Update:Timeskip to eighteen Neris in chapter 75.She is about to graduate and is very rich because of some investment but no one knows.She is very famous because of her beauty,relatives and intelligence so everybody wonders what she will do at the future since she could be an aide to a noble or an academy teacher if she wished so.She is lying she will be a governess to a countryside lady,but in reality she will work under Cledwin.They planned it many years ago and it's more of an partnership and friendship than love at the moment.
They really care about each other but are shy and uncertain about it because both of them have many scars when it's about people.

It is a special winner of the 2021 Greatest Naver Contest on Earth and has received favorable reviews and popularity due to its solid story, detailed composition, and excellent writing skills. However, the illustrations received mixed reviews, but with the cover change, reviews tended to be more favorable.
The Academy Story, which is part 1, feels more like an academy than a romantic drama and portrays things like group bullying in a terrifyingly realistic way.

For me it depends. Is she turning there schemes on their heads or is she purposely and unilaterally attacking them? Thus far she's turning everything they do back on them and I'm okay with that. I'm not okay with deliberate maliciousness though, so can someone spoil if she's goes down that road?

When she arrived,megara servants put her on a coffin and threw it on the river while Megara,Valentin and everybody laughed.
Then once she got out of water,she was forced to drink a bitter tea and eat a mouse.

I came back just to give some crumbs of something I found slightly interestingI saw the illustration of chapter 80 something and I had to see what it was about.So,male lead and female lead went to the graduation party together and were dancing and Megara bumped into male lead and apologized looking pitiful and Neris was petrified because that was exactly what happened in the previous timeline when she danced with her husband in their wedding day and the prince claimed to make love declarations to her while Neris watched.Back to current timeline,Neris can't understand why she feels so scared that this will happen again,she and Cledwyn are not even in a romantic relationship(eye opening moment)
But all he says to megara is a cold "OK",like he feels nothing for her and she is in the wrong for bumping into him.
Btw,I finished my readings so next month I will start reading for real this one as my first k-novel of 2024 and giving summaries of the arcs.♡

• The story starts with the dethronment of the consort crown princess,Neris.Neris was the daughter of a low knight and a former noble lady that is a distant relative of the Elandria family.Neris possessed the special purple jewel eyes that symbolized the elandria family,so when her widow mother asked then for help paying her academy tuition,they helped them,and when Neris mother passed away,they adopted Neris as a daughter.Even so,there was nothing happy about Neris Truide life when she went to the academy.She was mistreated every day by her classmates.Once she became a princess of elandria,she was mistreated by the ducal family and the servants and forced to refine her manners and education in an abusive way.Then one day,she became the wife of the Crown prince as her family decided.And then,in the day of her wedding,the prince fell in love with her old classmate that bullied her,Megara Lyceandros and she had the responsibility of taking care of the Imperial family matters while he fooled around with her.
• Neris lied,schemed and used people on behalf of the elandria ducal family and then for the imperial family,but all that came to her was betrayal once the elandria family fulfilled their long time ambition of becoming an independent kingdom.Once the imperial family got a hold of this,they were furious and Neris was locked in a tower accused of being a spy.Some time after,she heard the guards talking about how the crown prince will receive Princess Valentin Elandria as his new wife.She can hear the fireworks and noise from the celebration and the delegation of elandria in the outside.
• Neris is hurt mentally and physically with her whole body aching from the torture and she wonders if she will be saved now,but then laughs at the ridiculous idea.If the imperial family was bold enough to lock her away,its because they know she is abandoned and so she is separated from elandria.
• She hears someone approaching and her stepsister cheerfully greets her wearing the traditional golden dress of the imperial family that is passed to the consort princess and used to belong to Neris.Valentin always bullied Neris and the sisters couldn't be more differents.Neris is around thirty and because of the torture and dirty,she looks very bad,but she always looked like an old lady with her gloomy expression while Valentin,with her white hair and blue eyes, looked like the image of inoccence with her bright appearance that belonged to a person who was loved by everyone.
• Valentin proceeded to shame Neris and asked if she was expecting Nelruision to save her and says that he is too busy with his new bride.Nelruision was the heir of Elandria and the only one who was kind and took care of her.Neris loved him as a man and even though they couldn't be together,she was sure he knew how she felt.She was the one to pull the strings so he would get engaged to Brigitte,the daughter of the current pope,so the elandria could have the support of the Vatican.When this was decided,Nelruision whispered to her that it was just a political marriage,but now Valentin reveals to her that Nelruision was the one that suggested they used her as an scapegoat while they build their kingdom,so she would hold Valentin position as the consort princess for a while.She reveals that the elandrias were responsible for her mother's early death.
• Neris is angry and devastated by this.She tells Valentin they should at least let her leave by all the work she did for them,but Valentin says that's this isn't possible,since princess Camille told her that she should always see things to the end and told her to poison Neris.Neris is sad again because unlike the other members of imperial family,Camille always acknowledge Neris work and scolded her brother.Valentin becomes annoyed seeing neris beautiful jewel eyes shinning even in this situation and says that after the wedding,she will send Megara to a monastery,so Neris should think of this as a reward since she also hated megara and just die.She tells Nelruision's henchman,Joseph,to hold neris while Valentin feeds her the poison.
• That was how Neris Bisto died,but he felt her body getting lighter and woke up in her childhood bedroom.She thought she was in heaven when she hears her mother's voice and hugged her,but it was too real and she realized she went back in time.Her mother asks if the tears are because she is worried about going to the academy and Neris flinched.The mother confess she is worried about sending her to a place full of noble children too and Neris realizes she never really thought about how heartbreaking it must have been to her mother to reach out to her stranded relatives and send her daughter far away.Neris is twelve years old now and her mother would die a few years after this.When she died in the previous timeline,her mother had been dead for twelve years already.Neris notices that her mother looks very young now and that she looked sickier everytime she went back home and that she probably was being threatened by the elandria to give neris to them.
• She realizes that she can't just say she won't go the academy now and needs to take matter into her own hands so she can protect herself and her mom.She will take revenge.
• All the members of aristocracy must send their children to the noble academy and children from knights can attend only if they can pay the tuition.The Noble academy is divided into Katar(magic,swordmanship,political science...) and Aine(general studies and theology)academy.Most girls attend Aine academy and take general studies to become fluent ladies.The noble academy was founded by princess Katherina,who was a defendant of education,many centuries ago and the town receive the name "kathen" in her honor,with many artists and even the saintess Zakaria giving support,and so the whole economy of the city is centered around the academy.(Sounds a little like hogwarts to me,they even have a hogsmeade)
• She leaves for the academy the next day in a arduous trip and catches everybody eyes as she walks confidently by Kathen city,looking like a lady from a great family even though she dresses humbly,while most young students look confused trying to find the way to the academy.
• A maid sees neris and calls her in a casual manner,but neris rebukes her saying she is the daughter of a knight,so she shouldn't be addressed in this manner and the maid hastily apologizes.She hears the laugh of a young girl coming from a carriage and the girl praises the way Neris handled her maid.(Ngl,I thought she was a villain at first XD)
• They introduce themselves and the girl says her name is Diane McKinnon.Neris don't remember attending the academy with a member of the McKinnon family in the past,and also that they are a noble house recently created and while they are the biggest merchant ship,their influence decreased by the time she was adult,but they still managed to be in the top three.Diane offers to give neris a ride in exchange of her showing the way to the academy and so they go.Neris realizes that Diane is limp and her maid seems worried about her.She thinks it's not an unnecessary worry since children are easy to bully someone different.
• At the academy,students council leader,Crown Prince Abelus Bisto,Neris husband in the past timeline,is giving a speech for the new students.Its about the three warriors that saved the empire.Those three warriors are ancestars of the Bisto,Elandria,and another famimy that wasn't mentioned yet.All those heroes had jewel eyes in a specific color to each family and with special powers,and was common to manifest at least once in every generation,but excluded from the imperial family,it didn't manifest in this way to the other families,with the elandria having their last jewel eyes member one century ago,probably because of this,the bisto family was chosen as the ruler.The current crown prince have blue eyes,and his older sister,Princess Camille does too,which is very rare to happen.Abelus knows that the reason he was chosen as heir instead of his smart older sister or his prudent younger sister,is because of the way he can control a crowd.
• 
• He gives his speech and ask the students about it,and break the spirit of some that answer,because well,he needs to control them,put them in their place blah blah blah.He then gives megara the chance to answer and calls her by her first name, and she pretends to be slightly shy and answer in a smart way that praised the bisto family more and the prince is satisfied by her answer.He thinks there's many new students that could be useful for him in the future,then he notices in the midst of excited children,neris looks aloof and even angry at him in a moment,but she looks normal when he looks back.He thinks in the future she could become even more beautiful than Megara since her platinum blonde hair is more valued than Megara's honey blonde hair.(Die,pedo)There's another thing I should mention,in this setting,people with violet blue eyes,like megara,are rare and usually are associated with being descendants of a great family like elandria,but the real jewel eyes are of tyrian purple like Neris.For now,her eyes only have the color,and the jewel effect will manifest once she is older.
• Also,fun fact about the tyran color:Tyrian purple is the world’s most expensive dye and was a very valuable thing in the ancient and medieval world due to the fact that the process of dye extraction was complex and time-consuming, requiring knowledge and skill.
• Neris helps Diane walk in a bad pavemented ground at her request and they go together to be assigned to their dormrooms.Neris notices that kids are looking at Diane and asks if it's always like this,and Diane says only I'd they met her for the first time,but they get used fast.There are some teachers in the hall and one called Madame Hoffman is giving more attention to megara and other high hanking students,with many low ranking students looking unsure of how to ask help.Neris decides do ask help to a kind teacher called Madame alix and impresses her and Diane with her manners.Diane sadly separates from neris.
• Neris actually already knew which dorm she was assigned and took a shortcut she used in the past.She wants to enjoy it before the other kids find it and start bullying her there like in the past.She is convinced that she will be bullied again and can't open it to Diane because even if she didn't stay longer to bully her before,she would certainly now.(I don't blame her for this mentality,,this girl spent almost twenty years being abused)
• She meets Ren Fayel in the shortcut and when he grumpily talks to her,she asks if what he is munching isn't a forbidden item.Neris know who he is,the younger brother of the previous pope.He lived a good life before,but when the current pope overthrowned his brother,he devastated Ren whole family and he is alone now.Neris remember that in the past he died early because of addiction.Ren rebukes her and seeing her purple eyes,asks if she is Nelruision sister and she angrily tells him no,she is just a distant relative,since she hates being associated to Nelruision.He says its must have been an uproar with the eyes finally manifesting on her.She tells him he should take of himself and better days would come,and that he should take revenge too.
• Finally it's the first day of class and the kids are introducing themselves.Apart from Diane who is sitting next to her,Neris remembers everyone(how can she not?)Then a girl called Angharad Nain greets neris and asks if she remember her,but neris lies and is cold to her.The girl is embarrassed and leaves trying to meet someone else,but everybody already have a friend.
• This girl is the daughter of Baron nain and she was a childhood friend of neris.When neris was young,her late father boss,sir wildford,brought his friend's daughter that was visiting, to be neris playmate and they had a lot of fun moments together.Neris actually wavered a little seeing Angharad look so inoccent and sincere now,but seeing the students curious gazes,she reminds of the hurtful gazes of the past.Angharad and she were friends again once they began at the academy but shortly after neris was accused os stealing a gold coin and Angharad condemned her and said people would think she is a thief like her.Thinking back,Anghrad was the only person who could have access to neris bag in the time.From the academy days to the her life as princess consort,she could hear Angharad telling people how neris and her mother were odd people.Being the daughter of a low Baron,Angharad probably didn't wanted to be the weakest prey and so she used neris.
• Angharad was unapologetical as a child and as an adult.If she didn't think what she did to neris was a big thing,she should be prepared to believed what will happen to her isn't big either.
• Diane asks her about angharad and neris lies to her too,but Diane is not buying it.Even so,she didn't insist.Even though she is young,she has a good grasp of relationships because of her family friends and relatives always eyeing every precious thing she has,and how they can turn their back once they see they aren't getting what they want.She thinks neris is a friend with very strong points,she's cool,she's elegant,she's indifferent to wealth and very fluent,so she thinks she has her reasons to keep Angharad away.
• She asked to call Neris by a nickname before and neris refused,but when Diane said she would call her "Nel" if she didn't choose one,Neris chose "Ris",because she wouldn't be able to keep her cook being called for a nickname similar to Nelruision name.
• Just then,a pretty boy they saw in the council students speech shows up and Diane asks if isn't neris relative,Nelruision Elandria,to which Neris confirms.Nelruision is giving the tests that will determine the level of each student so they will be able to see if they need to skip grades for some classes.He watches neris hateful gaze but when he blinked she was a smiling girl again,so he thinks he was mistaken.
• In the end,Neris was the only one with a perfect score and her classmates are wondering from where the truides are from.Some boys look a little angry and she notices they are the ones who bullied her the most even when some had grow out of it.In her experience,the boys who bullied her did it to seem strong and catch attention of the girls they likes or they had bad grades and decided to bully her our of jealousy.Seein their grades now,she can see they belong to the latter group.She was never really interested in her classmates grades,only reading books quietly,but now she can see it well. Some girls congratulated neris and though she was a noble from a "truss" family,but neris corrected it and they were even more impressed that she is from a knight family.Neris is flustered because she was never complimented,kids only crictized her for everything.Suddenly,Megara approaches and congratules her saying she must have had an amazing teacher,to which neris says she never had one.A brown haired girl that was a follower of megara when they were older is by megara's side is looking at neris like it's an insult for her to be alive.Her name is Riannon Bertha and she rebukes neris saying it isn't possible for her to do so well without a teacher and that she just don't want to tell them.Neris knows that now and in the past,Riannon says those things because she wants others to agree with her and she believed when she told her she was weird and tried to change.(I can relate...)
• Neris says it's because she read books and had the priest of her village teach her divine language.She also adds that unlike Riannon,she had to ask a relative to pay her tuition so she didn't had money to a teacher,since unlike her,she is not the granddaughter of a count(THE BURN)
• Neris didn't got a perfect score in the past,but she liked books and always did well in school,unlike Riannon who got bad grades in the past and now,but she can read the room and stops once the kids seem convinced by Neris.Megara insincerely congratulates her again and the kids are aware that megara didn't like neris since the beggining,but when the teacher of social studies,sir Sheridan arrives,they go to their places.
• Neris was followed by some friendly and some disdainful gazes.Sir Sheridan is a friendly teacher that gives back the tests complimenting and encouraging every student,even if they didn't do well.When it's megara time and he praises for skipping many grades,the students clap for her and neris is disgusted.Diane is worried that they will be in different classes,but neris reminds that the 1st Grade students all must do dance,social studies and basic magic class together.Sir Sherridan praises neris too since she skipped all her grades and she notices Riannon and megara hateful gazes.Now she can see that the reason they crictized her so much was jealousy by the fact someone who was less than they,had something better.
• In the past,when neris was bullied,she always looked for places to hide because of her classmates harassment and eveytime they found her hiding place,she looked for another.The one that no one ever found and that she stayed for the longest time was a hidden spot inside the Zakaria library of medicine.It was hidden behind a pillar and books and had a nice chair inside.She sat there and rested,planning to hide there again once the bullying started once again.Suddenly,she hears footsteps and is confused,but they grow closer until the person is in front of her.She opens her eyes and sees Cledwyn Maindulante,the Grand duke.

• There are nine great families in the Bista Empire nobility:five marquesades,three duchies and one grand duchy.In the past,Cledwyn died some time after he entered the academy and he becane the Grand duke,but he was a sore spot in the eyes of the imperial family and once he graduated and went to his territory,he killed many traitors,elders and vassals that tried to destroy him.Abelus always critized Cledwyn because he was jealous,saying he was a monster and too "pretty" not looking manly enough,but in Neris eyes,Cledwyn was way more capable,dignified and a better ruler.She didn't had many opportunities to talk to him when she was princess consort but he looks just as pretty now as in the past.He asked who she is and neris asked back saying she is just a freshman,but Cledwyn scoffs saying this is not a place a freshman should knows and raised his sword to her face.

• Neris doesn't show fear or surprises and when Cledwyn asks if she is an Illegitimate child of the elandries,she denies and let him know she is aware of his name.She refused to give his name when he asks and says that if she discovered his,he should be able to discover hers(BOSS!!!)He says he will find out and she leaves,but for some reason she feels agitated like a child and his face didn't leave her mind for some time.(now let's wait hundred chapters until she realizes what it is)

• Neris chose berlen as her elective language class and so she goes to a different campus.The older students are surprised seeing her there and try to ask is she is lost or looking for a relative.Neris outfit is shabby,but her manners make people think she is from a important family.Ren sees her there and gets to know that she will take Berlen class too.While talking he says he chose it because he has an uncle in Berlen,so it could be useful if he visited.Neris asks if he is very close to this uncle and when he says no,she says that she thought so.He seems a little irritated but then she says that if his uncle cared about him,he wouldn't be in this situation.He knows it too,but didn't want to believe he was completely alone.Neris know that his uncle was one of the current pope people and contributed to Ren's family downfall.
• Arriving in class,Neris sees megara happily chatting with other older students and megara greets her saying she will be taking this class too(she asked Madame Hoffman to out her there to prove she can do better than neris).When her relative,Mahradi Annim calls megara by her nickname and asks how she knows neris,megara says they are in the same grade and that neris is very smart,but she says it in a voice that sounds like neris is meddling in places she shouldn't.Neris says she is happy there's someone else from her grade in this class.Megara hastily says she is sitting with her relative once neris unsincerely says she would like to sit together,and neris can tell it's a lie by the face Mahradi did,but he agreed readily looking happy(I can't with those grown boys fawning for a twelve years old)Neris says it cant be helped and go sit,with Ren following her.Megara is annoyed that Neris had someone to sit with.

• The teacher,Sir Voltaire arrives and Megara is a little annoyed he isn't giving attention to her.Ren asks neris in divine language why megara doesn't like her and nerus tells him she doesn't know and to stop talking to her and he is satisfied with her fluency.The teacher gives texts in berlen language to each students and ask them to summarize it and megara does.She gave a good answer and everyone is impressed,and when sir Voltaire asks neris what she thinks of what megara said,neris says it could be wrong or right,and the students are thinking she just wants to look different without giving a proper answer and gaze her with disdain.Sir Voltaire asks her why she said that and neris says it's because he is a diplomat,so to "explain" or "summarize" like he said,meant different things.Neris actually worked with Voltaire in a diplomatic issue with berlen when she was crown princess.
• The teacher also called her to write in the chart board to explain her answer and megara flinched when she realized her translation was wrong,she though a word that meant a title,was the a last name,so her whole answer was messed up.There was also an student called Arthur Pendlant that is the son of a diplomat and a noble lady of berlen,even though neris pointed a mistake he didn't notice,he praised her handwriting and Mahradi Annim rebuked him for it,but he didn't care.
• Mahradi called bullshit and said she neither answered as she was told to,but probably was being given the answer by Ren too,to which led to a verbal fight between the two,to sir Voltaire giving detention to both of them and saying that he saw that the one giving answers to the colleague was Mahradi XD Megara was cheating the whole class and then got angry at Mahradi.
• Sir Voltaire says that they should take language class not only to talk with people of this language,but to have an advantage in a conversation and that Neris truide is in this class because she understands this.He tells megara to stay after class so she can take a test to evaluate if she can continue in the advanced class and she asks if neris will do the test too,to which sir Voltaire said neris already proved herself.(lololol)
• Next class,the rumor about what happened already spread and Megara is being consoled by her same grade classmates while they belittle neris among themselves.Diane tells neris is Megara's own fault for being kicked out because she was jealous and wanted to imitate Neris.Neris is surprised and asks herself if it was always this easy to tell and only she didn't saw.Even so,not all students were angry with neris and sir Voltaire,what surprised neris even more.In the past,Neris believed that Megara crictized her because she was right.She was never accepted in the academy or social circles,hearing things like is ugly,skinny,arrogant,gloomy and has a creepy smile and she believed what they said in the past and even now.But thinking back,not everyone who was like this,was bullied like she was and they had their own friends.She started to realize that perhaps the reason megara attacked her was because she felt threatened by her grades and appearance.Apart from neris platinum hair being more valued than megaras honey blonde,megara violet blue eyes were rare and a reason of pride since everyone though anyone with purple eyes had something to do with a great family like elandria,and even after Neris jewel eyes manifestaded and people got to know how the real purple eyes are,the traditional of praising violet blue eyes didn't end and megara was always complimented because of it.
• Angharad agrees with diane.Diane had noticed that since angharad had neither high grades or an affluent family,she was having trouble getting along with her classmates,but she always sticked by neris even after being rejected.Diane saw a lot of people like Angharad approaching people they think are easy and while she is annoyed by her act she is also proud of neris for noticing too.She thinks neris is a great friend,but it's worried neris doesn't think the same of her because while they soent time together,neris have a wall.She wonders if she ever did something to her or if she didn't liked her,but decided it was because they didn't spend enough time together because of their classes,but now that the first week of school is ending,she should give a party to get close to neris.(Rich girl mind XD)Meanwhile,neris can't understand why Diane wants to get close to her,but even so she doesn't feel bad having someone to eat in the cafeteria after a long time or being there for her.Even so,she believes that Diane will start bullying her too.
• Nelruision and Abelus are in the student council office when Natasha Grunehals,Abelus lover,arrives with the written exams of this first year students.Nelruision is curious why he have this and abelus tells him about neris getting first score and asking if elandria ever gave her education,to which Nelruision denies.Abelus wonder if she is is genius or a cheater and also laughs at megara being expelled from Voltaire class.Nelruision thinks that it doesn't matter if abelus plays with women.Natasha is the daughter of a duke and the most beautiful girl the academy has seen in those last years,but in the end,Valentin will be the one to become his wife and neris will be a useful tool to it.

• The first week of school ended and Diane hosted a pajama party to all the girls in the first year.Her dorm is actually a whole manor to herself in the campus,so the children are having fun making noise,pillow fights and enjoyed the high quality food and decoration.Diane asked Neris to come early and be by her side the whole time.Angharad cane to greet them and Diane was annoyed by her pretending to be close to neris calling her "Nel",when Angharad doesn't even know neris hates this nickname.After not getting much attention,Angharad turns to some friends of low rank she did.Diane is being attentive to neris asking if there's something she would like to eat or if she wants to play a card game with only the two.Diane's maids are a little worried,because even though they are sure a smart and elegant girl like neris will be a strength to Diane,they would her to make friends with other children too so she can have more influence in high society.Just then,a girl called Joanna was showered with a purple juice and the maids took her away to change,but Neris noticed that a few drops got in some kids and some have fell in Angharad's cream color ribbon.(This was very different from the webtoon where Diane helped Angharad,instead of a random girl and she didn't even noticed what happened.In the webtoon,that made neris see her as a reliable person and friend,so I wonder when we will see this development of neris in the novel)
• In the second week of class,neris opened her bag to feel spiders inside.She's not really surprised or scared since she dealed with this a lot in the past,but she wonders who did this.A high ranking girl would not touch a bug by choice,and just then anghrada arrived asked neris what is inside her bag that made her flinch.Neris notices Megara smiling in a distance and when she coldy stares at her,Megara flinches.Neris tries to pass it as nothing and Angharad is flustered and keeps pushing Neris to show her bag,to which neris refuses and leds to her trying to catch it by herself,but Diane is faster and closes Neris bag so Angharad won't touch it.This got the attention of some students and two random Marquess daughters started critizing Angharad and calling her unmannered for being from the country among themselves,but loud enough for all to listen.Angharad retreats and this situation makes neris more sure that in the past,Anghrad was the culprit of the coin incident and that megara was the true master crime.
• The next class is dance and Neris is dancing with a boy who tries to call her by a nickname,to which neris refuses.Its time to change partners and many boys that went in neris direction retreat after one was faster.Alecto Islani angrily asks them if she is invisible when they don't pick her and one of the boys playfully show the tongue to her,thinking he will it as just a minor prank and not understanding she was really hurt.The girls think Alecto os cute with her snappy personality,but her appearance is not really popular among boys(Oh,my childhood and preteen years...)Neris new partner has more common sense than trying to call her by a nickname,but asks her to go to a gathering this weekend with him,to which neris refuses saying she has an assignment from the upperclassmen.
• They bump into Riannon Bertha that picks a fight with neris saying that if she gets dirty in her dress,neris won't be able to pay for it.Neris partner defends her and riannon retreats,but this reminds neris that in the past,when they all got older,neris was dancing alone when riannon bumped in to her and said the same things,and this same boy was dancing with riannon and said the dress already got dirty just by touching Neris.It can't be seen now,but in the future,Riannon would become a very pretty girl with well defined traces and this boy was one of those who wanted her attention.It was a popular game to put a glass of rotten milk in neris head and wondering when it will fall,and even though it was invented by other student,this boy was the one who continued to play it even when others were grown enough to stop.
• Neris picks something on the floor and goes to Alecto that is looking for something.Even though,she doesn't like neris,Alecto is happy when neris gives back her cream colored ribbon and thanks her saying she paid much for it to which neris pleasantly says that its a good thing she got it back since because it's on vogue,everybody is using it so if she loses,she might not find again,to which Alecto says it won't happen since her initial is engraved on it.
• Sometime after,Anghrad hosted a party and as it's custom to bring a small gift to the hostess,Diane gave her a high quality chocolate and Neris a fruit jam,to which angharad thanks them and is friendly like she never tried to mess with neris,saying that Megara and Idalia went to a high level party,but everybody else is here.They leave Angharad to her guests and Diane is impressed that Neris knows so much about the story of the building in where the party is happening and even when she says that because of the structure there are probably many spiders around.Diane wants to go to the bathroom and neris says she will get a drink first and goes to the food table.When she returns,Diane is talking to a girl that invited neris to a gathering she is planning with Anghrad and another student,with low ranking students of the first three grades as guests,to which neris says yes.
• When the girls return,they are told a fight is happening between Angharad and Alecto because angharad stole Alecto's ribbon and replaced with the one that got dirty in Diane's party.Alecto says the ribbon has her initial engraved on it,to which Anghrada rebukes is her initial too and when she can't prove her maid was the one who embroiled it,angharad cries even more and run away of her own party.An extra asks neris if she knew angharad to which Neris denies and when Diane asks what is it that the girl said about Angharad making a party with spiders,and the extra says spiders were found the juice jar,to which Diane is scared because is the same one that neris drank of.Actually,Neris was the one that replaced the ribbons and put the spiders in the jar.
• Neris thinks back to the past in which around the time neris started being ostracized and severely bullied,Angharad started being the one to host the class official gatherings,to which every student should be invited but Neris never received an invitation to.That position wasn't something a low noble like Angharad could get,unless someone gave it to her.Megara was always invited to events with nobles of the same level at her,but in some moment,she started attending the class gatherings and became close to Angharad.There was just one time Neris received an invitation from Angharad and she was very happy,so she went to even if Angharad was cold to her,but when she arrived there,there was no one.An older student told her she was probably lost and that the gathering was being held in Megara's dorm.Neris had to see it,and when she arrived there she saw everybody having fun and badmouthing her asking themselves if she really went there and saying she is dumb,and in the center of it,there was Angharad.Even when she became crown princess,the students remained friends and anghrad could be heard badmouthing neris and saying her mother was odd and a thief too because she asked for help of her dead husband Lord.Neris didn't thought it at the time,but the only person with access to her bad was a friend and anghrada was the only friend she had and that could frame her for stealing the coin that initiated the bullying.
• Neris reputation was the price for Angharad social life.
• In the present,Angharad became quiet and with her head low and didn't went to the low rank gathering she was supposed to host along with her peers.A third grade student is telling them about the punishment Angharad received and how her maid was accused and sent back and probably will be cast aside by the Baron.Neris I'd asked if she was invited to any gathering of the upperclassmen she takes class with and when she tells that they hang around with themselves and that she is happy with the opportunity of being invited to this party,the other students are pleased with her,since that they of low status like children of knights to viscounts,but neither of them is in a situation so difficult as neris,so she gives him a feeling of generosity and pride.They praise that since she has beautiful purple eyes,she probably has great ancestors,so she will be invited to greater places.Neris knows it's true because it did happen in the past,but she was never invited to gathering like this or with goodwill since everybody though she was odd.
• She thinks back that when they call a child odd,it's because they think she shows herself in the way different form her others peers and that they need to interact with people her age to learn about feelings and about themselves,but neris never had this opportunity,so she got odder and odder,never knowing why she was treated this way.(I feel like I got a diagnosis.Mom,all the protection you gave me catched up to adult life.)
• But now,Angharad will become the odd kid.
• Back at the library,Cledwyn greets neris and she is not surprised that he knows who she is since her and mehara are the only first years with purple eyes and they have very different manner of speak and of dressing.Neris is annoyed that he kept coming there and he tells her he is the one who found it first and then brought the chair.He also says she knows she was the one being the ribbon incident and neris is surprised and envious that he already has spies since even abelus didn't had when he was in school.Cledwyin says she is not scared and she tells that if he planned to tell someone,he wouldn't come to her first and asks what he wants,but he throws the question back at her,to which she says she is just a normal students who wants good grades.
• Cledwyn laughs and says a normal students gets scared when a sword is pointed at her,doesn't speak diplomatic language fluently,gets the highest grade in story ot manufacture gossip about her childhood friend.
• Neris reprimands him for investigating a lady and when Cledwyn says he didn't know that's how a lady shows herself,he is probably not aware of how a modern lady acts to which neris agrees saying he it's because he is old.
• All this time he was hidden behind a pillar which annoyed neris since she can't see his reaction and when he tells her to come close,she asks if it's to kill her.He asks why she came then,to which she says its because if he put his mind to it,it doesn't matter if she tries to run and Cledwyn smiles.(I LOVE this kind of convo with sassy remarks and enemies to lovers style)
• He says that if she wants to learn,he can get sir Voltaire to be her personal tutor and that he needs talented people on his side.He leaves neris to think about it and while she knows she will need a powerful person to protect her and her mother,if she acts to hasty,she could end up just like in the past,being used and them abandoned.
• Back to the pests now.Since angharad entered the school,she admired megara and wanted to be her friend.It was an impossible dream,but perhaps megara would need a Los obedient friend since she already had many high level ones,so she decided to wait for the opportunity.One day,Megara approached her saying that neris offended her and that she wanted to teach her a lesson.She said that if Angharad put some spiders in her bag she would help her adapt better in school,but the plan failed.Angharad was repulsed by neris not being afraid of bugs and thought she was odd.Many students admired neris for being elegant and smart,but Angharad didn't buy it and was annoyed that someone below her had the first place in school.If it was megara,it would be ok because she received a better education,but someone like neris being on top was abnormal and nasty.She liked playing with neris when she was young and knew no better,but now the memories are blurred.Even so,she decided to let go of it and try to be friends but Neris rejected her and angharad though she was mean.But she soon learned she shouldn't let her dislikes be shown,because if you wanted to live well in the academy you needed to befriend someone smart,wealthy or popular,and perhaps they will help you too,but Angharad was average in every sense.This time,Megara invited Angharad to have tea in her dorm and told her to steal riannon treasured emerald bracelet,that is an heirloom her rich aunt brought as a dowry.Angharad is afraid but megara tells her that since she already did something similar before,she could do it again.Megara told her that if she did this,people would suspect her,but once the bracelet shows up in Neris bag,Megara can only say that people shouldn't suspect Angharad so easily because what happened with the ribbon was only a mistake.Angharad is aware that Megara's word is "law" in the academy,so this will work.
• Megara is angry that if Neris was in her place,Angharad would look at her with the same scared and admired gaze.Neris doesn't look strange when she acts like an adult,and she looks elegant from every angle.Megara was teached by the best since young and she knows elegance is something you learn,not something that comes naturally,so how come someone like Neris who was never teached can do better?She hates Neris for being better at her in everything but status,and by how she goes through her life showing indifference to everything that is noble as if she doesn't wish nothing.She could kill her,but if she moves hastily she would be the first suspect and she can't have her reputation stained.

• Neris is thinking about Cledwyn offer and some low ranking girls admire how she can look so elegant even sitting still and reflecting about something.She is always praised by Sir Sheridan in the social studies class.She is in the basic magic class with the rest of the first year students.Magic was something normal in the age of three warriors,but now is a rare ability and Neris has a string mana to magic,probably because of her purple eyes.
• After class,Riannon realizes her bracelet is gone and once Madame Graeme,the teacher arrives,she asks everyone to look but it isn't found.Megara and Alecto are comforting Riannon when Alecto says that probably someone took,glaring at angharad,that puts her head down on the table as if crying.The teacher reprimands Alecto,but it's true that because of her bad reputation,Angharad has been leaving the classes a lot because no one wants to be her partner.Just then,Megara says that Neris also left class today and that she doesn't wish to suspect anyone,but it's only fair to say it.Neris smiles and says that she was wondering when she should say it and is happy megara did it first.The teacher is someone nice that tried to keep things calm, but not even she believed someone had took it by accident,so when Riannon said that in her house,they make suspect show their pockets and belongings,she asked everybody to close their eyes and asked the one with the lowest status,Neris,to go to her so she can check her bag.
• Neris is famous among the teacher and many have said they would like to keep her as a scholar if she have trouble adapting in society.Madame Graeme admires her too and when neris showed her belongings that are few and of humble quality,it was proven Neris wasn't guilty and thanked her.
• No one can see with their eyes closed,but from the voices,they know Neris is innocent and Megara expression crumpled.
• It's Angharad time and the teacher sees that her belongings are simple,but very cute,probably by her father's desire of his daugther not being ignored.The students hear Angharad crying and saying it wasn't her,and when they open their eyes,the bracelet is in Madame Graeme hand.She gives it back to Riannon and asks Angharad to stay.(I swear,this is not a school,it's a torture chamber!Those kids are not well in their heads.)
• So what happened is,in class,Neris was also thinking about Angharad and if she wasn't going too far for things she wasn't sure she did.The only thing she knows for sure was that angharad put spiders in her bag and that wasn't something big,but then she noticed Angharad gazing at riannon bracelet.When Angharad came back during class,Neris left and saw riannon bracelet in her own bag.She doesn't know for sure if it was really angharad in the past,but she knows she is using a similar method now.She could put the bracelet back in riannon bag,but she chose to put in Angharad and she knows that there are people who did worse things to her and that for her revenge,she will have to cross the lines and do wrong things again,even if they it first.Ren told her she was lucky that she wasn't found guilty and she knows it's true,if she knew nothing and the bracelet was found in her bag,that would be her end.She's tired.Back at her dorm,Neris falls on bed and mutters "evil girl".It's a word directed to Megara,Angharad,Riannon...and more than anyone,to Neris Truide.
• The children are in the lake garden for an outdoor social studies class and Megara is being given flowers by a very popular boy,but no one can be jealous of her,only admire since it's not unusual for people to like her.Idalia Kendall is by her side admiring her beauty too.Both are daughters of marquesses,but unlike megara that is very popular and usually talk to many kids of different ranks,Idalia interact mostly with megara.Idalia is usually quiet and she thinks megara is a little stubborn and selfish sometimes,but her good qualities like beauty overcome it and she is a great friend(more like fiend) that will become a important person in the future,she could even marry the son of a duke.Just then she flinches because she is reminded of something.Even though Prince Abelus is in a relationship with Princess Grunehals,the Elandria family is the most powerful one and they could pressure for Princess Valentin to become Abelus wife.If so,there was a high chance that the Nelruision Elandria would marry Natasha that is from a ducal house like him.There was the Grand duke,but the people of his territory usually only interacted ny themselves,so people preferred the son of elandria as a groom.She doesn't care if those low boys she is not interested in have a crush on megara,people like them marry boys of their own level and with her beauty she would attract high ranking boys too in the future and could end up with Nelruision.That's what she is afraid of.Idalia Kendall is very much in love with Nelruision Elandria.
• The teacher of social studies,sir Sherridan says that today's class will be of etiquette as a host in a tea party and every one should form groups of four and choose a table.Two boys run fast to be with Megara and Idalia and when Riannon arrives late and they apologize for not joining the group today.Riannon was always a follower of megara and the only other girl she is somewhat close to is Alecto,but her group is also full.Idalia kindly suggests her to be with angharad who is alone,but Riannon shouts "no" since she hates her.Idalia is surprised by her manners and thinks that since Riannon is not from a very high status,since she is only the daughter of the second son of a powerful count,she should learn how to behave herself.Sir sherridan goes there and tells her to join Neris and Diane who are together and when he asks if someone else doesn't have a group,a sad angharad approaches him and while he is aware and feels complicated about it,he puts those four in the same group.Megara is the first one to chose a table and the others follow.
• Meanwhile Riannon is angry.She hates Neris for going well in school even though she is not a lady and shouldn't be learning things about being one and she also hates Diane because the adults always say that their family only has money but no a long history,but right now she hates Angharad more not only because of the theft incident but because Angharad always pretended to be close and invited her to low ranking events.She thinks that even if she is the daughter of the son who will never have a title,she still is the granddaughter of a Count and it ranks higher than a rural Baron.Diane ignored Riannon bad mood and asked to start the lesson,to what riannon mockingly asked Neris to be the hostess since the teacher always praises her.She became annoyed when Neris led to her seat in an elegant manner but found something to critize,but turns out she was wrong.When Diane said they do like this at her home too,Riannon is about to say something hurtful about her family,but Neris interrupts her and asks if she should call the teacher to check if she was wrong or not.The teacher actually aproaches them and Riannon says it was nothing,since she is afraid of being embarrassed.She critizes neris for tattling and the lesson continues.She then leads Diane and Angharad to their seats and Angharad glares at her and asks if she is the one that put the bracelet in her bag,to which riannon gets angry.Angharad is nervous and starts defending herself saying her father can buy her things,but neris is poor and has no servants,so if someone has reasons to steal something is her.Riannon says that the bracelet was in her bag,so she should stop embarrassing herself.Future and present,Riannon dark eyes always made students flinch when she got angry at them.Neris is glad that Riannon is still the same.
• when I first saw this illustration before reading the novel,I thought they were all friends and was disappointed because I like a sole bff like diane but a group of girl friends is nice too.
• When Neris was a real first grade,her friend from Riannon came from a letter.It was in the second semester and Neris was still being ostracized when she found a letter in her drawer asking to be friends.The sender signed it as "Nona".Neris was really happy for finally having a friend and shared many stories about fairytales,books and her life with Nona.She was really glad for having a friend even if was a secret.But then Nona asked to them to become closer and Neris suggested for them to meet at her secret place and Nona was interested to know where she always disappears to read.Her secret place was in a backyard of one of the upperclassmen campus,she planted seeds she bought with her pocketmoney and planted flowers that although were tall,but weak and even so they survived.She wondered if Nona would show up,but she found her garden destroyed instead.She sent another letter asking if they went to her garden,but there was no answer.She didn't even was suspicious of her friend.She had thought Nona was from another grade since her reputation wasn't good around her class,so perhaps Nona got to know who she is and it was the reason she stopped sending letters to her.Riannon and Neris had to partner in a practice of conversation in foreign language class once.Riannon wasn't good in language,but she was worse in literature and music.Neris didn't understand kids who didn't do well in school so when she corrected Riannon,she didn't though she would feel embarrassed or angry,she just wanted to help,but Riannon called her a show off and said that's why she doesn't have friends.They had to sit together for a while and Riannon started sharing notes with her friends and Neris had a feeling they were laughing about her in those notes.She noticed a familiar handwriting and signature.That's when she found out Riannon is Nona and she asked her about it,but Riannon got embarrassed for a moment but denied.She told her to prove if she can and Neris did have proof,she still had her letters,but she knew no one believe her.She decided to let it go,but Riannon did not.Perhaps she felt guilty or scared,but she started sharing with her friends about neris acussing her and thanked when they said they would teach her a lesson.One day,some kids ambushed neris and confronted her and things got pretty violent.They started beating her as a prank,but things got so heated she was out of air.Thats when she heard a teacher approaching and next thing she knows,she spent days in the infirmary.She was scared of returning to class,but surprisingly no one paid attention to her.She saw Riannon and stared at her and Riannon started picking a fight asking if she will tattle to the teacher again and if she can do anything alone.She stopped once Megara called her and later Neris realized that this had Megara hand on it.The academy decided to close Neris case because of lack of evidence and that Neris bruises were hard to tell if it was really by beating.But it wasn't.Neris was completely broken and her body was the evidence of violence.A witness?The teacher,but he disappeared and no one could find him.Only someone with great influence could have covered it.Megara covered everything,but no one asked anything to the victim.This happened in the end of Neris first year at the academy.
• Now back to the present,Natasha Grunehals appears in the first grade class asking if someone there have the nickname "Nona".Riannon stands up and people were surprised because megara and others call her "Rini".Natasha gives a mockering smile and asks if the letter was hers and Riannon is confused.As a student council member,Natasha was told to only find Nona and bring her but she was irritated by Riannon denying she wrote something and decided to humiliate her.She told that some student entered the student office without authorization and left a letter hidden.The letter was a love confession to Nelruision saying she admires him and that someday she will become a great lady worthy of him and it was signed as "Nona".Megara frowned and Alecto laughed loudly.(I want to be a good person but I feel I would do the same)But Idalia became pale by the always demure Riannon audacity and when Natasha asked for someone to identify her handwriting,she offered to do it before Megara could stop her.She told it was her handwriting and it even had a spelling mistake she usually did.She started saying bad things to riannon surprising everyone since she is so quiet.(Don't mess with the man a child thinks she dates)
• Natasha told riannon to come with her so they can meet her beloved.Its no surprise,but Neris was the one copied her handwriting and hid it in a secret drawer of Nelruision table in a way it could be seen by others.In her last life,Nelruision used to hide important documents there from the crown prince and he asked Neris to take it back when he left school and she stayed.She is hoping to give a blow to Nelruision and Riannon at once.This time,Neris destroyed Riannon before she could become a pawn for her opponent to use.
• In the berlen class,Ren is chatting with Neris about how Nelruision was angry with riannon situation and how her class is full of troublemakers.(Fr,there's a genius commoner,a high noble being expelled from a upper class,two theft incidents by a baron's daughter and a invasion of the student council to deliver a love letter by a noble)He's worried about her because he thinks she is a meddler and cares about others life's since she gave him advice in their first meeting and Neris thinks this couldn't be farther of her since in her last life,she destroyed and killed people for her family.
• Sir Voltaire tells the students to bring their lessons and Neris goes first.Mahradi Annim mutters "show off " loudly enough for the students to hear and Ren confronts him for messing with a child.Mahradi asks if girls six years younger are his type and Neris glares at Mahradi who is angry for flinching at a low student gaze.
• Neris didn't bother to confront Mahradi because he is not a person who can control the class mood,but things are getting bigger thanks to Ren.She tells him if he thinks "defending someone" is the same as having a crush on them.She then proceeds to ask what is the age gap between him and Megara.

• Arthur Pendlant saw him being ignored by Megara after the berlen class and laughed.Mahradi called neris arrogant and she she admitted she is ill mannered,so he should tell this to her face like right now instead of muttering like a coward.
• The whole class applauded lead by Arthur and they started chainting her name,which made Neris blush since she never had such a favorable reaction.When this convo ended the teacher gave detention to both neris and Mahradi because they disrupted the class.He says even if neris defended herself,she broke the rules.
• Neris thinks he is wrong and right,since for things to be fair,opponents should be equally matched against each other and that was never the case for Neris.
• After dinner,Neris goes to the teacher office and finds Nelruision thanking sir Voltaire for allowing him to supervise neris punishment and she goes blank thinking of all the betrayal of her past.When Nelruision opens the door he sees neris and they greet ecah other before she asks to be assigned for another since she don't want preferential treatment.Sir Voltaire says there's nothing like this and she leaves with Nelruision.
• Nelruision tries to get in her good graces saying sir Voltaire is a little difficult,but neris says he is a good man what makes Nelruision embarrassed since academy children were usually taken back when their teacher aren't so indulgent to them as the people of their home.He brings her the student council office to do her tasks and tries to gain her favor saying things like this paper is expensive and stuff but Neris is aloof and Nelruision is annoyed because he is used to people liking him,saying he is fair,just and kind,but Neris is not moving as he wants.Just then,he gives him a shy smile when she pretended to make a mistake and he corrected,and he was relieved thinking she is just timid.Talking a little more,Neris gives him a bright smile and his head goes blank for a moment.He didn't knew she could look this beautiful.(All the pedos in this story)He is full of glee thinking of all the things she can use her for to obtain power since she is pretty and smart.He tells her to call him oppa nel and asks she have a nickname,and neris acting cute saying she doesn't and only her mother calls her "baby",but she is not a baby so he shouldn't call her like this.From her actions,he thinks Neris is naive and innocent too as befitting of country girl(thats her plan,the girl is playing with the beliefs and fantasies nobles have)and thinks that he would be happy taking care of a sister who is more like the cute Neris than the spoiled Valentin.The situation where Riannon exposed his secret drawer to abelus made him very angry,so he was happy when he heard Idalia Kendall was taking the lead in isolating Riannon Bertha.
• Since the student council members liked to be in the office like it was an exclusive club,Nelruision manufactured their privacy planning a card game to them to play somewhere else,but Abelus showed up for a moment and teased Nelruision about telling him to not have trysts with Natasha there,but he brought the most beautiful girl of first grade to be with him.He is only teasing Nelruision,he barely looked at neris and she knows there is no way abelus would think she is attractive when he spent years telling how ugly she is.(My baby!!!)

• The stiff priest tells him to go study if he have free time or instead dedicate himself to his new pleasure.He said it in a way that showed he was reproaching him for smoking.Ren remembered that the friendly priest only smiled and turned a blind eye when he saw him with this.He suddenly notices that there was a technique to destroy people that fell of power in the vatican,and it was os slowly poisoning then with vicious drugs.When Dorgon,a loyal servant of his that followed Ren for years brought the herb to him,he didn't even rationalized that it wasn't something a servant could get.He thinks that the stiff priest and neris are similar in the way they give advice without trying to sound comforting,but it's comforting even so.Ren goes back to his room and just then,Dorgon appears.His lord was screaming his lungs but he didn't show up and Ren wonder how he didn't noticed before.Ren controls his expressions and tells the servant to visit his uncle.Friendly priest,his uncle and dorgon.Ren started making a list of people who betrayed him.He hopes one day he will be able to walk with strength and confidence as Neris.
• The children have another socialization class by the lake and all are on Megara who is specially beautiful today.Idalia is also happily admiring her.She knows her appearance is less eye catching than megara and she doesn't think it's something dignified to fight for popularity,megara doesn't even have to do it,she's so pretty everybody want to be her friend and Idalia is happy for her.Just then,her eyes turn to riannon who is all alone.Angharad used to be the sole outcast but riannon joined her in those ranks.She thinks it serves her right.Megara tells her to not look and she does,while one of the boys at their table says bad things about riannon too to what megata only lightly calls him name as if scolding.(Those two girls want to look like good people so bad)
• Sir Sheridan announces that the lesson today will be reciting classic poetry and neris knows it's becoming popular because of the empress.Sir Sheridan shows a demonstration of how to properly recite and gives everyone a copy of a poem his friend wrote,so the children can decorate and recite.The children that never been to a party where poetry is recited are nervous,but kids like megara who been to some not so much.Megara knows the teacher does want a perfect recitation too,so she is not scared.She even praises Idalia for having talent for art and poetry and says she is jealous since she doesn't have talent for it.When the teacher asks someone to volunteer,no one does.But then Riannon loudly asks Neris to do it since she is always praised and isn't even looking at the paper,so she should know.
• Everybody is looking at her unfavorably because it's a breech of etiquette to ask something like this.But Idalia notices that Megara has a look of cold mockery to and is a little scared.The teacher encouraged neris to try if she wants,but she remains so quiet,the ambient starts growing hostile.People curiosity about her already faded since by now,everybody noticed megara doesn't feel comfortable around neris.They think it's a shame Megara is so good,otherwise they would attack Neris.(I don't like those children)
• Angharad that she shouldn't be so arrogant if she cant even do it and Riannon laughs.Diane is VERY angry at both of them,since Neris never is arrogant and only minds her own business.Neris makes a gesture for her,so she don't say anything.But Neris rises up and starts reciting the poem of 14 verses in a perfect way without looking at the paper.Diane lead the clapping and other students followed.Sir Sheridan is amazed that someone who never had a tutor can be so good at everything and praises her.
• Riannon is angry and says Neris already knew the poem and when Neris says how could she do it when it was written by Sir Sheridan friend,riannon says he could have shown it before.Sir Sheridan asks if she thinks he broke the rules for one student and riannon gets nervous.Riannon says she didn't mean this and Diane mocks her asking if she thinks that she can speak anything and say it's a misunderstanding.She even calls her "Nona".Neris proceeds to recite a poem of one hundred verses to perfection and asks riannon if she still thinks she can't memorize anything.Idalia smiled and clapped seeing this scene.The first 4 verses of the poem were well known,but not everyone know there is more verses and that is about a poet that had upset politicians and was unfairly treated by them.The teacher praised her again and she apologized for taking the class time.Since it's not good to appear to arrogant in society,the students and sir Sheridan are relieved by her apology and he says it's ok since it was today's lesson.When neris looked around,megara was happily chatting with Idalia,no trace of the cold gaze he gave her once she finished reciting,but she can tell from a glance who encouraged Riannon to humiliate Neris.
• Neris go back to her hiding place and meets Cledwyn in a light outfit and with a scar on his chest.She asks who did this to him since no one able to hurt him attended this school.He says it wasn't someone from the school and she understands it's another murder attempt.He says that if he already satisfied her curiosity,he wants her to do the same for him and he will pay her price.She answer that there is something she is desperate to achieve but she can do so without his help.Cledwyin disagrees since she was seen by his people and is moving recklessly to people that have no relation to her.Before she can help it,she says she's doing it because they destroyed her and regrets instantly.Cledwyin gives a small smile and asks if it wasn't the contrary.Neris agrees and mindless says she expressed herself badly and she just did it because she felt like it.
• Cledwyn says he will not judge her and he knows there is a big fish that she is after.He says that he is interested in her,even with her shortcomings and will help as long as she let's him borrow her abilities.She says she doesn't know if he will will want her when he knows her price and she tells him what it is.(I really want to put the whole monologue here because I got chills but I don't want my post deleted)
• She tells him she wants to destroy them.She wants them to be critized and humiliated without knowing why.She wants then to feel despair everyday and look for places to hide and be overwhelmed by betrayal.She wants them to hate everything about themselves that they didn't even notice it was ugly.She wants them to hope for years that things will get better just to have ir crushed.She wants them to resent themselves and just then turn this resentment to the world,hating every single thing about them and believing themselves to be guilt,wrong and odd.She wants them to not believe when someone says they are loved and precious.She wants them to never forget the pain,while the ones who caused the pain have forgotten.She wants them to feel like she did.
• Cledwyn is speechless because the things neris said don't match the info he have about her and the way she said it and her gaze are not from a child,so he wonder if she was bullied or saw someone go through it.Neris says its wrong and she is a bad person,but she really wants it.
• To herself,she starts thinking that in the past she already did everything she wished for when she was young.She had eat good food,dance in a ball and talked to foreign people.She never pledged eternal friendship or spent her life with a man she loved,but she doesn't believe in this anymore.What she believes it's in revenge and she feels like she will break if she doesn't have it.She wants to give it all back.
• Cledwyn aks if destroying Nelruision is in her plans and Neris says that although it will take time,yes.Its not like the things she did so far would have an effect in a Duke's son,but she knows all the weaknesses of the elandrias and she will get them someday.And when she does,the imperial family destruction will be her final goal.She wonders how cledwyin will respond to her dark desires but he surprises her saying that honey trapping Nelruision isn't a good idea since her reputation could take a blow too.Neris says that Nelruision would never ruin his life for a woman,let alone someone unattractive like her.Cledwyn is incredulous that she thinks of herself this way and neris blushs a little as his eyes wide.
• She tells him she wants no judgements about her ways and if he help her achieve her goals,she will do everything he wishes as long as is reasonable.
• He smiles and says there is no wish of her he can't make come true and that he will put his efforts into making her enemies end up in the situation she described.
• After Neris leaves,Cledwyin used his communication device to speak with his subordinate that starts saying that Neris is weird.He tells the Grand duke about what she did before she came to the library.Neris saw that Alecto Islani was alone in the garden and trowed a peeble at her.Riannon Bertha was the only one visible at the garden so Alecto blamed her.The aide says that its not unusual to nobles to be proud so Neris doing those rings are out of line.Cledwyin says he is already aware of her temper and he didn't asked for his review of her.Cledwyn has a secret society called "night fury" with talented inviduals that have no affiliation to external forces.Theres no "good people" there since if you follow superiors blindly you might end up dead,but is exactly this attitude he wants.He doesn't have much time and he needs more talented subordinates.

• Dance class is one of the favorite classes of students since they can aproach popular kids that they like,but to Alecto is the worst.She hates it since she was snubbed by one of the boys there.She used to secretly watch her the balls of her house dreaming of the day she would enchant everyone,but when she arrived at the academy she realized the girls who are chosen to dance are either pretty or wealthy.(This is taking me back to school events of my time...)
• Idalia who is walking by her side,notices that riannon is all alone again and being treated as if she was invisible.Alecto doesn't tolerate the small insult and picks a peeble on the floor.Idalia asks what she is doing and Alecto can't stand how she acts innocent but she can't say anything because Idalia is a marquess daughter.She throws a small peeble into Riannon's head.Riannon knew it was alecto and idalia had a lot of satisfaction in her face.She started looking for someone and saw Neris and Diane.Diane usually only joined the slow dances because of her leg and Neris was helping her out her dance shoes.Riannon was making eye contact with neris before so she knows nerid saw what happened but Neris kept denying.Alecto was satisfied because even though Neris is smart,it doesn't mean she would have common sense enough to know in which side stand since she acts so different from everyone.Is she had picked riannon,Alecto would have to bully neris too.Alecto is someone with a huge inferiority that gives hell to someone who she thinks is mocking her and Neris is aware of it,so she purposely set her against riannon.Riannon complained and Neris asks if she wants to blame everyone since before was Alecto and now it's her.Idalia cautiously smiles and Alecto laughs while asking riannon if she has any evidence.The other students curse at riannon and Idalia again pretending to be innocent leaves with Alecto.(Small spoiler:From what I saw from part 3,Idalia and Alecto are next on Neris "You're going down" list)
• Back to her dorm,Neris is quite satisfied with the events of the day.She didn't feel very good watching it but she couldn't stop since it felt like retribution to all she went through.It was annoying seeing the kids having fun and going along with the situation.She knew Alecto had to go next and cinically hoped riannon would enjoy.She sees a letter in her bedroom and knows its from Cledwyn.Its a note congratulating her.Neris writes in the same card what it's the reason for congratulations and asks him to buy her seeds of some plant(she will start making money).
• She put it between her door and the next day,the card was gone.

I have summarized the first 25 chapters of the webnovel.The webcomic fan translation(ep 10) covered until chapter 12 of the novel and I wrote about the earlier chapters too because there are some informations that the webcomic have either cut or changed.
