A lot has happened up to volume 19 web novel

Sudo got Elena to estrange herself from Mikoshiba after reuniting her with her supposed dead daughter or giving information that her daughter is still alive but the organization has her however not sure but it seems shes also not on the Queens side.

Unknown army invades the South Rhoadseria, possibly linked to the organization helping Ryouma since many of the nobles participating in the northern expedition against Ryouma are from the South hence it’s one of those strategies where when the nobles find out their territories and estates are under attack with their families back home in danger now it’ll force them to abandon queen lupis army and return back to their territories with the troops they brought with them.

Sudo planning on turning the Church into Ryouma's enemy however this bares no consequence since Ryouma was planning on becoming their enemy in the first place. Only bad part is that Asuka is with the church forces who joined the northern expedition so possible reunion soon to be coming.

Apparently Ryouma with traps set up in the fortress city manages to turn the battle from defence to offence and Queen lupis seems to have run low on troops forcing the battle in Ryouma’s favor. The ones leading the queens army are both meltina and mickael so no surprise their Ryouma is winning.

Tensions between Ryouma and Elena as they meet and talk somewhere after Elena threatens the ninja girls life and Ryouma comes to the rescue. Again not sure which side Elena is taking as Sudo has her following his orders for the sake of her daughter. Its possible Ryouma may have to kill her.

But Ryoma does employ the strategy where he traps the queens army inside the fortress then burns it down from the inside while outside archers fire on fleeing enemy soldiers. Queens army suffer heavy loses but continue onward to the wortenia domain where Ryoma decisively repels the queens army from their mountain fortress.

Can someone give me a summary of the events that happened through vol 20-22 of the LN? Expecially interested on the relationship between ryouma and Elena after vol. 19 events

 

You'd be better off asking this in a spoiler thread since this thread is supposed to be for the most recent English translation (which is only half-way through volume 19).

 

if its the same as before you get 6 arcs worth of monologue with hardly anything happening

 

Can someone please tell me where I can read the light novel? All the pdf websites I've seen with pdfs up until volume 18 seems shady. Please respond if you know.

That's before the light novel was getting translated, when the Japanese light novel was at volume 10, when the web novel translation was at Arc 6 Chapter 6, and the Japanese web novel was at Arc 6 Chapter 17...

 

I wonder if this will get an anime adaptation

You’ll probably have to look on some scapper site for the English translations. Honestly a waste of time though since the author abandoned it and the light novel goes further.
