Discussion I dont like reading on my laptop

I usually prefer my phone or a tablet. I think a laptop or pc screen is too big, too wide, and too distracting... I used to enjoy a book too, but now it's kinda heavy? and when the page closes on its own, it's pretty annoying haha

I like reading on my laptop but I can also read on my phone. But it turns out I can't click chapter links on NU's novel pages with my phone to reach the page so I have go take effort into searching for the site and searching up the novel there.

Phone is so much more convenient to snuggle up and read before bed.

 

I used to read from my laptop, but i changed to phone since i have my phone with me more than me having to bring my laptop everywhere. Especially when my laptop started having problems.
Now i cant read for a long time on my laptop without my eyes feeling strained

 

Well…statistically speaking there isn’t much difference in terms of screen on using a laptop or tablet.
It’s just when we use laptop keyboard is in the way and we can’t rotate the screen to be vertical as in the case of tablet.
But their screen size doesn’t have much difference…
But yeah I like tab more cause it’s a headache when laptop takes a long time to open and then refresh….

 

Same, same. I don’t know how many thousands of fanfics and comics I used to read on my computer. Now I read them all on my phone. But that also means I haven’t read much manga in a long time, because it’s hard to read on the phone. Someday, I’d like to continue reading One Piece, Magus’ Bride, and Kuroshitsuji…

 

tablets are smaller and easier to carry around~

that said, if a book is too heavy for you, you should do some push ups...

yah plus my laptop heavy so carrying it to the bed is a bit uncomfy

hahaha yeah, laptop screen feels farther than a phone screen, tho it's good that you can open multiple tabs easily with a laptop

I lie down to read so it's either my phone or kindle. Prefer to read on laptop after lying down too long and getting bed sores tho hahaha

 

I too prefer reading on Stormi’s phone than laptop.
But for real, I prefer reading on my Lenovo laptop since the ad block is co convenient and see o be more impactful than my apple iPad or iPhone, which only blocks out selective adds. It’s true that I would enjoy my reading experience more on an iPad or iPhone but the ads are just not fun to deal with.

 

My first choice for reading a book is an actual paper book. Nothing beats reading a normal book.
My second choice for reading a book is an e-reader because it has the best screen and look for reading, and the best battery life for electronic devices that you can read on.
My third choice is a desktop. Because most sites are just easier to navigate and also it has more reading options/text customization, such as font, text size, and page color.
And the last option is a phone. Because the screen is too small and navigation is inconvenient. But in all honesty, I am either 50-50 on a desktop and a phone, or might even be more on the phone, but only because I am reading in places I don't have a desktop.

Phones are actually so unergonomic to hold omg i actually have a cramp in my hand from reading on my phone..... and I only read on my phone when im not at home
