Spoiler Request So, it's been a year since I made this and other than the brother apparently being ML (since all 3 are not related at all), nothing new, huh?
Based on the raw and my limited understanding of japanese, the manga are more focused in how FL grow her famously known F rank (she got bullied for this), since shes have zero knowledged on magic, etc. shes working hard to raised them with help by Big Bro magic training at night, at school studying while being bullied and also gaining trusted friends along the way, and then when the magic brooch being gifted to shows student magic rank shes in C rank (this makes people at her class that bullied her shock and turned awkward towards her, the bully also shamed because they rank lower than her). About relationship Jenny already confess to Big Bro that shes much more deserving to be his partner, but Big bro aint seeing her in that light so he rejected her (but this aint stop her for hating FL). FL relationship with Big Bro grows and he also keep helping her when she got bullied (when she trapped in gym storage, when shes being kidnapped, etc.). When they goes for an outing together FL gift Big Bro earring as a thanks for always helping her and then Big Bro give the other half of the earring to her (i forgor what he said but after this they wearing a matching earring on both ears, i guess they bought another one). Big Bro slowly turned possessive along the way with FL. About the bully, after FL raised to C rank they stop BUT she got another bully because of how close shes with her Big Bro, his friend and her other friends (because they're cool guy) so yeah now shes bullied by envy girls including the white lotus lil sis. There one time at sport festival FL being bullied (she being made fallen in the ground and then got bad mouthed by lil sis and friend) but then got help by Theodore (idk who he is but he always with the glasses guy and never had conversation with FL), the girls surprised because FL this shows FL also close with him, this makes them goes silent. About the boys: - Big Bro (Julius): Interested after seeing amnesia FL. Helping her raised her rank by teaching her magic. Wanted her to be S Rank. The more he get affectioned with her the more possessive he is with FL. - Big Bro Friend (forgot his name): The cool and kind guy. He once proposed to FL to be her partner but Big Bro said nope. He help FL how to ride a horse. - FL classmate (the red haired): FL and him are in the same group at chemistry class, after that they become closer. - Arnold: The glasses guy. He and FL got stuck inside Gym Storage together, while waiting for someone to open the Gym Storage he help FL studying, after that they got close and he keep teach FL study and practice sword for sport festival. - Theodore: the blond guy. He always with Arnold. He help FL when shes fall from bullied. - Reinhart: He first shows up wearing glasses and low ponytail. He was being beatened up by 3 people and then FL come to help him. He stop wearing glasses and low ponytail after that and the bully stop. At chapter 10 up he shows his yandere side when he interrogated the culprit that stole FL pencilcase. The sus part about this manga is theres something that Big Bro hiding from FL and its about the truth behind why he help FL and why he wanted her to be rank S. This is as much as I understand if theres mistake please correct me. Im cheering for FLxArnold but it doesnt seem goes that way
Incredibly minor spoiler So, I went to check the 2nd to the last chapter and it was just the leads practicing magic. Julius reassuring MC if anything bad happens, he'll take control. At the end of practice, MC attempts to either hug or kiss Julius (the narration mentions she tackles him but eventually on another sentence mentions teeth getting hit). So, yep Julius end and if the chapter is anything to go by, it's definitely a practice magic to raise to the top series

Spoiler: Original novel link The novel is posted by the author for free at ncode.syosetu.com LINK The novel is unfinished yet (the latest chapter was published in March), there are quite a lot of chapters available but the story hasn’t moved ahead that much imo. I obviously don’t know the ending and as far as I was just skimming through, skipping chapters and using MTL take the spoilers below with a grain of salt. Spoiler: Blood relation between ML and MC Around the middle of the story (or currently available chapters) Julius has told MC that they are not related by blood after he was bitten by some snake that makes you spill the truth. The poison also had aphrodisiac effect. He hasn’t explained any further details, bit MC’s neck in a passionate way trying to fight the aphrodisiac effects and then passed out. MC thought it was a joke, but later another person (Anne, more info below) confirms that they are not blood related. Spoiler: MC’s family situation MC is ML’s step-sister brought in by her mother who was the second wife and passed away some time ago. The maid from the first chapter wouldn’t know these details because she was hired 3 months ago. MC’s mother had to marry ML’s father because he needed a cover wife because of his affair with a married woman and the mother’s family had money issues. She has died of some illness (official version) but her ex husband doesn’t think that was the case. Yes, MC has a biological father who is alive and a sister or brother named Luca. I don’t know the details about her parents divorce and why the siblings where separated and why the father was away, but he said they have been writing letters and meeting each other 10 years ago, but when the mother remarried they were not allowed to meet anymore. The father is baron, he’s very handsome and has recently remarried to a nice lovely lady called Moira, who also has a child. The father said something about him being a commoner so I wonder if he has become a baron after marrying Moira or it was an mtl mistake about commoners. During their first meeting the father has realized that MC is not the OG Rene but MC has hinted that OG Rene is happy where she is and he seemed relieved. Spoiler: Why OG Rene didn’t like ML and some family beef So apparently OG Rene thought that ML had something to do with her mother’s illness and death, so she said she won’t forgive ML ever. Judging by her biological father’s words the mother wasn’t sick and there’s some secret behind her death that he possibly knows. He’s very bitter about the count and calls him trash, my assumption is the count has gotten rid of his second wife (more details below). ML also doesn’t have a good opinion of his biological father, the count. He has hated him, because he thinks that the count has made his mother (the first wife) commit suicide. Apparently the count was lovers with his current 3rd wife since before his first marriage and they continued their relationship for years. She was also married btw. So I would assume that when she got widowed or divorced her husband they both got rid of MC’s mother (the second wife who was used to cover their affair) and the evidence probably pointed to ML somehow. Or the step-sister told MC some lies to ruin the relationship with ML. Count couple (not sure if it was only the step-mother or father also involved) were pushing ML to marry his step-sister, because according to him and mtl they wanted to take over his inheritance. From this info I can only speculate that there’s a high possibility that the original title and money came from his mother’s side. So to avoid marrying and divorcing the step-sister ML was pushing himself hard to become S rank to be in a high respected position to get rid of the leeches. He said to MC that he didn’t want to kill people, but by the way he worded this it sounded like he was ready to it if needed. I can also only speculate that the step-sister is not an affair child between the count and his 3rd wife, otherwise the parents would have been too unhinged to push 2 full blood siblings to marry each other just to steal some money. I haven’t seen any mentions of ML’s feelings for OG Rene, so I don’t know whether he took interest in MC after transmigration and whether he liked OG Rene or just wanted to marry her because she was a better choice than the other step-sister. Spoiler: OG Rene There’s an accident during some cultural festival and MC is hurt by an explosion. During that time OG Rene takes over the body, she’s devastated that she’s back and is throwing herself from the top of the stairs. During that time MC is back to her original world as well. Some tall man whom she apparently knows enters her apartment like they are close, but it’s not revealed to the readers who he is, because MC faints and comes to her senses back in the game world. She makes a conclusion that OG Rene is happy to live her life in the modern world and is doing great there. So much that she’s ready to risk everything and try suicide just to get back there. Spoiler: Anna There’s at least one more transmigrator in the story named Anna. Her name was mentioned in the chapters along with Dylan, so he could also be somehow aware of transmigration or be another transmigrator. Spoiler: MC’s death flags Anna knows more about the story (either played herself or was told by her friend/sibling about all details). She reveals to MC that her life is in danger because every school term (or year) MC has to increase her rank. If she doesn’t - she faces the bad ending. Spoiler: Cecil (cousin) There’s also a cousin Cecil who as far as I understood was in love or just had good relationship with OG Rene. MTL wasn’t very clear and I’ve been skipping chapters, so I can’t guarantee it’s true, but looks like he possibly was a person who told MC about Anne, and I’m not sure about this at all, but he could have realized that MC is not OG Rene. I thought she has told him about transmigration, but their later interactions don’t confirm this. Spoiler: MC’s relationships with targets MC has become friends with many targets, one of the boys (Reinhardt or similar sounding name) even has confessed to her after she announced that she started going out with ML. He said he knew from the start that he won’t be able to compete with ML for her attention, but anyways he wishes her all the best and she says she’s happy about his feelings and loves him too, but in a different way. So the romantic line is basically standard teenage reverse harem where all or almost all 2nd MLs love MC from afar, help her with her studies, save her, support her regardless and respect her choice.

Both girl was step-daughter of the second and third wife. the father want to have heir with high magic so married the new wife with magic potential daughter, he let them compete and the one with higher rank got to married the son.
