    Does your animal like...ever move?

I've been on the leopard gecko and crusted gecko subreddits lately. And while I know pictures taken for the purpose of making them look cute would make them look cute so bias forms but-

Do Leopard geckos even do anything?

Like crusted gecko subreddit shows them doing various things, walking all goofy, hiding in their owner's sleeves, climbing up their neck, perching on their hand.

Whereas the leopard gecko subreddits barely ever have any video content. The little that they do is either a timelapse of the shedding or the gecko curiously looking at something new bought to it, like fish or video game controller.

Nope! I used to own one and it never moved when I was looking, once I released crickets for it to eat and one literally sat on his head and he still had no reaction. Leopard Geckos are cute, but definitely not very entertaining to watch.

The only time they probably will move is when they want to bite something. Either their food or you.

Not an owner, but I heard that geckos in general are nocturnal. So... maybe the timing? And probably you should turn down the brightness to simulate dawn/dusk
