I can see why the fans were concerned. They way they drew Lucia's eyes was special. Reminded me of the drawings from The Siren webtoon. Probably because you've already watched something similar on YouTube and the channel suggests something new to you. I agree with you, but let's just wait and see. Thanks for the spoiler picture of Hugh, it is a little different than before, but that's okay. Today is the first part of the 3rd season, I'm looking forward to it.
Spoiler: summary:125 In today chapter we have Kuahel and Riftan POV. Kuahel with his paladins travel through the dark forest and he smells a scent he is too familiar, fumes, ashes and death. He tells his group to prepare for battle. The knights unscheated their weapons and were ready for an attack, Kuahel could senses danger in the air. After riding all day in the forest, he saw a column black hole coming out above the hill. He went to look down and the whole village was in flames and burnt down and destroyed. One of his subordinates says, they arrived late. Kuahel says, the fires are burning and they aren't that far away. Kuahel had a premonition that danger is coming to them. While the coalition army was fighting in the Pamela Plateau, a small of group of Temple Knights were wandering around the Seven Kingdoms to hunt the fallen mages. The heretics managed to hid themselves it puzzle Kuahel why were they are taking now after maintaining a low profile. Kuahel gallops to the village and his fellow knights must have sense danger as they already had their weapons drawn out. Kuahel dismount a horse a slice through a ghoul and notices more body arising from the ground and figures outside that this work is from a necromancer that is nearby. Kuahel summons his divine power and was about to head a location, when the ground shakes and a undead monster erupts where he was standing. His knights exclaimed "commander". Kuahel defeats the monster with his weapons and divine magic. More ghouls come out, he engulfs all of them will his blue flames. The path is clear and resume to track the heretics managed, but the the flow of the mana shifted. Kuahel calls them, "darn rats" as they were successful in shifting their flow of mana. Kuahel notices around the forest that they are a thousand of undead and tells one of his subordinates to send a word to the nearest fief. His subordinates says that his hollines wanted to keep the mission in secrecy and Kuahel tells him, "did I ask for your opinion". His subject closes his mouth and Kuahel maye an eye contact of warning them. Makes a comand of obedience if they heard him. The Temple Knights complied with him. Riftan comes into a room and Ursuline does a sarcasm to Riftan of how nice he joins them. Riftan doesn't say a word and just sits on down a desk and leafs paperwork. Ursuline tells him is a report of the Temple Knights whereabouts and where they have traveled. Riftan wants to know what is the situation in the north. Ursuline explains all about their vessel, goods and merchant ships. Riftan assume the goods are filling the Balto royal coffers. Ursuline doesn't have proof but most likely so. Riftan skims through all the report of the continent of Roviden with a thoughtful mind. He wants to know what are Richt movements and Ursula sentence is cut off by hearing someone coming and it's Hebaron. Hebby teases Riftan and he was the last person he wanted to see. He stills keeps teasing him and Hebaron is really getting bad on his mood that he wants to slice his tongue. He notices Riftan blushing as a new bride that everything has gone well. Riftan kicks Hebaron shin as he isn't the mood to listen to Riftan vulgar teasing. While Riftan was gone Hebaron took care of all his duties and heard some info and is about the Orthodox church and doing a hearing about the pope. Riftan was going to speak as he notices his wife across the garden skipping and happy as she just received good news. Hebaron remarks, that she must be here to see Riftan and both can continue with their discussion later. Riftan leaps out of the rail and ransacked toward Maxi, she is surprised to see him suddenly but then she makes a lovely smile. Maxi says, "Riftan". Riftan catches her by his arms and she tip toes and kisses him in the chin. Today chapter I don't have so much thoughts. I really love Hebaron teasing and his comrades must be happy to see the old Riftan back not anymore the grump man with an emioneless face. His knights must had a hard to with Riftan of him having a rocky relationship with Maxi. Maxi and Riftan were having a fluffy moment, I need to them more this way than being all day in the bedroom and making out. I believe the next chapter is going to parallel as the first book. Maxi is going to gift Riftan something just as he did in the first book before leaving to war.
I really love what you said @Delina . “ he falls in love with her all over again” bc it’s true. They both are seeing each other in a new light. With all the growth on both parts (& more still to come),they are getting to know themselves & each other Like if it were for the first time. Almost as if they were courting. All these fluffy scenes between them are beyond lovely. Keep in mind, before all of this, they had spent 1 year together out of the 7 (ish) years of marriage. I'm so glad Rif decided to let it all go and let his feelings return as well. I mean I get being upset with someone and wanting to stay away to protect yourself. But they are married and he had a choice to make. Either stay guarded and miserable for the rest of his life, or heal, let it go, and move forward so that you can find happiness woth the person you love. I'm so glad he chose to heal and move forward with Maxi. It's better than being angry sad and miserable. They definitely have fallen in love with each other all over again, or maybe it's that their love has gotten deeper. I read somewhere that love grows and changes as couples grow together. There are many different types of feelings, emotions, and choices you make as your love grows. Now that Maxi and Rif have overcome such a hard season and grown personally, I think their love has blossomed into something new for this next season of their lives. So happy for them. I really like how they will treat each other in these next coming chapters. In the past, Maxi would see how Rif was always so relaxed and would laugh and joke with his men. She wanted that too. Niw she will finally get to experience that with him. There is going to be some pretty cute and even funny moments between them coming up, but also some serious ones. Can't wait to read them. Has anyone been having issues with the platform? It keeps kicking me out, logs me put, or freezes. Sometimes it won't let me log in or says I don't have permission to perform a certain action. I see a few couples in real life when they get back together after a break up they become more crazily inlove than before, that’s how i see Maxi and Riftan too, and they learned from past mistakes too so that’s makes the relationship stronger going forward. But where is my post that i wrote earlier, i didnt remember deleting it .. i think MARSEA12’s post containing the spoiler on today’s chapter is also missing. Same here my recent post is also missing, and im too lazy to retype it
Same here! I’ve been logged off too many times even though I’ve had the “ stay logged in” box check out. I haven’t checked if my previous posts have gone missing but it’s indeed strange. As I seemed to recall, the forum hasn’t had issues before or at least I didn’t see anyone pointing it out hopefully it’s just a glitch or something like that.
Me too. Lol Maybe there are so many pages on this forum it's having a hard time keeping up? Can't believe we will be at 1000 soon. I came in around the 500s. I've seen other spoiler pages and they have like 3, 7, 15 pages. Even on some of the popular novels.
My post went missing too. I always get logged out. The last chapter was beyond cute and fuzzy feelings. I do like their relationship more now compared to volume 1 book. I have been with my husband for 12 years and it definitely changes overtime to a deeper connection. It's really the small gestures and moments that are the most meaningful. Laughing, don't take things too seriously, communication, trust and respect is key.
You wrote that well and I think they are growing stronger together just as their love for each other is becoming very strong now. In the future they will be able to interact better and understand each other better. Compromise more easily and respect each other. Yes, like you, I am happy to read everything in the original and am already looking forward to the next chapters.
