She feels like running to him at the Lexos mountain and is afraid to loose to him but then she gets confident and Riftan will come back to her. Maxi is walking in deep ankle snow and her knights dig a hole to put the Golem and they dug it and she took her knife and was about to cut her pinky to throw blood but then Garrow pushes her and insifigcant monsters came. Agnes tells everyone to get back and Garrow are battling the monsters. Maxi wonder how the heck did they find them. Gabel and Garrow are fighting the monsters. Gabel tells Garrow to take the mages away from here. Maxi and Sidinia are thrown out my a monster that's invisible. Sidina was thrown out far from her but then she notices light in the sky. Riftan succeed in defeating the dragon. She kills the monster that it was in front of her with the sword. Is worries of Sidinia and sees her laying down unconscious. Now the war is over and finally they have victory. Riftan succeed in defeating Sektor the second time but this time he did quickly than the first time. Maxi used her sword on the draconian as how she was taught by her superiors. Garrow did the final blow and she must have blood splattered on her whole body. Maxi felt to run to Lexos mountains where Riftan was and if she did, it would been her death, she was having intrusive thoughts of Riftan not making it back but then she had her spirits up and started thinking positive that he will come back. Sektor has really majestic power that it can kill a whole city. Now the coalition army won the war and the undead became dust, Riftan can go back to his beloved and Maxi can finally have peace and rest and even the knights need rest, the war was really heavy on them.
It's been a while since I've read the beginning of book 1. When Maxi first arrived at Anatole Castle, the castle was a mess, cracked here and there, and it wasn't organized, and I wondered if he was comparing Anatole Castle to Riftan, which was beautifully changed by Maxi's touch.

She notices an undead army is going to Lexos mountain and is so concern of them reaching the campaign party. Garrow tells her it was their duty to protest Vesmore castle and Riftan defeated the dragon it wouldn't be hard for them to defeat a sizeable draconian army. The monster Maxi defeated was a ruler as they the rulers and the warriors but the one she defeated was the ruler but he was being controlled by a necromancer but was in weak state but was strong. There are nine still remaining of the one white draconian she defeated. She goes in a room where the two princess are and gets report and Agnes wanted a full report but as Riftan is few words the mission was complete. Maxi is happy that Riftan is safe. The Dristan princess has reports from Aren and the Temple Knights had the heavy blow. Gabel is alone somewhere out the room with Maxi and wanted to give her something and he was sure it was only for her. She received the container and opened and it was tiny white flowers. Maxi was crying of hapiness that the war is over and finally she will see Riftan again. She tends to worry to much as she see the undead army going to the Lexos and should go after them or something would happen to the campaign party. The undead army on their way to the mountains and Riftan and his knights will reach them and defeat them. Her worries of Riftan comes of her having so much love for him and is scared to loose him. Maxi succeeded in defeating a strong monster who is more of leader and has high intelligence, she is going to have so many accolades. Riftan must have climb the mountains and found those flowers and thought of Maxi decided to cut them and put them in the container. Riftan is such a romantic man and has so much love for Maxi.
Hello dear oaties wishing you all a fine weekend ! Today's manhwa chapter was emotionally charged, poor Hebaron, Maxi really put him under pressure. I had to laugh so hard when I saw Hebaron "sweating". And Maxi looks so sweet in trousers and Shirt. But I think next week will be grumpy and things will fly. Poor Maxi and poor knights. You can see it in Riftan's eyes...oh, oh.This will be a fight,but also exciting.
I love today’s chapter too! Maxi looks beautiful and chic in trousers and tunic. Honestly i think her outfit looks great but does anyone know what’s the big belt wrapped on her waist for? Is it to hold stuffs like a dagger etc? Hehe she is so determined to follow the journey despite disapproval from Riftan. And the knights appearing in this chapter are all handsome! I could recognize Hebby and Gabel but who is the other one who volunteered to take the role as Maxi’s personal guard throughout the journey? Is that Elliott? He looks different in this chapter, hotter than before
Maxi’s interactions with the knights are so wholesome. She looked absolutely beautiful I think the brown waist belt was to fasten the shirt to her body. The brown wrist cuffs too. It would be used to not have the fabric loosely hanging. I guess it gives the wearer more shape. I can’t wait to see maxi showcasing her defensive magic (barrier). And Riftan’s reaction to the knights basically ganging up on him in favor of maxi joining the campaign to Livadon. The handsome knight -who offered to protect maxi in case the squires can’t be spared, is not identified. He’s just a young knight who frequently came to the infirmary to get treated. If my memory serves me right, Elliot Charon went with the first group of knights along with Ruth. Cmiiw We keep on getting closer and closer to the rain scene I doubt they will show any real spice but for our sake let’s hope they give us something to appease us
Oh i think u are right! That is not Elliot, Elliot and Ursulyn were sent earlier to north Livadon. Haha i was trying to find Ursulyn in this chapter too, no wonder he is not around . Maxi is wearing a cool stylish belt@girdle but i was thinking maybe it will not be comfortable for her to wear it during a long horseride journey, but i guess it will be fine for her because of course it was made from high quality soft leather and she has flat stomach as well . If it was me then i surely will have problem because my stomach isnt as flat

Hi angel, I think the waist belt is not hard, it could also be intended as chest and tunic support. There were no bras back then, so many women wore such breast belts. I only know the young knight from the infirmary, as SinFulHun already said. It seems what Maxi is wearing might be corset belt. Corset were common in 17th, 18th and 19th century. I believe in the medieval times wasn’t common or corsets weren’t made at the time.
I just love the webtoon latest chapter so i keep rereading it. So proud of Maxi she came a long way and now able to have healthy discussions with the knights and they respected her opinion and considered her. Cant help but feel sad when one of the knights said that what she will go through if she joins the journey to Livadon - that it is going to be an ardous, difficult journey, that they will pass through monsters lairs, that they will need to camp out most of the nights as there will be no carriage or inns to stay in along the journey. And then he asked her whether she can endure such journey because he thought she never face hardships throughout her life which is not true at all because what she endured in Croyso castle siince child until her adulthood was much more worse than that. And her look of determination to join them like she will never take a NO from them is so adorable. Cant wait for the next chapter too! And Riftan’s worries for her safety is so understandable so i dont blame him at all for fiercely refraining her from joining them. Awwh but cant help but feel sad when the webtoon season might end soon and we have to wait for sometime for the new season

The Dristan soliders are rebuilding the city and many of all the soliders were dying out of hunger. She goes to the stable and see how Rem was doing and her mare was really upset for leaving her unattended and if it wasn't for the stable man an accident would occur. Maxi takes her mare out so she can drink water and promises her once they get back home she will give her many carrots and Rem caresses her cheek. She goes to the city square and see a campaign party coming in but it was the knights from Livadon bringing more provisions. Lienna makes a banquet hall due to the victory but Maxi wasn't so interested in the ceremony. She attends and Agnes gives her wine, she takes a sip to it. Agnes was getting drunk. Maxi gets out of the banquet and goes up in a pillar and see outside at the Lexos mountains. Lienna comes and mocks her of pinning over husband's and she even gives her if she wants wine but rejects it. Maxi didn't want to converse with her and decide to leave but then she tells Maxi that she was jealous and she won. Maxi wants to know she had something in the past with Riftan and she explains to her that she would seduce him and he would always rejected her advances. She tells her story at 16 she married a 70 year old and after five years her husband died and met Riftan and fell for him but Riftan would always reject him. Lienna is going to marry a knight who led the supply party. Maxi has the greatest man on earth. Maxi felt a little sorry of Lienna life but tells Agnes about it. Maxi should be cautious as she is forced woman but she must acted this way due to Maxi golems. Maxi would be careful from now on. Maxi see more refugees coming to the city but didn't bother going as for days she has been dissapointed. She goes to a chapel and prays for Riftan safety. It was a raining day and in the chapel a holy relic was hanging a prays for it but then she hears footsteps. She is out in the rain and see a tall figure knight and it was Riftan. Both were wet on their cheeks due to the rain and many couldn't see to the rain. Maxi welcomes him back. A beautiful gentle memory Maxi has of the flowers. Rem must have been bored being inside the stable without sunlight and her master and not having good food and going through many hardships, she wants to go back home to Anatol with her master and eat good food. Riftan was telling you the truth that he didn't had anything with Lienna. The Dristan princess was jealous since the beginning because a noble lady capture his heart and not her and it was lost since the beginning for Lienna. Maxi has been in Riftan heart before he became the greatest man in the world. Lienna isn't the first woman he rejected. If Lienna was already engaged then why did she seduce Riftan and tormented Maxi with jealousy? Nobody can mess with Maxi due to her golem rune another loss for Lienna. Maxi has to be careful with her golem rune as some can used her as for their advantage. Riftan kept his promise of coming back and Maxi is happy with emotions that he finally came back. Sensing that we are almost end to the book.
