Spoiler: Ch. 203 (ENDING) Leo and Geurim are standing outside the castle in England. Leo: “Wow~it came back like a ghost?” Geurim: “A vampire’s castle that hasn’t lost its owner will never fall…” Leo: “So what do you want to do? Want to go inside together?” Geurim: “No, I don’t like it.” Leo: “Ah, that’s right, haha~ Well, I’ll be back then.” Leo opens the door and heads inside. The castle is the same as it was. He walks forward and stops at the middle of the hall. He has flashbacks of him and Rose conversing together at that same spot. Rose: “What’s wrong, Leo, why are you sulking?” Leo: “You were having so much fun earlier? Holding hands with another man and laughing.” Rose: “It was a party, Leo~ You also seemed to have a lot of fun with the other ladies there?” Leo: “Hmmph! That’s because you weren’t looking at me.” Rose: “….Father was watching. You know that too, don’t you? He’s watching you a lot. If you even get the slightest bit close to me — you know what he’ll do.” Leo falls silent. Rose: “Why? Were you that sad? Do you want to dance together right now? Huhu...Your face really resembles Father’s a lot.” She touches his chin gently, then pulls her hand back. Rose: “…Well, I like that about you.” A long time ago, heartwarming moments like that, which were always filled with feelings of love …were so much different than how Father felt about me. Rose: “Leo, I hope that you can walk a path that is different from Father’s.” Leo: “What? Of course, that’s obvious — Who do you take me for —“ Rose: “Haha, isn’t that right? So, are you going to dance with me or what?” She reaches out towards him. Leo stares at it, eyes wide and yellow. In the present, Leo extends his hand as he recalls those memories. Some time later: Gemino suddenly stands from his chair at his desk. Papers fly everywhere. Gemino: “WHAT?! YOU’RE GOING TO LEAVE THE CASTLE?!!!!” Leo: “Yeah, you seem to be a pretty good castle lord from what I’ve been hearing? I don’t think I need to be here anymore.” Gemino: “NO, NO, NO! THIS WORK ISN’T RIGHT FOR ME!! IT’S NOT SUITED FOR ME AT ALL!! DON’T YOU THINK SO TOO?” He looks towards the servant girl next to him. She gives him a thumbs up and a big smile. “Gemino-nim is the best!” Gemino: “NO, NOT THAT!!” Leo: “…Look, Gemino. I’m a human now — “ Gemino looks at him, surprised. Leo: “For me to remain here as the castle lord, that’s only going to embarrass me even more. If you and I keep competing to see who’s going to take over here, won’t that end up causing another war?” Gemino: “….do you, have any thoughts about becoming a vampire again?” Leo stays silent and thinks about the time when Rose asked him why vampires have eternal life while humans only get to live once, yet believe in a “next life.” Leo: If that’s the case — “I also want to die as a human —“ Some time later. Gemino stands in front of the window, looking outside. Gemino: “I saw the future in which Leo came to the castle, but for him to leave after showing his face briefly was unexpected. For him to leave this castle after having all these memories with Rose…is there, a reason for him to live a new life now…. He sees Leo walking away from the castle with Geurim. His gaze focuses on the young adult. He turns away and sighs out loud. Should I take care of the most urgent matters first… He takes out a pen and paper and begins to write. The story began as it ended. The biggest incident that tied us down has now ended, so in the future, another one is bound to emerge. And with the ending’s beginning, change is inevitably going to arrive, with someone leaving — Leo: “Are you going to be okay with leaving and not saying a word?” Geurim: “Yeah, I’ll be fine. I can meet whenever I want to now — “ The vacant spot will soon be replaced by someone else anyway. “I cannot see the distant future.” Cause and effect is ultimately unpredictable, and so, wouldn’t a vampire’s life be a little more enjoyable. YS and CA are walking together in a park, surrounded by other people. She is eating ice cream as they are holding hands. YS: “So what are you going to be doing? Are you going to finish writing that book you were working on?” CA: “Mmm…I’m going to stop writing about you.” The purpose was achieved anyways… “Even though writing is hard, it’s actually pretty fun. Ah~isn’t there some good material somewhere~” She begins to wander off, but YS holds her hand tightly. YS: “Do you want to think about that while traveling? CA: “Travel? But I like home…Where to? I’m sure you’ve been everywhere.” YS: “No? There’s a lot of places I haven’t been to.” CA: “Eh? What were you doing your entire life? YS: “Haha! I intentionally didn’t go to the places where I wanted to go.” CA: “Why?” YS: “Knowing everything isn’t going to be fun.” YS: Is there anything more sickening than not being curious about anything in eons of time? “I saved that so you can peel that off if you’re ever really bored or tired.” CA: “What. Since you’re saying it like that now I want to have a bite of yours. Let me eat it too, your ice cream. Where is that place?” YS: “Haha! Enjoy to your heart’s content~” CA: “….can we really go? If you go with me, then I won’t be curious about that place anymore.” YS turns and looks at her. YS: “It’s fine now. There’s something else I’m more curious about.” She looks at him through her sunglasses. CA: We’re walking like a normal couple. We’ll probably be blended in among all these people. They don’t know… She hands him her ice cream cone. “Wanna try?” He swoops down and takes a bite. CA: “HEY!!” YS: “Uggh…” CA: “What the, is this your first time eating ice cream?” YS: “There’s no reason for me to eat it…” CA: “Wow, so you’re a picky eater? Haha!” He leans down and kisses her cheek. CA: “HEY! HERE…!” Her face gets red as he begins to laugh. They soon disappear into the crowd. The footnotes at the ending do mention something about news of a book release after the author returns from a 3 week break. We'll see what she has in store! There'd better be worldwide shipping, otherwise I'm using a forwarding service lol. Thank you for your mention!! I honestly expected a very happy ending for all the characters (ex. a wedding scene??), and for the chapter to focus more on YS and CA, but it feels refreshing that all the characters have a fresh start in life. I feel a bit sad for Leo but it seems like he has a new purpose to live for now, which is taking care of Geurim. YS can finally focus on CA as Geurim seems to be in good hands under the care of Leo, who has appeared to gain some more wisdom throughout the series. Gemino was an unexpected appearance (not entirely called for IMO) and I'm surprised a minor character like him is still alive, but he is less bloodthirsty than his predecessor, so things will remain peaceful in the vampire realm. I honestly did not want to pick up this series at first because it was labeled a thriller. I expected to see a lot of gore and mystery like the webtoon "Who Killed Me/누가 나를 죽였을까" but because I did not see a lot of that, I kept reading. I was into Victorian era romance before starting this but now modern contemporary romance also appeals to me now. Slow-paced romance is not for me (and still isn't because of my lack of patience lol) but the author did a great job of building up to that point. The wait was definitely worth it. I wish there were other webtoons like this. I started reading "For the Queendom" because it was in my suggestions but stopped. Way more smut than expected and an awful lot of gore. If anyone has any recommendations that would be nice! I have a LONG list of KR webtoons I've abandoned halfway. Manta has some good stuff lately but not all the time. Currently enjoying "High Society"!
Not really similar at all but my fav manhwa is Unlucky Mansion! Might be a nice change of pace from Olgami, and it's also (sorta) enemies to lovers. Thank you again so much for translating for us!!! I too will be using a forwarding service if there's no worldwide shipping....this manhwa has taken up so much of my life what's a couple more dollars.....

I've used Harumio before 2 years ago to forward stuff from Korea to US. Can't wait to see how much shipping has increased since then
