You can copy and google the Japanese title and the website for raws would be the first searching result. You could find lots of Japanese light novel on that website and it could automatically translate to English, just make sure you read the raws with chrome (or any apps that has translation function).

It's Thursday once again, which means episode nine of the anime. For once, I didn't read everybody's lifetweets on Twitter, so I don't know what today's episode is going to bring. :blobsad:

I'm scared. The Sinner Arc is my favorite, so I'm hoping they don't mess it up.:blobpensive:

And we're starting with the battle royale to decide Pryde's first guardian knight.

...I really hate Eric's vocal direction. I grinded my teeth when I heard that Eric was supposed to be the cute, boku-type. Eric is supposed to be the Normal One. Alain is the Amazon Chaser, Colm is the Responsible One, and Harrison is the Blood Knight. I normally like Eric, but this vocal direction makes it hard.:blobpopcorn_two:

And we completely skip Stella this episode. Instead of coming home at night after playing with the baby all day, it's midday and they've just been touring the town. I'm not surprised, I'm just disappointed. No acknowledgement that another year has passed, either. Sigh...

The scene when Val wakes up is different, too. Val doesn't grab Tiara, and he doesn't try to throw himself out the window.

...Why did the anime make the contract send Val flying across the room for no reason?? If it’s because Val was trying to push himself up and he just went airborne because of excess force (understandable), then why the spooky sound effects? :blobwoah:

I don't like this scene change, either. Why isn't Gilbert there? He should be there for late-night strategizing. And why is Val back in his dirty clothes, what is wrong with these people??

Eh? "Knock 'em out with water at full blast"? Val doesn't know Sefek can do that. He thinks she has as much waterpower as a kitchen faucet.

Oh, but Val's tears. The way he cries like he doesn't know what's happening. I love it. Ten out of ten, worth it. blobmelt_thumbs

And Val doesn't faint from exhaustion. Come on, that's the best part. Fall asleep on Pryde! :blobcatblush:

So Gilbert only gets mentioned once all episode, and he doesn't appear at all. Hopefully he gets more weight in the next episode. :blobsleepless:

This being the case, I'd rate today's episode 7.6, based entirely on book accuracy.

I will be very upset if Stella doesn't get mentioned next week. :blobcat_knife:

Anyways, on a different note: It looks like the manga continuation has just made it into the traffickers den, according to Twitter. Sadly, the official website isn't updating so we can admire the raws. We would need to buy the magazine to see it. I am sad. The Sinner Arc is my favorite one. :blobflag:

Here's hoping this manga run gets picked up and translated officially, too.::bloblove::

(And if you're curious about webnovel updates, the latest chapter had a mega twist at the end. :blobfearful: Hopefully the Bonding Arc will end soon so I can tell everyone about it.)

It's Thursday once again, which means episode ten of the anime. Did they correct their sins from the last episode? :blobunsure:

The episode starts with the "hostage exchange." (Can Val actually move rubble that far from himself? I don't remember.) And Pryde doesn't get shoved in a sack, so she doesn't get to panic over Val. Siigh...

I'm not going to subtract points for this, because obviously the animators had to, but I still roll my eyes at Gilbert's power auto-tailoring clothing whenever he ages or youthens people. I get it, there are fewer clothing malfunctions this way, but still, Gilbert's power doesn't work like that.

But I'm still taking points over Pryde not protesting Gilbert coming with. He has a newborn! And why does Stayle assign everyone their names? It was an actual discussion in the novel.

And they cut Stayle's subterfuge in the wagon. He just goes ham teleporting people.

I am definitely a fan of M.A.O. playing Sefek. Her voice is great. The voice direction for Gilbert-as-Gil, however...why didn't he try to sound younger? He still sounds like a thirty-year-old nobleman. :blobpopcorn_two:

And they didn't even bother hiding Powell. They also cut Stayle's retreat and consultation with Val, which I understand, because time constraints. But they changed where Stayle dropped Powell, too...unless that's supposed to be the lake Phillip likes?

Another thing they cut is Arthur, Pryde and Gilbert splitting up to care for the other prisoners. Which isn't a big deal until you realize that means Arthur doesn't get to heal the sick.

And why in the world are Pryde and Arthur just greeting the knights? Secondly, they decided to drop Pryde's age to eight here? Not eleven??? Why!!

Alain, you're a creep. I love you, but your attraction to Pryde (whatever her age) makes me feel uneasy letting you near children. It's even worse in the novel, but that smile of yours is creepy. :blobconcerned:

Eh? Pretty sure Alain and Arthur outran the other knights (who caught up later).

But hey, the animators really stepped up their game this episode! They completely made up for the clunky fight scene from the Knights Arc. Arthur looked so cool, and Pryde was amazing. (I wish the chain guy had a better design, but eh.)

This being the case, I'd rate today's episode 8.0, based entirely on book accuracy.

According to the previews, next week's episode will be a fun one. Val becomes overpowered, and we get to see Adam for the first time. :blobpitch:

It really makes me wonder what they plan to do for the season finale. ::bloblove::

Good question! I honestly don't know. :blobsweat_2: Tenichi-sensei doesn't write very strong romantic relationships that I've noticed (through my experience with two of her stories, including this one).

Stayle is the "easy" option: most screentime, first one to fall for Pryde, brilliant with strong political support, etc. He's also extremely boring as a romantic interest in my opinion, but a lot of Japanese novels pick the easy, boring route. :blobawkward:

Arthur is the "beta" option: next-most screentime, powerful but down-to-earth, devoted but married to his job. He's the quintessential Second Male Lead. I still think he's boring as a romantic interest, but sometimes authors throw the Everyman a bone. :blobowo:

Colm shouldn't even be on this list: he has little weight in the story, but as a potential fiancé for Pryde, I had to include him. Colm would need some kind of storyline to make him realistically viable as a love interest, but like Arthur, he's married to his job. Again, boring. :blobimfine:

Val is my favorite among the potential male leads, because he is amazing. He gets the most character development, flirts the most (and has an actual sense of humor), and his character basically exists as some kind of cheat code narratively (which balances Pryde). The avalanche, the cave-in, two separate wars, plus multiple bouts of Pryde's depression? All solved handily by Val. He always shows up the exact instant Pryde needs him, it's amazing. :meowinlove:

Plus, Pryde never enslaves Val in the game timeline. She actually feels kinship towards him, because they're both considered pariahs in Freesia. :blobdoggoheart:

However, while I adore Val, I cannot say whether he will be the Male Lead in the end. As things stand now, probably not. Val hates both royalty and nobility on principle, so him becoming Prince Consort is highly unlikely. A lot will need to happen before that's even possible. :blobpensivepray:

Is this novel still ongoing or is it completed? If its completed can someone give spoilers about the ending?

    The novel is still ongoing.

Part One, which deals with the plot of the first game, has been completed. We are currently on Part Two (which introduces characters from the second game).

It's Thursday once again, which means episode eleven of the anime. It's the end of the Sinner Arc, let's see how they did...!

The episode starts with them learning about Sefek and Kemet rushing back into the cave. I think that in the novel, everybody stopped (or at least slowed down) to talk, and I don't know how the knights could have updated Arthur without Pryde knowing about it. I guess they didn't want to voice an unnamed character here?

I'm not a huge fan of how they decided to animate Sefek's special ability, but watching her ineffectually splash the knights just makes me think, huh. Val hasn't taught Sefek self-defense yet. Which is accurate, but to think that he doesn't teach his kids until Tiara bullies him into teaching her!

The Val+Kemet ability combo legitimately made me cry. The way they animated it, everything was so beautiful, I really thought So this was how it was. I did think that Val took a bit longer than I imagined to start grinning and cackling with the possibilities, but it wasn't explicitly said. I do wish that Pryde kept her monologue, worrying about Kemet using his power on someone with the worst attitude. Because Pryde complaining about Val was cute.

Okay, the animators lost a ton of points with me personally with their portrayal of Tippet. I always pictured her hooded cloak to be black, and I'm interested to see that she has white hair...but my complaint is that they had her smile? Why? She's completely brainwashed, there is no smiling, because smiling implies that she's complicit, a collaborator. She's a puppet, why make her smile? If she could smile and be cute then she wouldn't wear a hood all the time. :blob_catflip:

I love that they kept the flashback sequence from the novel...but I don't understand why they decided to exclude Sefek throwing stones at Val, too. That's the entire reason she decided to follow him, because Val decided not to retaliate. But instead, they had Sefek get hit by stones, and the kids just fled in terror when Val looked at them?

Why did they add Val trying to hurt Sefek? He never did that. He might have yelled, cursed, and thrown things, but he never tried to stomp on her head. The heck, animators? :blobcurse:

Anyway, I realize that the scene where Pryde threw herself off the cliff to rescue Val wasn't going to be very long. But why did they cut the scene directly after it, and just skip to the part where Val went to hug Sefek and Kemet? Ahh, I wish this episode was longer!

This being the case, I'd rate today's episode 8.8, based entirely on book accuracy.

I absolutely loved this episode. Best episode yet. I would have loved another ten minutes, just so they could add the few bits they cut out. Even just the part directly after Stayle rescued them. ::bloblove::

My only real complaint is how the Rajah Empire was portrayed? Wasn't there two balloons in the novel? Didn't they have a lot more explosives than just twelve sticks of dynamite? Plus, they didn't have Adam namedrop himself or the Rajah Empire in this episode. Why not??? :confusedcatblob:

Anyways, looks like the next episode covers, like, the last chapter of the Sinner Arc...and who knows what else? We'll find out next week, with the conclusion of season one. :meowtihihi:

It's Thursday once again, which means episode twelve of the anime. It's the last episode.

I spent all week thinking about how I wanted it to end, scenes I wanted to be included. I really want more scenes with Tiara, scenes that show who she is as a person. The anime really neglects her. :meowsadlife:

Let's see how they did this last episode.

The episode starts with a completely original scene, where Pryde and the rest go on another inspection of the castle town. Arthur warns them against going near the border because they're still investigating the unknown bomber situation.

Oh, it's Val! Making his first delivery. I don't know why he's delivering scrolls and calling it "mail"; they do have actual paper and envelopes, you know. What were the animators thinking? I know they know that wax seals exist.

And they weren't even working for the palace at the time? It was effectively a job interview? Are you serious right now? Why are you doing this! Why did you change everything like this, it's stupid, it doesn't improve anything or make it seem more interesting. It's actually annoying. Two minutes into the episode and I feel like throwing things.

And seconds after Pryde gives Val that job, without even mentioning that it's one of the institutions she's created specifically to strengthen the country...we immediately move on to talking about schools. And note that the anime completely cut out all of Pryde's worrying about what she wanted to contribute to her country (which is what led to the courier service and schools). So it's all coming completely out of left field! Yay!

Why is Pryde using the school to leverage Val, Sefek and Kemet into working for her? The heck, what were the scriptwriters thinking, are they actually stupid? If you just kept the story as is, then this conversation would have flowed naturally, instead of coming across as actual extortion.

I am only four minutes in, and they have already lost a full point. This is terrible. :meowfacepalm:

And now they're fighting over payment for services rendered, with Stayle wanting to hold off on payment until they finish their inspection. You're a teleporter, Stayle. Take five seconds and get the money yourself. Or maybe grow up and send a servant to get it. (The scriptwriters are infuriating.)

At least Val is pretty. Please, let me be healed by the eye candy. :blobreachdrool:

Nope. Quick flashback to show the first time Pryde calls Stayle her prince. And they couldn't even put this flashback in the right location. They moved it to when Val is reunited with Kemet and Sefek, Pryde just randomly hugs Stayle and gushes over him.

At least they left Val trolling Stayle and Arthur unchanged, even if they changed literally everything else. Seriously, only Val's dialogue here is the same as the novel.

Scene change here, and we get to watch Gilbert give Arthur a lesson on unarmed combat. I'll actually give this one a pass, since it did actually happen, even if realistically it took place literal months before this point. Except that the scriptwriters decided to have Stayle partake. Didn't you just say you would rather die than join in?

So I know that Arthur does actually need these fighting tips, but I'm actually cheering Gilbert on. I just don't want Stayle to win, this episode makes him annoying. :meowfacepalm:

Hey, Val came over to watch the match! Welcome! We're watching Gilbert beat everyone up, come sit with me, let's cheer him on! :meowinlove:

Oh hey, finally, something that's in the novel! Tiara asks Val if she can hang out with Sefek and Kemet. Yay, their friendship is adorable.

Val accidentally grabbing Pryde's hand instead of Kemet's is cute, even if it didn't happen in the novel. Then again, they originally had this scene in Pryde's office, so it realistically wouldn't have happened there. :blob_hands:

And they decided to keep Kemet asking how Val feels about Pryde, too...even if the location is still wrong.

Pryde cheers too loud. My ears are bleeding. The volume was fine a minute ago, but now...should I mute it?? I should mute it. Maybe fast-forward through this part, too. The secondhand embarrassment is strong. This is why I don't ship Pryde with Stayle or Arthur. I am uncomfortable. :blobcatblush2:

And then, after making my ears bleed, Stayle and Arthur stand up again to defeat Gilbert. Boring. :blobtired:

Yay, another completely nonsensical flashback. Why was Arthur cradling Stayle when the cliff was being bombed? Arthur was supposed to be with Pryde. Stayle should have been in a wagon, with the other liberated prisoners.:blob_catflip:

I don't understand why this episode keeps playing with the timeline. Arthur and Stayle's post-annihilation war discussion realistically would have happened the next day, not a week later. Dumb.

Despite this being the case, today's episode managed to score a 8.2, based entirely on book accuracy. Adding up the scores of the previous episodes, the novel accuracy of season one is 101.8 out of 120. Pretty decent.:blobpopcorn_cool:

There are a couple things that I would have liked in this episode. Gilbert making Bale an informant would have been great, and would have made this episode less fanservice-y. Gilbert's lesson should have taken place at Gilbert's house, which would have been a great opportunity to see Marianne with baby Stella. :blobsob:

I would have loved to see Tiara bully Val into teaching her knife throwing (though we didn't get to see this scene in the novel). I wanted Tiara to shock people. :blobtriumph:

Anyway, I forgot to list the voice actors for Powell and Adam, so here's that.

i've recently just finished watching the anime, i initially was on arthurxpride ship but in last two episodes made me see the potential in valxpride. plus, they have chemistry. it surprisingly made me giggle, especially the bit where he licked her feet. didn't peg him to be the teaser type but considering his bad boy image... ig it does fit him. lol

reading the spoilers here, however, cemented everything for me and ig i'll confidently say, i'm 100% a valxpride shipper now. i love every single one of their interactions. their romantic tension was really a surprise to me and it got me hooked. lmao i'm not one for massive age gaps but this? i wouldn't mind especially that pride is atleast an adult now which i'm thankful for. 6 years isn't that much so as long as the other party isn't a minor.

Welcome! Our first anime-first fan! Glad to see you. And I'm happy that you like all the Val/Pryde scenes. They're a great ship, even if Tenichi-sensei hasn't been feeding us lately in the novel. (At least we're finally out of the middle school arc now; I thought we would never leave!)

Val is actually seven years older than Pryde (this specific number is written in the novel text). However, the Successor Arc takes place in June, and Val's birthday is in September/October, so he's written down as 25 there even though he would be turning 26 that year.

using the base ages for the current year

    41 - Roderick (November 11)

    40 - Albert

    39 - Clark (September 20)

I wanna know that why does a otome female MC where the game Pryde enters has so many love interest but isn't aware that she stole the main protagonist I mean Tiara's love interest (especially Arthur and Stayle) where Pryde is always rooting his adpoted brother and Arthur to make a move on Tiara tho but the boys wanted Pryde bcoz she just changed these people's story. Yet the plot isn't heavily into romance but there are hints and potential on who is Pryde dealing with some male characters she encountered within every episode.

I just went here and still new at this platform.. After watching all of the eps of the Lastame Anime. So I've been deeply interested with this Val/Pryde ship and I'm into on this bandwagon because I also tried to self-search if there's any discussions about them so far until I've read all of the Val and Pryde's PoV that you've given. Especially the Sinner Arc.. had me moved on starting to ship them unexpectedly, I was rooting for Pryde and Stayle(Stale) at first because he's closer to Pryde and became the First Prince of the Royal Family. But then I switch into these to as when at the Episode 9 watching in the Anime on stream.. when Pryde interrogated Val to open up his mixed, undiscovered feelings towards Sefekh and Khemet to guard them from the human traffickers to kidnap those people with special ability.. that's the start of what Val is gonna do with his life to help those kids who followed him and tries to 'make them want to live comfortably' as he spill his words and emotions thru Pryde. She gave his feelings so many meanings and shared wisdom and going on a rescue mission.

Val was such a tsundere and Pryde tamed his bad boy attitude and become a better person to his kids, to the country he lived and Pryde own his life but she doesn't slave him but puts Val as a dependable well-trusted servant as when she orders all the things that can benefit him and get his life straight on the right track. Pryde is so empathetic that she melts his rough exterior into a marshmallow. She always do win every people's hearts when she uses her savior powers (plus her last boss cheat abilities).

The episode 12 was caught me off guard man, :blob_blush: I haven't expected that Val also swore his loyalty to Pryde and beats Chancellor Gilbert by licking her feet (with a bit of a sexual tension right there ~kyahh!) The author seems to address directly about their foot fetishes tho lol. :blobmelt: the last episode is half entirely about Val and Pryde yet he doesn't realize that he develops a serious crush on her and doesn't want to show it in front of Pryde-sama after she saves his life. And the way Val accidentally took her arm and thought he was holding Khemet at that time. Dude was so slick! And the kids caught his face bright red:blobsmirk::blobowoevil: (but it wasn't show in the camera how Val was flustered so they cut his fact out of the can while awkwardly walking away to join Tiara and the kids, too bad lol) I knew these two had so much potential to become something more but Pryde was too caught up on her savior complex. And to prevent her losing herself becoming as the last boss villain.

Anyways, I'm so glad that I've recently stumbled your past chapters spoiler posts about this ship and totally really felt so in love reading them all the fluffs and moments were both of them are involved in a specific ch. and you've pointed out and delivered those messages perfectly :blobnosebleed::blobokhand: Kudos to you!

There are two reasons why Pryde doesn't realize Stayle, Arthur (and everyone else) is in love with her. :blog-uwu-reading:

First, Pryde is extremely innocent. She has zero experience with dating; all of her knowledge comes from dating sims. The first line of the novel claims that her previous life was pretty smooth sailing, but the story itself makes me believe that this was because she had no attachments to anything. The novel never mentions her old family at all, and hints from the novel makes me believe that if she had friends, they were all superficial. Her only hobby was playing this otome game series, and she was very secretive about it; she never mentioned it to anyone. She even refers to her past self as a secret otaku, so she was probably quiet, studious (as she passed the exam to her first choice junior college), and kept to herself. She didn't offend anyone, because no one ever knew her.:derpyblob:

If she had reincarnated as Tiara instead of Pryde, she would expect people to love her, because Tiara is the heroine that all the fans worship as a complete angel. However, the Pryde from the game is a character that no one likes: if you get 100 fans from the game in one room, not one of them will like Pryde, and they will hate her even more depending on how many of the love interests they do like.

She still hates Pryde, so she cannot imagine anyone liking her as more than a friend, family member, or employer.::blobcatsad::

Which brings us to the second reason, her precognition. This is not a story where changing the future is easy. The more immutable a future is, the clearer the precognition of this event is. Rosa foresaw Pryde as a wicked villainess for six years: it happened. It happened even after Pryde regained memories from her previous life and became the ideal heir. It was inescapable, it was not a flaw in raising. :blob_teary:

Tiara foresaw Pryde's death twice, and Rosa foresaw it once, and Pryde, too, knew it was coming because she was waiting for it.

If Arthur hadn't brought back information about Adam's special ability, they would have killed Pryde. Arthur was the only person strong enough, physically and emotionally, to keep Pryde contained: when he was crippled, killing Pryde was their only option. Pryde formed an alliance with a country that promoted slavery, that wanted to enslave their entire kingdom. She overthrew Rosa, Albert and Wes, sealed Gilbert and Stayle's special abilities, and invited the Rajah Empire to invade her country.

She also fed Gilbert information, telling him exactly what would happen if he didn't stop her. Pryde wanted to die: it would have been a mercy.:meowsadlife:

So Pryde never considered that any of the capture targets would love her. She knew they liked her (as friends or family), but when she changed, they would only hate her. They will kill her. Same with the Knight Order: they would be loyal to her until she endangered the people, and then they would rise up against her. It was their duty.

They will only be happy when the "evil" Pryde is gone.

And of course, Val is definitively not a lolicon, so Pryde never anticipated him becoming interested in her. Of course, Val never expected it, either. :meowpuffyblush:

Our Pryde isn't going to understand anybody's feelings until they actually confess. Words are important. :blob_hands:

So Tenichi-sensei released a fourth Q&A (previous three found here) September 4th, to celebrate the anime PV getting 400 million views. I have already read this one, but I've been meaning to share it here with you.

    Q. If we compare the land of Freesia to Japan, how large is it?
    A. This is an excerpt from the data that was also communicated to the anime.

The land area of the Kingdom of Freesia is approximately 10 million km
= approximately 25 times that of Japan.

(The distance a horse can travel in a day, etc., differs from reality due to the circumstances of the fantasy game world.)

    Q. When did Captain Colm start talking to new recruits as actively as he does now? Is it after he became a Captain?
    A. After joining the main army. Until he joined the main unit, he was so focused on himself that he didn't have much time to interact with his fellow recruits.
After successfully enlisting, he became involved with both the knights and new recruits.

In particular, Colm became more active in interacting with new recruits who were his former colleagues, asking if there was anything he could do to help them, and asking them for advice. This custom still exists today.

Even though he was a bit curt, Colm had always been polite when interacting with others, so the new recruits didn't feel rebellious when he suddenly started to show them kindness.

Some knights and recruits believe that this is due to the influence of Alain, whom he became friends with right after the entrance exam.

    Q. Does Captain Colm's older brother Vincent have a wife and children? If so, please tell us about her appearance, age, personality, familiarity, etc., as a simple profile is fine.
    A. Vincent has a fiancée. She is a woman from an earl's family, and has dark green hair, blue eyes, white skin, and freckles. She usually hides her freckles with makeup, but she is still a beautiful woman.

Colm agrees that she is a suitable person in terms of personality to be his brother's wife.

The engagement was decided by both parents. She is 8 years younger than Vincent and is at a good age to get married, but she was forced to wait because Vincent's policies are different from those of Vincent's parents.

Both Vincent and his fiancée intend to get married in the future.

    Q. Is the seating order fixed at the drinking party for the Guard Knights (Alain, Colm, Eric, Arthur + Stayle, Harrison)? I'd like to know if there is an order
    A. It's not fixed, but in most cases Alain, the room owner, is in the middle, and Colm and Eric are on either side of him.

Stayle always sits next to or beside Arthur.

Arthur either sits next to Stayle as a friend (because it's easy to tap him on the shoulder), or sits next to or across from Harrison to be considerate as a member of the squad.

Harrison prefers a seat at the far end where he won't get caught up in the conversation, but rather at the end near Arthur.

    Q. There are many people who scold Pryde, but Pryde herself seems especially afraid of being scolded! I would like to know the rankings of who she thinks (is the scariest). May I ask you about the top 5 main characters?
    A. This ranking is based on `"I'm afraid of being scolded by them'' rather than "I'm scared when they get angry.''

    5th Place > Tiara
    4th Place > Wes
    3rd Place > Rosa
    2nd Place > Albert
1st Place > Roderick (me: to absolutely no one's surprise!)

    Q. There are often depictions of the Ivy siblings inspecting the castle grounds, but do Pryde-sama, Tiara-chan and Stayle-kun ever go on a trip to inspect the castle town?
    A. Yes, they are. Now that Pryde is officially staying at home, Tiara and Stayle are going on inspections alone (read: without Pryde) more often. Since they can't show Pryde, they're working hard to support the people and maintain public order through inspections. It is also part of their official duties.

Pryde occasionally goes out with Tiara and Stayle, and they like going out with the three of them the most.

    Q. For Arthur, Alain, Colm, Eric, Harrison, Roderick, and Clark, where is their favorite place in the Knights Order building, where they feel most at ease?
    A. Arthur → "On the roof of the Knight's Hall" You can see the knights in action, and unlike other facilities, you can enter at any time.

Alain → "The Training Ground" Choose a particularly open area with no one around.

Colm → "My room" A place where he can take his time and think quietly.

Eric → "Explosives Training Area" is a recent favorite. Eric especially likes it during the late hours.

Harrison → "Unarmed Combat Training Area" One corner of it is so memorable that Harrison still feels the most calm when he thinks about it.

Roderick → "Observation Deck" This is a place where you can oversee the entire practice field of the knights exercise.

Clark → "Knight Commander's Room" Of course, Clark has a Vice Commander's room, but the room where Roderick is working is more calming. Clark stays there longer than he would in his own room.

    Q. How tall are Pryde's heels? Also, how many cm can Pryde wear? If it's different for Kimihika, I'd like to know that too.
    A. It is 2 to 3cm.

7cm was easy for Kimihika's Pride to move in, but her favorite was 13cm.

    Q. I would like to ask about Eric and Colm from Bonus C of the light novel's 7th volume. Do these two people usually have breakfast together on other days? Also, I don't think we see much conversation between the two in the story, but are these two on good terms?
    A. They're pretty good friends now. For breakfast, when you're lining up to pick up your meal, it's best to have a chat with the person you were talking to before you, or even a knight standing nearby, or if there's someone you know who's sitting next to an empty seat. Both Colm and Eric often eat their meals together. Of course, there are also knights who eat alone and knights who eat with a certain partner.

So Colm and Eric share meals together when the timing is right. Since they became Knights of the Royal Guard, they have had more things in common, so they talk more often, but even before that they talked about things.

    Q. If you have decided on the twins' favorite food, please let me know.
    A. Dios likes omelet rice. Curi's favorite is tomato risotto.

The rice in the Freesia Kingdom's omelet rice is more like risotto than paella, so the twins' tastes are somewhat similar.

    However, Dios prefers cream-based risotto.

    Q. What kind of job would the characters from LasTame have if they were to have a job in modern times?
    A. I will answer based on the case where they are completely ordinary people in modern Japan, with no special abilities and different from a modern princess.

    Pryde → Undercover investigator
    Style → Prosecutor
    Arthur → Detective
Gilbert → Company management, volunteer organization management
    Val → Gangster
    Leon → Politician
    Cedric → Model
    Alain → Self-Defense Force
    Colm → Lawyer
Eric → Works at a police box

    Q. In Ocharake Tokiku, on September 1st, when Pryde was doing a live commentary of the anime on X (Twitter), she said, "Val came in while I was taking a nap the other day." What episode was this?
    A. Thank you for enjoying our official account!

"Val came over the other day while I was taking a nap."
"I was taking a nap in the garden, so he saw me lying flat on the grass."
"The Royal Guard had to wake me up."
"I woke up in a hurry and greeting him saying, 'Thank you for your hard work,' with lots of grass and leaves tangled in my hair, and he pointed his finger at me and burst out laughing... ..."

Pryde was about to say that. Also, every time Pryde does commercials, she'll sometimes talk about innocent things, so I hope you'll watch over her warmly.

    Q. The Kingdom of Freesia is a Queen system, but have there been any queens who have had concubines in addition to the royal family?
    A. As a premise, there is no concubine system in the Kingdom of Freesia.

On top of that, there was. There was a queen who had multiple male concubines. (Me: The phrasing here was weird, so I'm guessing that there was in the past?)

    Q. This is a question I would like to ask now that the infiltration inspection of the school is over, but did you think about a development where it would become public that Pryde was infiltrating the school as Jeanne?

Also, if you had thought about it, how would they find out?

    A. I had decided on the flow of the story before I started the second part, but at the time I also thought about how a large number of businessmen targeting Ray would invade the school.

Both Brad and Powell were inside the school, and Pryde thought they were trying to wipe out the underworld businesses before they caused any major damage...but even if Pryde didn't come out, the Royal Guards would wipe them out.
→In fact, even Harrison alone can wipe them out with a quick attack.
→Before that, even a single knight in front of the school gate will not allow them to invade. So I stopped doing it.

Incidentally, in this case, Pryde and her friends left the school the same day, after their true identity was revealed.

    Q. In the fourth volume of the light novel, it was mentioned that most of the things needed for the camp were covered by the main knights, and I think this included preparing meals.

Since it is possible to prepare meals that can be served to the royal family, does this mean that cooking is included in the knights' training?
If so, at what level is it acceptable?

    A. Thank you for reading my newly written book!

In some cases, when the royal family goes out on an outing, a chef may accompany them and serve the royal family.

Knights acquire this training item as a camping technique. Camping may be necessary on expeditions. This is a required subject for those from aristocratic backgrounds who have never cooked.

Knights sometimes serve food along with the food they bring to the royal family (such as fine bread and processed meat). The same goes for volume 4.

It's assumed that it's just a poor camp meal and that expectations are not high, so if you can make a flavorful soup with the set, you'll pass.

As a knight, being able to handle wild animals and fish with a knife and determining which wild plants are edible is a good camping technique.

    Q. In the story, it seems that the range and operation of special abilities increases with age, but I would like to know if any of the characters in the story develop their abilities, early episodes, or failures. (Preferably Colm, Harrison)

How old was Captain Colm when he acquired the special ability of superhuman strength? I would also like to know if there are any incidents or episodes that occurred before I was able to use it properly.
    A. Colm
was 10 years old when he gained the special ability of superhuman strength.

He broke the cup over and over again until he knew what it felt like to use his special ability consciously or not. Until he got used to it, Colm wasn't allowed to use high-end ceramics and tableware for a while.

Colm often broke the desk drawers in my room, so they had to rebuild the entire desk several times.

Colm can adjust it well now, but back then it was 0 or 100.

    • After developing his special ability, Harrison repeatedly moved at high speed, but he lost his footing and fell down. Unable to stop at the destination, he falls on his head. There were many things like that. Harrison also collided head-on with an obstacle.

Originally, he was in an environment where he was often injured, but even after he gained special abilities, his face and entire body continued to be covered in scars from falls and collisions.

Also, even though Harrison was originally in an environment where he was in a state of starvation for a long time, he almost starved to death several times because he kept practicing high-speed movement too much. (me: face-palming so hard right now.)

Nowadays, Harrison eats whenever he feel hungry, so he am aware of how much he eats. However, if he catches a cold, his hunger will be paralyzed, so he won't eat as much and his condition will likely get worse.

    • Fortunately, there were few major accidents for Stayle because there were ability restrictions at the time (me: as his ability grew stronger with age), but there were many times when things that came in contact with him were unintentionally teleported and destroyed. He himself has accidentally fallen on a table or into a lake. For this reason, his mother strictly told him to never go near the well until he got used to it.

Nate loves inventing things and has caused several explosions. He didn't really care about getting himself injured, but his father and mother were once slightly injured while protecting him. For this reason, Nate now tries not to make inventions that are likely to explode, such as flash bombs or smoke bombs, when people are present, even if they don't have special abilities. Nate didn't even do it in front of his uncle so as not to get him involved.

    Q. How does Arthur's power to cure all illnesses affect things like germs and cancer?
    A. Basically, if something is in a state of "disease'' = "having an adverse effect on the body,'' it can be nullified or healed.

Whether it is harmful or harmless to Arthur's body determines whether it has an effect or not.

Arthur can drink alcohol until he gets drunk, but if the intoxication affects his health, it resets.

Allergies cannot be cured, but the symptoms caused by allergies can be temporarily relieved.

Sleeping pills and anesthesia can also be effective for Arthur, as long as they are used in dosages that do not harm the health of the body.

This work is based on this understanding.

However, the author is not a medical professional, so please forgive me if there are any inaccuracies or inconsistencies.

    Q. In the battle to retake Princess Pryde, she came one step closer to killing Prince Leon, but what would have happened if she hadn't received help from the Merry Family (including third parties other than the Merry Family)? Or? A match between the two? I would like to know if there is anything you would like us to know, including the ending and sequel. (me: I personally find it adorable that this person calls Val, Sefek and Kemet the Merry Family.)
    A. Leon's heart had been gouged out.

Until his death, Leon does not hold a grudge against Pryde and continues to think of Anemone and her salvation. With the last of his strength, he lifts Pryde's hair over her ear and dies.

Pryde is saved by Tiara and is later stopped from committing suicide, but even after the war ends, she is unable to recover. She thinks only about Leon and is overwhelmed with guilt. Due to her strong wishes, she continues to remain holed up in the remote tower.

After about six months, the Merry family will steal her away from the tower.

    Q. There have been many ceremonial costumes and knightly costumes, but I would like to know which costume the main men thought was the best costume worn by Pryde-sama.
    A. Stayle → Dress for the second part of the recapture battle celebration party (the strongest)
Arthur → Combat uniform (the coolest)
Gilbert → Tiara's costume for the 16th birthday celebration and Pride's 19th birthday celebration. (It reminded Gilbert of the old Rosa and made him smile)
Val → Nightgown (the most sexy)
Leon → Dress for the second part of the recapture battle celebration party (the dress I chose)
Cedric → Dress for the victory party of my country (Princess of Hanazuo)
Alain → Battle uniform (overwhelmingly ideal)
    Colm → Investiture costume (divine)
Eric → Investiture costume (I'll never forget it)
Harrison → Ragged dress at the cliff incident (it was the best, the most beautiful)

    Q. A map appeared in the anime, but is that the entire "world"? Or is there something else beyond the ocean?

What kind of country does Anemone Kingdom import weapons from?

    A. There are other continents as well.

The Anemone Kingdom is the largest trading nation on the continent, as it handles excellent weapons and imported goods from countries on other continents across the ocean.

    Q. I would like to hear the backstories of the characters currently appearing.
    A. When I was thinking about the character Cedric, I knew from the beginning that he would fall in love with Tiara, but at the time I also thought about making him a so-called Ken couple.

Cedric loves his brothers, and Tiara loves her sister and brother, and they are the only ones who get annoyed and say to each other, "My brother and sister are better than yours.'' However, due to Tiara's future development and Cedric's rapid growth plans, we decided on the current state.

    • When I watched the anime, I remembered that the "rumor of someone with special powers that can heal illnesses'' that Arthur told Gilbert about at the time, Arthur was usually the culprit.

When Arthur went to visit a regular uncle who lived in the neighborhood at his mother's request, he was asleep, so Arthur put down the farewell food and changed the wet towel on his forehead without waking him up and came back. Arthur touched him and healed him when he changed the towel.

It was a severe cold for the old man, and he was the type of person who would stay sick for several days when he caught a cold, so when he recovered in a day, he laughed and said, ``Perhaps someone with a special ability to heal illness has appeared," which even reached Arthur's ears as a rumor.

    Q. The knights' clothes are white, so dirt and blood stains are noticeable, and I think it's difficult to remove the stains. How do the knights wash their clothes? Will there be a dedicated maid or laundry maid assigned? I'm worried about how the dirt will come off, as it looks like their heads are covered in blood and dirt from the daily training.
    A. The castle's laundry maid comes to collect the items and wash them regularly.

Also, when a large amount of dirty items are generated due to a big battle or mission, laundry maids come to collect them.

When the clothes get dirty from other duties, the knights either wash them themselves, or, depending on the number of recruits, they wash them together. Even people from aristocratic backgrounds like Colm have had the experience of washing their uniforms when they were new recruits.

All of the knights can do it themselves, thanks to the fact that they learned how to take care of the main unit's uniforms when they were new recruits.

Recruits cannot easily buy new uniforms, so they are carefully reused along with spares. After Eric started getting serious and aiming for the main team, he got dirty more and more every day, and it was a pain to wash it. Alain was once warned when he was a new recruit.

Before Roderick became the knight commander, there were very few main knights who washed their uniforms themselves, no matter how dirty they were. They basically left it to the new recruits. Now, knights like Alain and Arthur, who often get dirty, wash their clothes frequently and reuse them.

The Royal Knights take pride in their uniforms, and since personal taste is important in the eyes of the people, they are allowed to receive new uniforms as much as they want. When it is very dirty or damaged, they throw it away without washing it and get a new one. Harrison often throws it away every time he's on a mission where he's bathed in blood.

    Q. What is the most dangerous special ability, both past and present? I would be happy if you could teach me about various vectors. (Ethically, in terms of ability, how it is used...)
    A. I will answer by name of the person. (Even with the same special ability, the scope and excellence of it vary depending on the person...)

Adam's special ability is the best overall. Either way, it is a special ability that disrupts people's lives, and it is also suitable for brainwashing.

In the sense that nations compete for it, it is Gilbert and Arthur's special ability. Especially for Arthur, I think that as long as he is alive, there will be no end to war. Corpses are also targeted by other countries, thinking that even if they become corpses, they may be effective.

Stayle's special ability is especially effective for mass murder. Next after him is Ray.

    Q. I don't think anyone would know that Gilbert's special ability allows him to manipulate other people's ages unless he tries it, but who did he try it on and when did he find out?
    A. Gilbert learned that he could do it to other people too when Gilbert read a book about the special ability to manipulate age, but after that he secretly experimented with lower-class vagrants sleeping on the streets several times.

Gilbert hadn't encountered anyone with special abilities, but he has tried rejuvenating old people to their teens. They were originally on the verge of death and passed away without being able to stop coughing or shaking, and after they died, he could no longer manipulate their age and was unable to return them to the original age.

As a result, Gilbert buried the body with care, both as a token of gratitude for learning a lot about his special abilities, and as compensation for not being able to save them and letting them die in a mischievous shape.

    Q. When Pryde and her friends tour the castle town, do they ever talk to each and every citizen like Leon? I would like to ask you about their sense of distance from the public as a public official.
    A. Yes, but Pryde tends to talk to the people at places they visit and the people at the shops. Like Leon, Pryde mainly focus on "listening'' rather than "enjoying conversation.''

    Q. Did Tiara-chan and Stayle-kun ever fight when they were young?
→Yes. Stayle's usual bad mouth angers Tiara, and Tiara, who cannot win in serious arguments, ends up pulling Stayle's ears and cheeks.
→Stayle finally apologizes, and Tiara apologizes in return. It usually flows like that.

The reason for the fight is Stayle making fun of Tiara. Or, there are many fights caused by Stayle's one-sided hostility toward people whom Tiara and Pride consider to be "good people" (social people, upper class members, etc.).

"That person was kind, wasn't he?" "That's right! I definitely want to get along with him."
→ "They're just a marquis family, so there's no need for my sister and Tiara to get along. Anyway, they're trying to socialize or something."
    "Nii-sama‼︎‼︎"

``Nii-sama, you made friends with the person from earlier!''
→ ``He's the son of a high-ranking person. I think he's judging me now that I'm your brother-in-law. Deep down, anyway.''
    "Nii-sama!''

When Tiara gets angry with Stayle, it rarely escalates into a fight. Tiara apologizes immediately, and Stayle forgives her right away because his sister is cute.

    Q. How close are the relationships between Pryde and Tiara and the aristocratic daughters? Even if they don't go out as friends, do they have tea parties, and do people seem to think of us as friends.
    A. Yes. They receive many invitations to tea parties, dinner parties, parties, etc. The sisters often participate as social groups until the recapture battle, and Tiara has many friends who love each other.

Pryde stops at "I want to be friends, but...'' and relationships, especially with women, tend to take a couple of steps back. There is no one Pryde is as close to as Lotte and Marie.

That's why Amulet is a special girl now.

    Q. The ability to predict is said to appear "especially for women,'' but can men also be gifted with it? In the case of it only appearing in women, what happens to the succession to the throne if the children are only boys?
    A. Yes. When only a male child was born, a prince had precognitive powers and succeeded to the throne. He was a king who ruled the country admirably.

As a result, there was a growing awareness throughout the country that precognitive abilities were a sign of the royal family and of those chosen as the heir to the throne.

    Q. I get the impression that Kemet and Sefek eat a lot at Leon and Tiara's places, Bale-san's shop, the inn in Veronica Kingdom, and on their first visit in the Modern Princess (me: AU extra series), but are they really big eaters?
    A. The limit values for both of them are average to slightly below average.

Because of the habit of living in the lower class, when they have a lot to eat or when they have a feast, they eat until they are full, so they often eat to the limit more than children of ordinary people.

In particular, Bale's store, Leon and Tiara's are recognized as an all-you-can-eat feast.

Usually, they can get by with a light meal when staying at an inn. The only treats they have are when Val is in a good mood or wants to pamper them.

New Year's visit and festivals are times when the two of them want to eat as much as they can, so they both want to eat until their small bellies are full.

    Q. Please tell me the heights of Sefek and Kemet. Since my children are growing rapidly, I would like to know their height at the time they entered Division 2 school. If there is another setting, I would be able to make the anime even more moving if you could tell me about the time when they met Val and the time when they were captured for human trafficking.
    A. This is about the heights of Kemet and Sephek.

When they was 3 and 7 years old when they met Val, when thet was 7 and 11 years old when they met Mr. Pride, and now in Part 2.

Furthermore, at what age will Kemet be able to catch up to Sefek's height and overtake her...?

→I can't answer whether Kemet can catch up or not...
    [When they met Val]
    Sefek is about 126 cm,
    Kemet is about 92 cm

[At the time of human trafficking]
    Sefek is about 152 cm,
    Kemet is about 121 cm

    [Part 2]
    Sefek is about 160cm
    Kemet is approximately 139cm

In the anime, the height and appearance of the characters are unified in some cases for various reasons such as making it easier for new viewers to see, but I hope you enjoy it with that in mind.

    Q. This is about anime voice actors.
When making the decision, did you have a chance to listen to sample voices and give your opinions? All of the voice actors were too similar to my image... Did you have a tour of the recording? If you have visited, I would like to hear any stories that left an impression on you.

    A. It was truly amazing and exceeded my expectations. I'm still shocked.

The author participated online. There are also some characters for whom we have sample voices.

There are a lot of wonderful episodes, but there are many that I don't know if I want to talk about, so I can't go into details, but I'll just talk about a few innocuous episodes...

    • As for Tiara's voice, Haruka Tomatsu
When the author told him what he wanted the voice to sound like during the recording, he blurted out in outrageous Japanese, "I want it to be a little louder...'' Haruka Tomatsu cheerfully responded while laughing with the directors, and that became the cute and powerful Tiara from the second episode.

It's exactly as I imagined and I can't thank you enough.

•The sound director was very helpful in translating wishes that the author could not express well to the voice actors in a way that was easy to convey.

Regarding the image of Clark's voice, the author said, ``Sounds like a flower shop...'' and the director translated it as "Gentle!'' That's Toshihiko Seki's gentle Clark. .

    • For all of the main characters at that time, the people in the anime side carefully and proactively checked with the author to confirm the image of the character's voice. They were truly sincere and serious about this work. I am truly grateful.

It is thanks to the sincere work of the anime producers that the voices are exactly as imagined for everyone as well as the creator.

Therefore, the voice of the character is exactly as imagined!! ︎Anime is amazing! If you feel this way, I would really appreciate it if you could send a letter or email with your words of praise to the anime producers.

It's all thanks to the anime production staff OLM and the cast. I can only thank you so much.

    Q. What do Robert's sons call Eric and Keith?
    A. They are now called "Eric-san" and "Keith-san."

When they were young, they thought it was okay to call him "Uncle," so they tried to call him that, but in the end, Robert and his wife called him by his first name and "san," so the children started calling him that, too.

    Q. Is there a most important thing for each character, or something that they always carry with them?
    A. Among the characters that can be revealed at the moment...

    Their most important things are:
Pryde → The rose brooch (I heard from my father that my mother gave it to me when I was young, but I don't remember it)
Arthur → The sword used in the investiture ceremony, and letter
    Alain → Favorite sword
    Tiara → Single earring
Harrison → The sword that was given by Clark just before the investiture ceremony (because he only had the new recruit's supply even though he needed it for the investiture ceremony)

The things that they keep with them are:
Stayle → Glasses (on his person), a pen, and some cards
    Eric → A crimson gun
Colm → A hand mirror given to him by his brother
Val → A card he received from Pride (I don't have anywhere else to keep it)
Leon → A pressed purple flower in his notebook and weapons including a small handgun
Cedric → He wears the same cross as his brothers and one ear piercing (he is wearing one)

    Q. What is Tenichi-san's favorite food?
    A. I'm addicted to canned food. I especially love boiled mackerel. It feels like I can become healthy if I just eat it.

I like anything canned, so when I go to the supermarket or food store, I like looking at all the different things. It's delicious, so please try it.

I used to think that Spam didn't taste good, but when I actually eat it, it's really delicious. Please try Champuru.

Maybe I'm the only person who finds these Q&As interesting, but it's fun to read them. How else do you find out that Val's still carrying around that card Pryde gave him in chapter 365.1? :meowpuffyblush:

I want to post a few more Extras this week, and then I'll see about going back to writing those more detailed spoilers for the Villain Arc. :blobkiss:

I wanna know who voiced Stayle as he aged up by Gilbert? Is it also Yuuma Uchida, Maaya's younger brother?

I gotta say, it will take a dozens of arcs to announce who is gonna be the ML for Pryde. I love how you put all your thoughts into Val/Pryde. They really caught my attention. Also wishing that Val will take action on trying to make a move on her before someone is gonna marry Pryde either from one of her fiancé candidates, that will make sense into the future arcs and not an undefined promise when their vow or proposal to runaway has been renewed.

My headcanon about this was Val will had to stop Pryde's wedding if she's gonna command him way earlier secretly where only the two of them knows where Pryde is sensing at the future she cannot control. But Pryde had to chose between two tough choices depends what situation will eventually store in her. I also think it will be the same for Val's if he gonna express his feelings directly to Pryde despite how restrictive the circumstances are for him plus, onto those people who are still find allegations against him, his rank or their connection with Pryde that may lead to a huge affair. Maybe he will try to battle his own inner demons (mind vs heart) what type of scenario he had to deal with (sorry for my ramblings, might be feeling wishy-washy atm to stumble on a thread like this again)

Anyways.. still Val is suitable on becoming a ML but as for now, things are much more bleak to start a route who is the guy that Pryde will end up with and it seems there's been a lack of making Pryde to engage herself into falling love by her own perspective after receiving affection from other guys which is a total mystery. :hmm:

I am dying to look for fanfic like this on how they gonna elope.:blob_pout: Manifesting some more of Val and Pryde interactions that gives us romantic excitement :blobpensivepray: (yeah, I think that's what I'm here for)

I love your headcanon!!! would love to read a fanfic with that premise :blobhighfive:. I also wonder how the other characters would react in such a circumstances like obviously they would be jealous but would they respect Pride's decision if she were to choose to run away with Val? I just can't picture Stale agreeing to let her go no matter how much they try to persuade him.

P.D.: I'm also praying that author-san give us more ValxPride content :blobpensivepray:
