Ok now lets talk about the plot.

Why is a lot that happened then n now seems to prevent Eros from getting closer and have good sentiment towards Psyche?
Ive read an interesting take from a user on Twitter and it seems to them that the Eros' actions in a flashback are helping Psyche's situation a lot n that Eros is different in terms of evil compared with the Eros in the current timeline.

What was the moment that made Eros completely snap at Psyche?

My point is Eros and Psyche are the key to a better world in Your Throne.
No matter how yall look at/interpret the prophecy, it just suggests that both of them are the key.

Lotta ppl were saying the suffering Psyche has endured under Eros' Psyche is the nutrient to her bringing prosperity to the whole world, imma tell you ryt, its not that simple!
If it was then why Sam even tried to keep Eros' name in that Prophecy to begin with?

Like yes, we all knew that Psyche was the light, i for one, wanted the villain to be that light and see how much of a challenge it'd take Sam-nim to get them there. Allas yh as expected Psyche is that light, even tho her name is not even mentioned in that prophecy.

1st question: is Eros aware of the true prophecy that his parents tried so hard to hide?
2nd question: assuming that the imperial family's interpretation of the prophecy is right,

If Psyche did not save Eros, would she be able to bring Prosperity to the world?

Does someone has to offer Eros as a sactifice to Psyche? Im thinking of the Pope even tho he would have to confront the imperial family.

Should Psyche kill Eros in order to bring peace and prosperity? Hows she gonna deal with the Pope when Medea has lost it when Helio died. And im sure she wanna destroy evrtything based on the 2nd prophecy.

I only see 3 main characters, for the ending of this series.
Eros n Psyche for the 1st prophecy
And Medea for the 2nd prophecy.

Ad of rn maybe Sam nim is trying to make it clear regarding the right interpretation of the 1st prophecy in order to lay out the path to it confronting the 2nd one.

So Psyche's backstory main goal is to clarify each other's role in thr first prophecy, lol.

Girlllll no one takes you seriously here. Not even Eros and Medea shippers (who are bad enough as it is) take you seriously when you ship Psyche and Eros. Like, that is the worst thing you could ever do. Did Psyche's development mean nothing to you? You only care about Eros and him getting harem, it's so funny. The only thing Eros can hope to get from Psyche and Medea is a decent casket if they decide to be kind on his big day.

Actually there is no real need to ship Eros and Psyche since they have alr been tgt and consumed their love, had great memories and everything until the plot kicked off on her debutante ball or birthday, dont recall right.

Psyche's development is obvious to everyone n im not trying to deny it tho.

And i dont get it why you are getting emotional over theories.
Also all you have been doing is reacting...

Or you can drop some of your theories abt the current arc in Your Throne, so that we can discuss.:blobthinkingsmirk:

Edit: Girlll im shipping whomever i want with my golden boy Eros (for i think he deserves the world, poor boy was a sacrificial lamb all along:blob_teary:) got a prob with that, then cope.

Thats not a gross panel but a gesture of love. Instead of words he wanted Medea to feel it in her body, yeah that stings, that hurts, and at the same time it's good, thats whats falling in love REALLY IS. So he just expressed his feelings.

But i forgot what this scene in this panel means, do you mind telling me?

You want to discuss this scene? Sure, I will bite. (I know you didn’t mean me, but I still wanted to give this a try. I know this isn’t a conversation involving me, so apologies if this is unexpected.)

As said before, this is all from the English Webtoon.

    EPSIODE 100:

    · Medea is on her way out of the Pope coronation to Perion but meets Eros.

    · Eros: “Duchess Solon.”

    · Medea: “… Greetings your Highness, the Crown Prince.”

    · Eros: “Where are you running off to? It would be safer to remain at the banquet.”

    · Medea, in thought (she flinches a little): Where am I headed? That’s what I’d like to ask. We’re in a state of emergency during which every second counts. Why did you come to the back gate instead of the main gate? I can’t let Eros hold me back here!

    · Medea, coming up with an excuse: “The wealthier they are… nobles must not forget their responsibilities that come with their wealth. You should not inherit only the title. You should be fitting of the title of Duchess on the inside as well.”

    · Eros, with an intense stare and surprise, exclaims: “Whoa.”

    · Medea, smiling: “Even you were leading the way to the accident site, were you not? If you’d permit it, I would like to assist you. Let us go together.”

    · Eros, with an inquiring look and smile, says: “… No… sorry… but I came to see you. It is sad that the castle wall crumbled, and people died… But I did it, so I am not too distraught.

    · It begins to rain.

    · Medea, with shock in her eyes: “… What? What did he just say?”

    · Eros, talking as if it were another Sunday (he committed terrorism on his own people): “I thought a lot about it. There was no guarantee that the ground would sink right away even if I set off explosions under the castle wall. However, there was an emergency escape passageway in the palace. I’ve been painstakingly creating cracks near the support beams. Then I set fire to the wall to create a series of explosions. Getting the timing to match the procession was the toughest part.”

    · Medea, being in shock (and perhaps overwhelmed at Eros sudden murder confession?): “The procession… people died unfairly.”

    · Eros, giving a little humble pose: “Of course, they will. Because that is the most effective way of the making people angry. You know intellectually, don’t you? Or have you been spending too much time with that jerk [Perion] and become like him?”

    · Eros, trying to justify murder while looking nonchalant in the eyes: “To say they died unfairly is a misnomer. They died for the Empire.”

    · Eros: “Whether they live or die, they are like ants. But they died together and were useful to the Empire. Thus, they should thank me.”

    · Medea, facepalming in disappointment: “What…!

    · Eros, while looking at his nails: “Naturally, it irks me as well. Losing our people weakens our Empire… In that sense, I am sad.”

    · Eros, holding his fist like a revolutionary: “But we can simply increase the population to make up for the decrease. That’s how people are.”

    · Eros, with a serious look on his face: “If you need them, you use them. If you don’t have enough, you buy more.” (Please tell me he did not mean what I think he meant.)

    Episode 101:

    · Medea: “I don’t understand. Why are you telling me this?”

    · Eros looks seriously at Medea: “… It is simple.”

    · Eros, smiling in insane awe (that’s how I describe the face): “Because you’ll figure it out even if I don’t. That is why.”

    · Medea seems serious, as if she is dealing with someone dangerous. (I wonder why? That was sarcasm. We know why.)

    · Eros: “Which means there is no reason to waste time. It’s better to appease you.”

    · Eros, extending his hand (Like a deal with the devil, ha-ha! Ha…): “I will be straightforward. Let me make you an offer.”

    · Eros, smiling menacingly: “Follow me. I will soon take the throne.”

    · Medea is in shock while Eros is telling his evil plans, that it got her to have higher heartbeat (she isn’t blushing, so it is more in panic, since you know, people’s heartbeat goes up when they panic? You didn’t know? Now you do.)

    · Eros: “I plan to kill the emperor. This is the last chance I’m giving you. Help me completely become the emperor… or stop me… by working with the incompetent cardinal who couldn’t even stop a simple incident like today’s… the rudeness and audacity… that you’ve been showing until now, and your becoming duchess…”

    · Eros: “Fine. I’ll let that slide. It was rude, but I can manage. But antagonizing me when I am taking on a risk is a different story.”

    · Eros, close to Medea with a smirk on his face: “Choose me.”

    · Medea seems in shock; she is neither blushing nor anything. Just confused on how she got in the embrace.

    · Eros: “Then I will consider your past impertinence an adorable kitten’s scratch.”

    · Eros swoops Medea’s hair behind her hair, while Medea let’s out a sigh.

    · Medea, in thought: The analogy… was laughable. Even an animal cannot live after harming a member of the Imperial family. Eros is telling me… that he will forgive me although I deserve to be executed… in exchange for my sitting on his lap and acting cute.

    · It is still raining.

    · Medea, speaking: “Your Highness… From the moment I was born, I was betrothed to you… and destined to be Empress.”

    · Medea, smiling knowingly: “If you hadn’t eliminated me during the competition… I would not have become the head of the Solons. Rather, I may have been helping you as the crown princess.”

    · Medea, in thought: But everything has changed. Eros. That one choice… that you made… changed our fates. This is… the path you chose.

    · Eros seems suspicious and is about to say something.

    · Medea, saying: “I will answer your wish with my actions.”

    · Eros: “Go right ahead. I hope you will bring me a gift that will make my hard work seem worthwhile.”

    · Medea: “… I have a question. Do you even love me?”

    · Medea, in thought: I’ve always wondered. Why won’t Eros let me go? Why does he want me back? He threw me away, so he shouldn’t care what happens to me. So why is he doing this? Naturally… I have an inkling. He was the heir to the Empire… who never had anything taken from him in his entire life.

    · Medea touches one of her ornaments on her suit, while thinking: Medea Solon, who was his partner from the start… belonged to him. He owned everything in the world. He self-proclaimed that he’d become a god.”

    · Eros, talking: “… I guess even you say absurd things. You’re just useful, that’s all.”

    · Eros looks back at Medea: “Also… your brooch fell off.”

    · Medea: “Your clothes are disheveled as well.”

    · Eros: “… Are they? I can’t go anywhere like this. Since there’s no one here, fix it for me.”

    · Medea: “…If you come down from your horse.”

    · Medea nonchalantly puts on his brooch, while Eros looks inquiringly at her.

    · Medea, in thought: “Eros. You are still human… Even if you kill people like bugs and look down on everyone… you were born human. And I know… what is the most sickening emotion a human being can have.”

    · Medea puts her own brooch on Eros suit.

    · Medea, in thought: “The disgusting thing that makes even the greatest hero weak. If discovered by someone very cunning… it can become a fatal flaw.”

    · Medea feels Eros heartbeat pounding.

    · Medea, looking mockingly knowing.

    · Medea, in thought: It is called love.

EPSODE 102 (The one with the picture.):

    · Medea is about to walk away, but Eros grabs Medea’s wrist last second.

    · Medea, in thought: Eros loves me.

    · Medea, in thought: This should… terrify me.

    · Eros then bites down on her wrist, which is a bad place to bite someone, but these are fictional characters. He looks defying in Medea’s eyes. A silent, “Don’t try anything funny, you belong to me. Don’t you dare turn your back on me and play games” look.

    · There is a scene with Medea looking mortified, while holding the hand Eros bit defensively close to her. As if she is scared and mortified, I wonder why the author makes her seem this way? Is this not supposed to be a moment of love? D: (I will come back to this in a bit.)

    · Medea, in thought: “However, I simply accepted it. Because it answered all of my questions of “why?”

    · Medea, still in thought: Eros loves me. But he is pretending not to. Because he knows it would be fatal for him if anyone found out.

    · Medea looks at the bite mark Eros gave.

    · Eros, talking: “… We’re alike, remember? That is why I have high expectations… I can’t wait to see how much this Empire flourishes once you and I work together… and how remarkable our children will be…”

    · Eros, smirks before uttering the rest: “If they inherit our brains and beauty.”

    · Medea bites her lips, looking murderous at Eros. The whole panel has the word “Nauseous” surrounding her, meaning she felt disgust at the mention of having children with him. (R.I.P ship. Failed to sail even when you were supposed to take off.)

    · Medea, in thought: He is intentionally speaking about official matters. That’s how much he fears letting his emotions show. But it’s too late. I know already. It’s laughable watching him try so hard.”

    · Medea smiles with her eyes closed, saying: “You truly are wise, your Highness.”

    · Eros looks disappointed, and has his fist clenched?

    · Medea, taking: “I’m sure you don’t love me. If you did, you would never have made me feel so pathetic.” (Hard rejection.)*

    · Medea, continuing: For someone in your position, love is a luxury you can’t afford.

    · Eros smiles bitterly, and like he wants to choke Medea to death for humiliating him.*

    · Eros rides into the dawn, and that’s what we see of him in this scene, though here is Medea and her continuation on this scene, since you seem to have forgotten it:

    - Medea, in thought: “So this is how it feels… to hurt someone who loves you by feigning ignorance. I sincerely pity Psyche… for being played by you.”

    - Medea remembers Helio, and feels regret(?) for a moment? She then thinks: “Although I’m in no position to judge.”

    - Medea looks nonchalant, looking at the bitten arm. She then says: “Oh. A bug bit my arm…”

    - Medea looks at the bite, which is hidden from view.

    - Medea, saying her thoughts out loud: “Maybe I was mistaken. We’re alike…?”

    - Medea, in thought: “Eros. You and I are not alike. I don’t want to be like you.”

In these scenes, Medea clearly seems uncomfortable with Eros admitting he would murder lives carelessly for a goal and being not comfortable with him biting her. How do I know? Because the body language of the characters. SAM wouldn’t have drawn Medea looking comfortable, by telling the audience she was feeling nauseous or shown her heartbeat going up and holding her suit as if she was squeezing a stress ball. (She also wouldn’t have made Eros facepalm.) This scene is supposed to make the audience feel uncomfortable. Eros is in love with Medea. Ok, but Medea is not in love with him.

Now you might make the claim she was in denial, which I have to say is not the case. Medea, while acknowledging she is bad, does not want to be Eros level of bad. Her going on a rant of love being disgusting, was the knowledge of being right. Eros loves her, and she hates that. It is only in the end, with the line “… Because it answered all of my questions of “why?”” that she has fully accepted it. She admits it is the truth, a truth that could put Eros in danger. Eros knows, and Medea knows. So, Eros is afraid to lose control over his infatuation with Medea. After all, from the faces he was making at her open rejection*, he seems to know deep down that Medea doesn’t feel the same way. Which means he must have her. She is someone compelled to not be his. He finds it an insult she moved on and became Duchess. That’s why he gave her a chance to prove herself, that she will “follow” him. Medea wants to use this to her full advantage. To take him down because she does not want to become him. I would even go as far to say, that Eros is an evil Medea sees herself might become, so she wants to kill it. It doesn’t help that she promised to kill him in Episode 17(?) to Psyche.

To my last point, I see that Medea did relate to Eros. Though she does not relate to him in political views, or the justify of murder**. No, she interestingly related her situation with Helio, as the same with Eros and Psyche. She always had a sense of guilt in how she treated Helio, because she feels responsible in making him who he is, codependent on her through trauma. (She even expresses the want of Helio to move on, and protects him from Eros, since she knows that if he hurt Eros, Eros could legally behead him. Read Episode 191-192 on Webtoon, and if you still disagree, we can discuss elsewhere***). She doesn’t want to be like Eros, yet she treats the one closes to her, in a way Psyche was treated by Eros. That is Medea’s reflection. So, I apologize in not seeing this, thought it doesn’t necessarily mean she related to Eros specifically.

To make a long argument short, Medea body language says no to Eros and his weird advances. She compares her relationship with Helio to Eros and Psyches past relationship.

**(Before you use Episode 1, Medea murdered the knight in emotional distress. Her nanny (real mother figure) died; her abusive parents saw her as someone who tarnished their name for not winning the Crown Princess competition. On top of it all, she had to deal with Psyche and her “betrayal” for taking the throne. She did not murder the Psyches knight out of carelessness for his life, but to take someone dear from Psyche. Medea blamed Psyche for the murder of her nanny. After all, her nanny wouldn’t have died such a brutal death if Medea won. That is how Medea thought at the time. Did it give her right to murder someone? No. Are those actions more explainable than Eros murdering just because he can, and it will benefit him in the end? Yes. Are those two different reasons for murder? Yeah. You see my point. If not, let me make it clear: Medea and Eros murder people for different reasons. None of them are good, but one was necessary evil while the other is on the true evil spectrum and hasn’t changed from season 1.)

***(I messaged you and sent my Discord username. I do not want to continue the debate here and would gladly discuss idea’s somewhere else where I won’t have to stop people from seeing spoilers. I understand if you feel more comfortable here, though.)

To this picture, it is from Ep 127, where Eros goes:

    · “They say a kiss on the back of the hand shows respect. And a kiss on the palm of the hand… means resentment.” So… you resent Naynay? Cool, I guess? Why not block them? If you resent her so much.

Seriousness aside, I think the Eros bug insult started from Ep 102, since Medea says a bug bit her. Though we know it was Eros. Yeah…
And Mone with long hair is hot. That's it.

Well i ll tackle first ch 101 n 102, where i found Medea's attitude outta character portrayed so far from ch 1 when she faced off a honest Eros who was being blunt to her.

Btw dat "don't try to play games" , is dat your interpretation or did he actually mumble this?

    Ch 101

As we all know Eros came to ask Medea to join him even tho he would succeed anyway in his plan because he cares for her, she is still a mystery to him but at that point he is not thinking it through but acting upon whats driving him into getting closer to Medea.

Remember he alr considered her his woman at that point of the series...

In this chapter Medea took was the most logical out of them, and ask the right questions and gave Eros the most logical response while he was trying to make Medea understand what he really want.
By saying that he'd consider Medea's boldness n impertinence as an adorable kitten's scratch, its a way for him to admit defeat or should i say the things that Medea has done so far DID AFFECT HIM on every level including the emotional, obviously and thats why he even took the time out to mention it.

(when you are making a deal with your opponent/enemy/adversary/or whatever you wanna call them, the best way is to admit that they can actually be a real menace to you but at the same time balancing it off with the fact no matter what the circumstance may be, you can still pull through- Art of the deal).

Eros is an arrogant person, so this kinda line shouldnt have surprised Medea at all.
Eros Orna Esperanto has the Means to back up his arrogance and his god complex and that is the real threat not whatever comes out of his mouth.

In this chapter Medea failed to understand the big picture. Her thought process was far fetched from reality, she went on downgrading him to a bug (which was also arrogance ) and mocking his love which was still at the initial phase, damn she really went off on him in her thoughts, lol.

But for me the worst part was when she started to portray love as the greatest of weakness and planning on using it against Eros. (Uno reverse, isnt that what Eros ended up using against her, knowing that Helio cares for her).

Be careful what you wish for!

Here is what she forgot, love is a double edged sword. Where it can be a weakness, it can also be strength. Its funny cuz at the end she did relate to him but tried hard to deny that fact. I mean, a villain is telling you that you are alike, damn that means you must be sthg else, lol.

The irony, is that at some point Medea ended up tasting what falling in love feels like, and how you have to hide that love either way you'd lose them forever. And yes, Eros also knows about it, so until he becomes more confident or a god he should keep his real feelings hidden, locked n sealed away.

That bite is a gesture of love which expresses a strong desire that one can have for the other person. It hurts but it also feels good, isnt that being in love?

    (To be continued)

I understand the popular opinion, but before making any further comments, please reread chapter 208 or the spoilers for chapter 208, the reason why Eros apologised for being rude to Mone.
Eros' father recounted that Psyche's ancestors possessed divine power. Psyche herself had the potential to become dangerous and needed to be eliminated. However, thanks to Count Polly's plea for mercy, the child was spared and raised in the basement. The Emperor pondered whether to conceal the truth of the oracle until his death, allowing the secret to be buried with him. Eros then asked the Emperor if he could marry Psyche, as she had saved his life, proving her affection for him. Moreover, marrying Psyche would strengthen the imperial family's power, and Psyche would be happier living with Eros than being imprisoned in the basement.

Psyche was sent to the temple, and the Pope gave her a drink from a cup that would prevent her from leaving the country, just like Mone. The Pope reprimanded her, saying that Eros should have died, but Psyche had brought him back to life. Afterwards, Psyche was returned to her parents.

Mone attended the party, and everyone was stunned by her beauty. After meeting Eve, Mone learned the honesty and boldness, which allowed him to fit in at the party. Eve feigned illness and did not attend.

Mone's valet returned to the temple to report something and the pope said that Mone was a "special child".

On the ship, Eros asked Mone for permission to marry Psyche. He apologised for being rude to his "future father-in-law" the last time and asked if he could be a good groom. Mone asked Eros what his intentions were, and Eros replied that Psyche liked him and wanted Mone to hand Psyche over to him, as he would use Psyche's power to increase the power of the imperial family. Mone thought that Eros was unaware of the truth about the oracle, so he would take advantage of him. Eros said that he wanted to return power to the imperial family and because Mone and Psyche were victims of the Pope, and Mone grew up in the temple, they would work together to kill the Pope. The last panel is the thumbnail of Chapter 211

Eros' last line is interesting because I wonder what caused him to change. because his words about wanting to kill the pope contradict his actions right now in the present timeline of the story. Unless the last line of young Eros is just a facade to get Mone's trust.

Now I don't know if it's just me but some of Eros' actions contradict his present timeline character (actually even Mone lmfao) now granted kid Eros might have gone through drastic changes after but I doubt someone like him who is ambitious and takes pride on what he stands with can change that fast. maybe just me, feel free to disagree

So Eros Orna Esperanto was once in love with Psyche, damn my ship is sailing in the past, lol.

Anyway we are all curious as to what made him change so much or he never really changed and is putting on facade but GODDAMN cant wait when Eros and Psyche will start dating:bloblove:

Uh, how does Eros' answer to Mone actually speaks love to you? It's pure transactional, and about her having affection for him rather than the other way round.
