hours. Riftan takes his trousers out and goes inside the bathtub. He pulls Maxi on his lap and feels his hard Rod on her buttocks but she can't go anymore. Riftan doesn't tend to do anything with her. While in the bath Riftan massages her waist. If it is alright to be in the room? Riftan was expecting that question and he answers, the rooms are reserved for banquet guests. Maxi has missed this tender moment but she still feels unease. She wants to know if Riftan is still angry at her, and he questions of what does she thinks, Maxi answer him back but cuts her and she just put that show to infuriate him. Maxi hunches and for her it didn't seem he was angry but deep in thought. Riftan rubs his lips on her and telling her why is she looking at him like that. She got what she wanted. I get the feeling the next chapter he is going to open up his feelings and break those walls off him. Riftan is true she what wanted but it was partially, she did so you can pay attention to her and wants you to open up and be back as husband and wife. She is really trying so hard to save her marriage.
Poor Riftan. He still has a lot of hurt, mistrust and abandonment from Maxi. Maxi made a decision to leave Riftan for 3 years without talking to him and made the decision herself. Husband and wife need to make decisions together. He had to battle the red dragon for 3 years and suffer another 3 years alone. He's 31 now and only been with Maxi for 1 year out of their 6 year marriage.
Hi everyone, I'm reading the beginning of chapter 100 of the second book. Anyone else desperate for a POV of Riftan and Ruth infiltrating the city? Oh I loved it so much. I like the stories of the two of them, already in Riftan's POV.
Hi everyone! It's been a while (almost a year) since I visited this forum again. I'm glad to see a few familiar usernames and the same enthusiasm. I haven't been following this series for a while. But I came back cos I saw Book 2 was released on Amazon. I checked RIDI and there isn't any new side stories but I heard there's a side story on the kids?? Can someone confirm and help update me? I cbb reading finding it through all these pages.
Hahaha great job for the details MARSEA12 . Riftan is still going crazy in this chapter. Poor Maxi unable to handle it, Like i mentioned in my previous comment, Maxi doesnt want it this way. Besides she wants to know his true feelings, she also want his love, attention and tenderness from Riftan. Maybe he could make love to her in a more tender, loving and romantic way instead of doing her roughly that way . Why there is no soft caresses and gentle kisses during the lovemaking Riftan? She is your wife, the only love in your life. But Im glad he didnt leave her side when he’s done. He’s still taking care of her, feeding her food - even in that lewd, awkward position and clean@bathe her. Yes next chapter he will open up. Prepare to shed some tears .
Three isn't any side stories about their children. The side side stories about their children might come out next year. I don't believe Maxi abandoned him coming from Riftan perspective he sees it that way. Both have trust issues foe each other.
The only tender kisses were when he was feeding her. Maxi body was asking for more and wanted it but then Riftan had to go rough. I hope after he opens up he be kisses and be tender to her, even when they are doing it. Maxi screaming out loud, behind doors people have to heard them doing it, she is loud. I bet even the people from the banquet must have heard them, only if the room is far and the maidservants are only listening their lovemaking. If the people of the banquet are listening of them doing, what are they thinking about the couple?
I don't think the people at the banquet heard them. The room is certainly far enough away from the ballroom.
I'm not yet at that chapter. I love the Riftan and Ruth scenes in book 6. I can't wait to see that illustrated and animated. I love this comic duo.
Yeah im with y’all. Maxi found and executed the only plan she thought would work on Riftan at the moment. Like we all know, Rif is a very physical lover. So she used that to her advantage. But I feel like she would’ve wanted to talk to him first, a heart to heart if you will. She loves to be intimate with Riftan (who wouldn’t) but she would have been more at peace knowing there problems were resolved before doing the deed. Does that makes sense? Anyways I’m excited to read this part in particular to get all the juicy details engraved in my retinas and of course the scenes were our ML’s reconcile. Thank you @MARSEA12 for taking the time out of your day to give us these spoilers!
I was thinking about that. Riftan and Maxi should've talked their feelings out first then do the deed. I think the author wrote this way to make it super spicy and excite the reader's. What would've been if it was written the other way, would Riftan be rough on her or tender? Thanks. I hope can write my thoughts and summary until the end of the book.
I agree it was written like that for a reason. I think that Riftan being overcome by all these volatile emotions like jealousy, anger, resentment, defeat, love, passion, really vamped up the feels on the lovemaking scenes. He’s always been a passionate rough lover but his emotions provoked by maxi’s plan really kind of turned him crazed and ravenous . I believe we wouldn’t have had that 1 week marathon without all that. Ksj didn’t just withhold the snu snu from Riftan, but from us as well hahah. Almost half of book 2 without them (we had gotten spoiled on book1). Their sex marathon really made up for the coldness & distance we read at first(book 2). Im just glad we got to this part. Can’t wait to read about their reconciliation next!
That seems the same to me and makes sense, but Riftan isn't there yet. You described it very well in your second answer. No, I think KsJ wrote it directly according to Riftan's feelings about it. He expresses himself more physically than verbally, this is his way of showing her what he is feeling, and his feelings are pretty mixed up at this point. Thank God the two of them will talk soon. I have a favorite scene in this regard, but I don't want to get ahead of the spoilers.
Oh yeah for sure. I know Rif’s emotions regarding maxi are complicated at the moment. I was just focusing on maxi’s frame of mind. As we read in the spoiler, we can see how maxi responds to Riftan’s rigorous actions *cough cough*, how tremendously overwhelmed she is by his very expressive physical performance. I see that by maxi’s “scheme” succeeding, Riftan felt he was forced in admitting defeat. Him not being verbally expressive about his feelings & like his situation as a whole really baffled me when he was so nonchalant about what literally occurred during those days. And him basically just asking maxi if that wasn’t what she wanted/expected (his defeat) as a result of her provocation. The tone I got from him was very casually calm, like if it was just a done deal. All this dragged out cold indifference and childish tantrums from both of them were just over, just like that. Idk, I just found this very interesting & slightly amusing.
Hey there, everyone! Sorry for my absence these days; I've been abducted by 'Lucia.' Haha, thanks, @Selina-may, for the recommendation! So, on one hand, I've been engrossed in 'Lucia,' and on the other hand, I didn't want to write because I feel that my opinion differs from everyone else's. Let me explain why. As I see it now, it's Riftan's time to grow. Up until this part of the book, we've seen Maxi, followed her, and been with her through her decision-making, whether right or wrong. We've been there alongside her. It was HER decision to listen to Sidina; it was HER decision to wear that dress, it was HER decision to make Riftan jealous, and since everything was HER decision, she now has to accept the consequences. Her desires to talk or to spend less time in bed are no longer her decisions. They ceased to be the moment Riftan decided to throw caution to the wind and give her what she sought. I believe, and this is based on all your opinions so far, that we might not allow ourselves or don't want to see that Maxi can sometimes be a bit selfish with Riftan in certain situations. That's why I'm asking that we take a little stroll down memory lane and analyze them. When she returned and she was ready to talk, she wanted to rebuild their relationship and go back to how things were before she left, without stopping for a second to think about Riftan's feelings. From the moment Riftan appeared to rescue her, she wanted to talk, share space with him, be by his side, merge with him, without pausing for even a second to consider what Riftan was feeling. When she didn't get the responses she expected, she started with embarrassing scenes of throwing things at him, shouting, and so on. And in the middle of all that, the cave happened. Why are we forgetting that in the cave, Riftan wasn't entirely on board with being intimate, while she was? So, things happened there in Maxi's way because that's what she wanted, even though Riftan didn't want to at that moment because he felt it wasn't the right time. Now, we're living through the same situation, but in reverse. I feel like we're judging Riftan excessively, saying he's not being gentle enough or that he should speak first... but it's not the time to talk for Riftan. Maxi can want whatever she wants, but right now, it's Riftan's time, and he doesn't want to talk yet. He wants to feel, to reclaim those lost years, to quell his jealousy, to mark her as his again. We've come back to the starting point, which was a separation of three years after their wedding night. Now, it's been three years again after a year of living together during which they didn't get to know each other well, and many things were hidden. In both cases, Riftan didn't choose that separation; it was arbitrarily decided by others on his behalf, first by the Duke and then by Maxi. We can argue all we want about the second separation, but we can't disregard that Maxi's decision was made without consulting him, and that hurts, a lot. Now, by admitting his defeat and by reclaiming her as his, he's setting his pace. HE needs to lose himself in her because his emotions are so chaotic that the only thing that brings order to his chaos is Maxi's body—feeling her, knowing she's his. He's taking his time to savor her, to claim her, to show her that she belongs to him and no one else, just as he belongs to her alone. There will be time for talking, and they will do that, but not now. Now, he's allowing himself to feel, to live again, and he needs her to be there for him, just as he was there for her when she needed it.
You're welcome with Lucia, that's a great story and something different. Well said and it's true that she had a lot to look forward to. I would like to say that she is selfish to a limit, because that is what she is in her actions and he has mostly been in his thinking so far. We all know the different ways of growing up. Riftan receives experience, Maxi is forced to stay standing by her father. I would also like to say that she did not do this out of purely selfish feelings against Riftan. But you're right, you have to take your partner's feelings into consideration and not just remain in a state of expectation by assuming feelings and results that the other person has to fulfill. Otherwise I agree with your statement. The two of them still have a lot to learn when it comes to relationship work, but I am firmly convinced that they will manage it in the right way
Today webtoon chapter It didn't follow how was in the novel. It skipped some parts and Riftan was worry and angry.
