personally, i cant see kuahel with “dark” hair or much of any curl pattern, which may be a preference stemming from a majority of the fanart (and what i believe is an offixial picture by P) ive seen of him! funnily enough, i hadn’t been aware that richt had super light hair until perhaps a month of so ago - in my head, he always had dark hair, and it was so jarring coming to the realization that i was conpletely wrong! i also have a question.. about how much is one kevette? ive heard its anything from a foot’s length to multiple meters long, and everyone seems to have their own personal belief on what a kevette is equivalent to…

I too saw Kuahel’s hair as more of a light yellow blonde. However, since lighting often times changes the perception of color through scenes, his hair would seem to be darker in more obscure settings (or with less light) and lighter in bright settings. So it makes sense that his dark blonde hair shines golden in the sun and seems more like a brown in darker places (ex:inside a building) I do see Kuahel having some slight waves on his hair. Not too defined. Yeah definitely Breston gives dark, villainous, savage, imposing vibes. We usually associate that with darker characteristics. Also,His attitude & way of acting gets compared to the wolf he wears as a pelt (since he’s from the north). So I certainly get why it’s a surprise to have Richard Breston as an Ash-blond ,nearly white haired individual. 1 kevette is equivalent to 30 centimeters (cm). For example 6 kevettes equal to 180 cm. In feet(ft) it would be 5 foot 11 inches.
Hi K1t-y, I share your opinion with Kuahel and also with Brecht. But I have to admit that almost white hair was not that rare among the Vikings. Their hair colors were red and white and of course their beards. Evil characters are more “dark” in my mind. I also associate Kuahel with an agile, slim body, but neither weak nor with a dancer's figure. He is a good fighter, with high intelligence and an alert man. And yes, I see him as more blonde with jade green eyes. Anytime I don’t blame you, most of the fan arts have him with very light hair. So far I’ve seen a couple that show a real likeness to Kuahel’s traits from the novel. Yes he’s described to be cold and severe with a chilling gaze. He’s just so unbothered
Please don't get me wrong, I like the figure of Kuahel and I like the picture (in blonde), not because of the hair color, but rather because of the whole figure and facial expressions. I can't imagine him as a pretty boy or a dancer figure.
But he describe as beautiful he Is not a very masculine man even sejour mistake him as a woman when he was in his late teens.but you can image him in anyway you want i also image him more manly.Ican't really wait to see him fully in the manhwa.
Honestly me too hahah I see him a bit more masculine. At least his facial features more manly. Sometimes I feel like (since these are description from Maxi’s perspective) maxi is accustomed to brawny, strong, broad and big men back in anatol that a man with Kuahel’s figure and countenance surprised her. His body figure I imagine him to be like the actor Tom Blyth who plays young Snow in the new hunger games prequel , and the character count Vronsky played by actor Aaron Taylor Johnson in Anna Karenina.
Yes, that's pretty much how I could imagine the characters, a Mix of him and Gabel. I just like the drawing (that I posted) so much, especially the face, a really good looking man. That's why I can't imagine that the drawing is meant to be Brecht
I agree he is a really good looking man If this were a different book, and Breston the main character, then we would be all over him I feel like all the men in the UTOT universe are handsome(hot). It’s just that Riftan captured our hearts first In that fan art image of Richard Breston, the wolf pelt, his hair, and if you zoom in closer his eyes as well, give him away as a northerner from the Breston line. Although, I would’ve preferred to see him as more of an imposing broader figure. He’s taller than Riftan, and as a northerner Richard is supposed to be bulkier like Hebaron Nirta (who has ties to the north as well). Other than body mass, Breston’s fan art is a gorgeous fella
I think in manhwa his body figure will be more like gable Want to see how P will draw him in manhwa.,I like riftan character but I never had a crush in him I always liked kuahel Lol.he is cruel and cold but I like how how hw trust in maxi and belive in her ability. He is not sexist even thought he lived in meddival time.he saved maxie many time but never saw her as helpless
In that sense, I agree. That's why I thought the fan image doesn't fit Brecht. The Viking ancestors were mostly big and strong and rather rough in their dealings with others (that fits Brecht very well). But fanart is usually drawn the way the artist imagines it, even if the description is different. I also agree that all men in the UTOT universe are handsome, one like the other, each in their own way. In the last manhwa chapter, Gabel came into his own very well, I think
Oh yes I agree . To each their own, whatever works for them. For me, my imagination conjured an image of Riftan, maxi and the other characters very differently to what they look like in the webcomic (drawn by P). Now, when I read UTOT, the characters look as a mix of both my imagination and what P illustrates them as. I also feel like someone else’s fan arts really help bring to life and to cement that character’s likeness to existence. So for us that see a whole movie or images in our minds when reading, those fan arts contribute in creating a physical print of the many details in a story. I agree, Gabel looked exquisite Lord help those men if we all somehow got sucked into The UTOT universe we would eat them all up
They would have to hide with the monsters to get away from us away from what we have planned for them
Spoiler: Summary of 182 Maxi across the snowfield she saw black shriveled limbs and around yellow bones of skelton. Maxi body tensed up after watching the grim scene. Annette asks Maxi if she can put the Golem in the spot. Maxi tells her more further. Maxi was going to dig but then Garrow helps his lady and digs a big hole. Maxi puts inside the Golem and uses her pinky finger and throws blood. Garrow dugs and cover the hole. Maxi and Garrow goes far away. Maxi wait if the golems are going to work. For a while it wasn't functioning and Maxi was upset that her plan didn't work. She felt almost to cry. Suddenly ice spikes were felling from the sky and Garrow told Maxi to put a barrier up. She put her shield up but she had an agonizing pain that the ice spikes hit on her shoulders and thighs. The shield could hold a monster attack from behind but not if they come in front of them. Garrow protected her lady from monsters and him and the knights were fighting with them . Maxi hears a very stomping loud sound and it was a gigantic monster. Garrow makes it to a stop and the monster felled backwards but then suddenly she sees the pillar up and the earth is getting shaken up but what she sees isn't a pillar but an arm. Maxi and all of them are running, Gabel protecting Maxi and Annette. Maxi was running and wasn't going to stop to hold her breath and she running while in pain. The golems are coming out and they are more bigger than these monsters. Maxi and all of them made to the other side. One of the Golem got the leg of a monster and they crushed them as they are insects. Maxi her hard work paid of at the beginning she thought her plan failed but it took a while to take into fruition. She is going to be famous than she already is, and bards are going to write and sing more songs for the read scarlet lady and for saving day. Garrett disability wasn't his weakness, he protected his lady and was in awe with her creation of the golems. Now how is the Dristan princess going to see and feel that Maxi plan function, she was being all negative of her runes as it was taking days. As the golems are crushing the monsters as they are toys, and with the golems Maxi made the war will end in no time and she saved the castle from falling enemies hand.
