i’m excited to see how it ends, and i’m curious if there will/should be another book based on the messages on the first hundred or so pages of this forum. This book was one of the few to make me cry myself to sleep by the time i finished reading, so im curious to see if the manhua may invoke to same kind of reaction among its readers who may or may not have read the novel. P has proven to be exceptionally talented in regards to illustrating our favorite couple. on a similar note—i would just like to mention that P’s visible improvements in regards to their art makes me very happy. i love how they have learned to express the characters as the story progresses. one thing in particular is maxi’s hair—at the start, it is a bit darker and less curly than more recent episodes and i have come to associate the look of her hair with how she’s feeling/her mental state. like the dreariness of the Croyso estate and her misery weighted the curls down, and the freedom and love she was able to experience in anatol is reflected as her hair grew brighter and more unruly. im not sure if this was intentional or if this has been discussed before, but i think its an entertaining thought
Spoiler: Summary of 174 They were called to join the dragon campaign and the Mage Tower helping them financially. Calto is the leader of the mages on this campaign and Ruth says negative things about his uncle and Calto heard it and pulls his ear. Maxi reunites with her friends, Annette wasn't so excited to join but Sidinia was. Sidina tells Maxt that this dragon are called draconian and there are forty ot fifty of them. Maxi thought they were ten of them. Elliot comes and tells Maxi that the mages need to be in an urgent meeting. So she calls them and half comes. She is in the meeting room and Riftan tells them that Midna has fallen again by the undead. Agnes says they can't wait more longer because the dragon can get power to revive. Riftan makes a plan that the knights and with divine magic goes to Lexos mountains and that the mages stay and do the other half of their part. Maxi forbidden spell will come in handy in this battle as many mages with forbidden spell join in this campaign. Ruth got pardoned for deserting from the Mage Tower. Maxi won't like she will be separated from Riftan but it might be good for her not to go as she will do alot with her skills with the undead in Midna and help many wounded with her healing power's.
Most of these readers FB were upset that Maxi and Riftan didn't had children at the end. Most prefer they had more snu snu than both grow in their relationship.
It just sound like they want drama and hate Riftan Side story still ongoing and I trust KSJ will deliver
MARSEA, that may be so, I just want to say that it is KSj's novel, not that of those girls who mainly like to read snu stories. I think you shouldn't look at these "....." comments. We all know it's a great novel and we love it just the way it is. PattyCakes, I think so too, they don't understand the novel but are just complaining. Really stupid. And I agree with you, KSj will certainly keep their promises and deliver side stories. But that picture today in the new mahnwa chapter was so great.....

And, I also believe KSJ will keep her promises. I'm not a TikTok fan but I often hear that sometimes TIkTok publish false news or well just rumour. I haven't read UTOT manhwa anymore. It's just my opinion, I think P would give at least her own confirmation if she decided to stop working on UTOT. As long as I remember she has her own IG.
Spoiler: Summary of 175 On the meeting table Maxi is upset and voices her concerns. Kuahel is trying to do everything so Maxi might go but at the end Riftan chooses Ruth. Maxi is really upset, she understood he made a reasonable choice but still she really doesn't want to be separated from him. As she walks through a hall in the building, Riftan catches her hand and he saw her face with tears on her face and she doesn't want to speak to him as she doesn't want to argue with him in public. Maxi goes into her room and lays in her bed crying and frustrated and then fee's someone touching her shoulder. Riftan tells her not to cry. Maxi is really upset she is going to be separated from him and if he made that decision concerning her. Is hard for Riftan to make decisions concerning her as him going to lexos mountains and her staying behind in danger with the ghouls. Maxi doesn't want to be separated from Riftan and wants to go with him but she will stay to help with the barriers. Riftan tells isn't wrong for his wife to be out of danger? Maxi resents him but then she doesn't resent him and wants him to return safely. That he will come back. Maxi is upset of being separated from Riftan but Maxi it wasn't an easy choice he made, he was really thinking about you and don't you think he feels the same about being separated from you afar and fighting the dragon and thinking what will happen to you as you also going to be in danger. Riftan would have Maxi in his mind while fighting the dragon and Maxi will be in constant worry. Maxi he will return, Riftan is the one to keep his promises, he will do anything to finish the battle fast as he wants to return with Maxi have a peaceful life with you in Anatol. Maxi character is growing more.
Thanks Marsea! Another chapter that shows how their relationship has grown a lot. Maxi was emotional and crying at first when she knew Riftan is not bringing her to Lexos Mountains, but when she heard Riftan’s logical explanations on why he’s not bringing her, she abides him. Great communicatiion between them now. I love that Riftan would always check her reactions whenever she is mad or sad and run after her to console her, which shows he really care about her feelings
According to last year's Summeries, there are 210 chapters, so there are still around 35 chapters until the second book ends with the final epilogue (210).
I'm still on book 2, part 4 (kindle) and I keep noticing how beautifully detailed everything is. This novel is truly magical and we all love it. I have one consolation for you: you can read it again and again as often as you want.
Yesss but I kinda don’t want to read the beginning because riftan and maxi weren’t that „close“ and I don’t really like reading it. That’s also the reason why I prefer book 2 over the first one. Maxi and Rif just seem so much more mature. I also like the fact that Maxi has found her passion and is a really good mage now
Spoiler: Summary of 176 Maxi wanted to stay at Vesmore so she could say Riftan goodbye. With her smart thinking she tells Cedric is better to stay close to Vesmore castle as the dragon is close by and can wake up anytime. Cedric makes a list who are staying to guard Vesmore castle and has Maxi on top of4 the list as Riftan leaves tomorrow to Lexos and as she being the commander wife, she would love too see him off. She's with the other mages making healing potions, medicine for the army. It was better to sleep the night there than stay the whole night with Riftan as she would cling to him and doesn't want him to go off. The next day she's see all the army forming from different kingdoms and then she spots Riftan and goes to see him. Riftan questions her why didn't she came to sleep last night and was she still upset? Maxi holding her tear and notices the trinket she made for him was tied on his bastard sword. She tells him why she didn't slept last night. She will be waiting for him. Both weren't having a hug or kiss as a goodbye as don't want to cling to each other and won't let go. Maxi made him all night a fore mana stone and medicine to take even though she knows Ruth is going to do more. Maxi goes and then she feels someone getting her arm and Riftan takes her to a private place and he always wanted to day this 3 years ago but didn't had the como that she's proud of her. Maxi couldn't contain her tears and hugs him and those words truly mean alot to her. Finally Riftan said those words. Maxi always wanted to hear those words from her husband and Riftan must have regretted not saying 3 years ago and now he had the courage to say it. Both almost weren't going to have a heartfelt goodbye, war and is cruel and unpredictable and if both didn't hug or kiss and if something were to happen in the midst of war Both would be regretting of not saying proper goodbyes. It's better to have memorable moments of saying goodbye to your hubby and wife than being stoic as in war death is always close then Both would ve regretting not having together their last day as a cherished memory. At the finally Maxi hugged Riftan. Riftan is going to cherish the stone that made for him.
