How many story arcs are there? And I find it interesting that Natasha would ever see FL as a threat. FL has shown no interest in the crown prince and from the spoilers it hasn’t seemed he has either.

 

The crown prince is a massive pervert. He'll take an interest in any pretty woman. Also, the Elandria plan to marry off either Valentin or Neris to Abelus, even if it is a political marriage Natasha would feel threatened by it.

About the arcs,I can't say for sure,but if I have to guess from the number of chapters I spoiled in each arc and by how many chapters are left,I would say there's 10 to 15 arcs left.

Spoiler: Izette personality by Neris

Unlike her siblings she doesn't have jewel eyes and her silver hair is lighter and done in a bun,making her look older than she is.Neris knows her well since she used to be her sister in law.Unlike Camille who said she would scold Abelus for spending time with Megara and always praised Neris when she accomplished something great for the imperial family,Izette always stayed out of it as it wasn't her business.She completely ignored Neris as she only cared about the imperial family keeping their status so she could have a comfortable life and it didn't matter if Neris was ignored or praised for her work.
From what I saw in namu,she is the only member of the imperial family who was saved and even helped the main leads in a moment,having accepted that the bisto family is no more.She is not really a typical mean girl,more like a bystander who doesn't care about others as long as it doesn't harm her position.

 

Seems like she’s better at playing the bystander card than Idalia ever was.

 

Spoiler: Elandria power

The Elandria mind control ability isn't exactly mind control it is more like brainwashing/powerful persuasion. BTW, Neris can't use the ability to influence actions against herself that is why she couldn't stop Valentin from murdering her. What I don't understand is whether she herself uses the power or she gives the powerful persuasion to someone else.

There is a fine line between being a bystander because you legitimately can't do anything and being apathetic of someone's suffering as long as it doesn't effect you even though you have the power to help the out

 

Sorry I don’t really understand the last part of your question but I’ve read ahead in the novel and from what I’ve seen it’s that people are irrevocably drawn in to her eyes and feel compelled to trust her just by looking into her eyes though this trust is not absolute more like an inclination. However activation of the power is the actual force of her persuasion ability. Like you said there are limits to her ability like Neris cant make a person do something that would hurt them or something they are fundamentally against. I think right wording of her requests also help her case.

Spoiler: Neris using her power

she tested her ability on a girl working in an inn. When Neris asked the girl to tell her biggest secret the girl felt relaxed and that she could trust Neris. She winds up confessing she stole some jewelry from a past customer who was a noble and hid it under the innkeeper’s daughter’s bed. The girl got away with it because she’d faked being bedridden with illness that day and the innkeeper had to pay a huge sum to the noble to apologize. She did this because this girl is also the innkeeper’s daughter but she is an illegitimate child. He lies and tells people she is the abandoned child of nomads who passed through the towns years back and treats her like a slave while his legitimate child is spoilt like a princess. When Neris thanks her for telling this secret she feels grateful and thinks Neris is some sort of angel for not judging or condemning her. Later on Neris uses her ability on a nobleman who betrayed ML and endangered thousands of lives just to punish ML for giving power to talented people of lesser statuses rather than relying on those from the older noble families in his land. When Neris goes to confront him in prison he is determined not to say anything but with the combination of Neris’ eyes and her words he wounds up begging for his life in exchange for whatever she wants to know. The nobleman becomes so compliant after Neris uses her power on him that one of ML’s aides says the nobleman would even talk about the boy that lives behind his house when he was five years old

 

So it is basically high charisma plus compulsion, I wonder how Neris awakened her ability in this life and if anyone else knows she did.

 

Spoiler: Neris’ awakening

Neris’s powers awoke the same way as in her last life. After turning 18 she would suffer a fever and when it subsided she would have developed her jewel eyes. Because this is the same thing that happened in her past life she prepared ahead for it and did not attend her graduation ceremony so no one would see her jewel eyes. She spends the duration of the fever at the inn where she tests her ability on the girl working there. She hid her ability when she got to ML’s territory by wearing a veil. ML wanted to be there when she got there but information on the location of the last traitorous elder from his territory surfaced and he had to rush away. When he gets back she shows them to him and he tells her to do whatever she wants to do, reveal them or hide them, and that no matter what she chooses he is fully capable of protecting her either way. MC decides to reveal them and stops wearing her veil from then on. Interactions between them are diabetes inducing. ML is so whipped and has made peace with that and MC is whipped and doesn’t know it yet.

 

How did Nelrusion and the Elandria react when they found out she awakened her jewel eyes.

 

What I’m curious about is how did she find out she wasn’t infertile.

Well,it was Natasha's fault and she became the prince's wife.They probably had to do those tests when it was clear that she wasn't getting pregnant.If I remember well,in some of the next chapters that I took a peek,it was said that Abelus and Neris had to sleep together some times.

Not sure how they reacted,but from Yonder comments and the final uploaded chapters,it seems like Nelruision plans to use her and her marriage to Cledwyn to help his family.Those chapters are actually about Neris stay in the elandria manor in the current timeline after her marriage to the Grand Duke.

 

I know that I’m talking about in this timeline because she refused Cledwyn because she thinks she’s still infertile.

 

Oh that.Im not there yet,just saw the comments but if I remember well there's a chance she doesn't know the only reason she was infertile is because of what Natasha did.

 

What’s the Bistos’ eye power? We know the Elandria’s is mind manipulation and Palos’ is time manipulation but what can the imperial family do?

 

I haven’t reached that point yet. In the chapters I’m in now the story is focused on the matters of ML’s land so whether or not Elandria knows Neris is in ML’s land or that she has jewel eyes hasn’t been discussed. Since MC graduated and left the academy the story hasn’t said anything about Nelrusion apart from the fact he’s been trying to sound MC out in his letters to her and hint about her being officially adopted into the Elandria family.
However in Neris’ past life the story says Nelruision was very proud of Neris’ eyes once they fully developed into jewel eyes and he would often look into them and talk about how proud they made him feel of his bloodline. Neris’ eyes were like a badge of honor to him and something he felt showed off the prestige of his bloodline. The royal family have aquamarine eyes and ML’s family have grey eyes so the Elandria’s family’s magenta eyes were known to be the most beautiful and eye catching. In MC’s past life Nelrusion theorizes the Elandria’s ancestor was nicknamed “honest Elandria” because the power of his eyes made everyone feel like everything he said was right and true
