So, her people weren't massacred, but sold as slaves. Ans Bertram betrayed her! Oh no, poor Kaya. I hope she finds freedom and peace, she deserves it (preferably with Erkin). Bertram gave me a bad feeling since the beginning, but I discarded my bad feelings because I started to trust him.

I also realized that since the morning the prince left to the moment Erkin discovered Kaya's identity, it all had to happen in like 2, 3 or 4 days, but not more than that.

I also want to add that when she ran away from Felton's castle, the first thing that came to her mind was Erkin calling her name, and then she started calling his, until she saw him in the forest glade. Lol, this isn't relevant to that betrayal, but it really shows how deep her feelings are, and I also think she sees him like some kind of savior, considering her thoughts about him in the next episodes.
I admit I didn't pay attention to that part. If you want to complete some parts I didn't summarize, please, go on.

Edit: someone should make an edit with Taylor's song "the great war", I think it fits well with this story literally and metaphorically.

(Edited) I read episode 124 again, and I realized Kaya threatened the king because he said he would get rid of the northerner, Erkin, because, it seems, he figured out there was something going on between them. He was like "You're doing this for that northerner, right? Did he charm you? If you leave, I'll get rid of him!". And then she snapped, almost killed the king, but then agreed to kill Felton. (Well, the translation isn't exactly accurate).
Edit 2: Sorry for the grammar mistakes, lol. I already corrected them.

I can't believe I missed this when I tried MTLing 124. Oh God, the dread I felt when that happened, no wonder Kaya reacted the way she did

Yeah. Now, her reaction makes more sense, and her decision to "kill" Felton.

Edit: I'm going to keep reading the official and unofficial English translations and look for more important details we missed.

I was thinking, now that the part 2 will return in less than a week, what are your theories or predictions?
What do you think could happen with Kaya and Erkin and the other characters?

What do you think will happen to Kaya if she was burned? Honestly, I think she can survive anything except for being lit on fire. I'm worried that in the end, she's probably going to end up dying. :sweating_profusely::sweating_profusely: Isn't that the vision that one of her knights saw- a flame and someone holding her up. :blobcat_rawr:

Really anything could happen at this point but I assume Erkin and Kaya will head North and maybe eventually find that mysterious old lady that Erkin met on his and Griselda's trip to the North. I have no idea where that will lead but maybe we'll learn more about Kariya and the origin of Kaya's powers. I feel like Erkin and Kaya will eventually work through it, especially if Erkin learns more about Kaya's past and reasons for participating in the war. I'm praying that Erkin's empathy wins, but it's going to be a tough road.
I assume that Albrecht will be making things very difficult for them both trying to find them.
The person I'm the most worried about is Griselda right now, but she might have allies in Terion and Prince Leonard.
I think Terion is going to be in the midst of another crisis of loyalty (poor guy can't catch a break). He's probably the only one who can implicate Albrecht for killing the king, but given how weak he is to his uncle he's going to have a rough time deciding. I am see him trying to stick up for Griselda though.
As for Leonard, I predict he's going to get thrown into a fun succession battle against his Aunt and that shitweasel Dion, and you bet Albrecht will be trying to pull strings there as well.
What are the chances of an eventual Leonard, Griselda, Terion team up? Because I kind of want to see that.
I look forward to seeing how right (or horribly wrong) I end up being. :blobpopcorn:

Like I have already said, I think Kaya (if she survives till' the end) will most likely, end up without powers, becausw she wasn'tborn with them, so it makes sense if she decides to return them at the end. This is how she could get rid of her illness. And because no one will be able to use her as a weapon again, because she'll be a normal person again.

I also think she and Erkin will, at some point, make amends, but it will take time. Kaya and Erkin have something in common: they have always felt like they don't belong anywhere, I think they'll find a home (again) in each other.

There will be some game of thrones-like drama in the capital, and Terion will be in a crossroad (metaphorically), but his sister and Anneta will help him to realize who's the real enemy, like Zuko in Avatar, but in this case, the villain is the uncle, not the sister.

Idk about Gris and Heisy, but I think Kaya (idk if Erkin too) will return, at some point, to the capital to help her friends.

With this new poster I'm starting to believe that my theory isn't that wrong.
I already read the locked episodes, but I don't have time the rest of the week to post them, so, I will only summarize the free one:

Starting with the episode we have a new charactefr already. Her name is Lysa (or something like that), she has green hair and she's talking with the people who are traveling with her in a cart. She's asking their names, and everybody answers, except Erkin and Kaya. She notices they're very quiet and asks them the same thing. Erking says his name and Kaya's (it did't seem he changed their names: such a bad idea in my opinion:censored:). He also says that Kaya is his cousin and they're visiting their aunt in the north. The girl is about to sing a song about the sun knight , but someone asks her to sing another song, fortunately. The song is a happy song and Kaya seems sad. Kaya also notices she has a sword like Terion's and the royal guards'.

Then Terion is at the castle and a guard (the one who's always wearing a hood) tells him that the "criminals" should be already out of the capital. He also says that they should start looking outside. Then, Dion (Leonard's cousin) appears and hits terion. It seems hes angry because he left the "criminals" escape. When he leaves, the guard tells Terion that they will start to look for them in the east and there are other groups looking other points.

Then, Erkin is talking with the administrator of an inn (idk what's the name of that job), and it seems he gave them a room with only one bed, even though, they pay for two, but the guy says the bed is big. The girl, Lysa or Lisa hears them, and she says that if they give her money, she will let them use her bed. But E&K ignore her, it seems the girl likes money a lot. Erkin hears some guys talking about Griselda, and that it seems that no one wants to do business with her family.

They arrive to their bedroom and they notice the only bed is just a normal bed and I thought about this meme:
But before it gets uncomfortable Kaya says nothing ang goes directly to the floor, even though he tells her to use the bed while he goes to look for medicine for her.

When Erkin returns she's still sleeping but he starts to talk to her saying that he couldn't find everything he needed (or something like that), but he hopes he can when they get close to Sizes (his town), but he notices she doesn't wake up, and he reaches for her and realizes she has a fever and calls her name (btw, he still calls her Kaya). The worst part about her fever in this episode, it's that is still day, not night.

    It seems she's Trianna's daughter.

I could have skipped some details or misunderstood others.

Erkin realizes Kaya has a fever and he thinks how he didn’t know why she was sick that time too. He concludes that her illness is getting worse. He takes her to the bed, and for a moment it seems he’s going to touch her hand, but he hesitates and seems to have another crisis about his feelings.

In the capital, Annetta is talking with one of her family’s clients, and it seems he won’t make deals with them again because Gris is related to the sun witch. She also sees the Lindemanns with luggage, and they say they’re going to be living with a relative for a while, because the drama is affecting them too. They also reveal that they tried to adopt Erkin a few times but he always refused, he (the old guy) thinks Erkin couldn't accept them because they are from Mormerata and wonders if he resented them all along. Annetta tries to say that Er wouln't do somenthing like that, but she stops herself.

Terion and the guard are passing by. The guard is talking about a possible suspect seen outside of the city, and asks Ter about the criminals’ appearance. Terion lies and says that he wasn’t close and that he doesn’t remember them well. But he describes Er as someone shorter than him with dark eyes. The guard knows he’s lying because he was the one who recruited Erkin the first time.

Ter interrupts him because he sees Anetta. When she sees him she tries to run away, but Ter stops her saying that Gris is okay and that she won’t be executed if she (An) talks, but Annetta calls him traitor and says that he was accepted even though they all knew why he was there in the first place.

She leaves and the guard sees a hair tie in her hand that she gave to Kaya to help them get out of the city and tries to make the merchant confess a few things related to the hair tie because he knows it has something to do with the sun witch.

At the end of the episode, we finally see his face, he has dark blue hair and amber eyes, he’s also shorter that Terion and the only guard from the north, and concludes the criminals are (most likely) going to the north.

On their way to the north, the guard tells Therion his story: his mother was from Mormeratta and abandoned his family to be with a northerner. When the war got worse, his father went to war, and of course, the northerners marginalized them. It seems Albrech recruited him as a spy. He was also sent with Terion to protect him and to “keep and eye” on him too by Al.

Back at the inn, Lisa is bringing Kaya and Erkin breakfast, but she hears them yelling at each other. She hears Erkin say something that attracts her attention (but I won’t say what, because the translation was bad, something about being from the north). Then, Erkin opens the door looking big and angry (and hot, ngl). She chatters a lot, but leaves as soon as she can. He closes the door loudly and gives Kaya the bowl (she looks very cute in those panels, btw, like when she was a kid), but he lets it fall when her hand touches his, and she’s like “now you’re scared of my touch too,” he says it slipped from his hand and leaves her to go for another bowl.

At the end of this episode, the green haired girl asks another woman to help her write a letter while she thinks about what Erkin said. It seems she is going to Teburz in the north.

Later in downtown, Lisa approaches Erkin and Kaya again, she looks especially interested in the guy. She offers them food, but Erkin refuses until she notices Kaya already eating a lot (it’s a funny moment). The food is very expensive and almost leaves them without money. Erkin says in his mind that Kaya never listens (it seems that’s why they were arguing before) and that she has no sense of crisis, and he seems annoyed but he relaxes soon. Kaya offers him food, but when he is going to take it, he pulls her to hide because he saw some guards arriving. They end up in a very romantic position, like this:[IMG]
but before it gets too romantic, they turn cold again. Kaya picks up the food she dropped and Erkin tells her “don’t eat dirt”. At some point, Terion and the other guy meet the guy who rides the cart, he says that 3 people disappear when he’s asked about just 2 people. He says the 3rd person is a girl named Lisa. The cart was heading to Teburz.

Erkin and Kaya are already climbing a mountain and kaya notices someone is following them, Lisa asks them to let her travel with her, Erkin is hesitant, but at the end he accepts her. Kaya tells him she has one of the Emrick swords.
Ernik yells in his mind, but Kaya tells him not to worry. The girl rushes Kaya when she hears something in the woods, she says there are bears there, and her clumsiness makes both girls fall from a cliff, and Lisa hurts her ankle. Erkin has to find a path to meet them again, so they both are now alone.

There, the girl says that they are peculiar cousins, and asks her what is their real relationship and reason to travel to the north. But Kaya doesn't answer and asks her instead about her interest in them and about the sword, meanwhile Erkin is looking for them. The girl says that she heard erkin say that he was a northerner and she also saw their medicine; she was looking for a northerner because she wanted a prescription because she takes care of some orphan kids and one of them is sick (I din't understand this part well).

She was also traveling to find jobs and earn money, and thinks Erkin is a cold, scary person. The sword was her mother’s (here it is revealed to the readers, not to the characters, that her mother is Trianna), and that she keeps it because it makes her feel safe, even though she doesn't know how to swing it. It was given to her when her mother fell in disgrace.

Kaya consoles her and also tells her Erkin is actually a sweet person, not a cold one, but when she’s about to tell Lisa why he’s been cold lately, she feels sick again. Lisa is worried, but Kaya throws a ray of light so that he can find them while she tells Lisa to pretend what she’s going to see is a dream. When he finally arrives, he asks her what she's doing.

When they arrive at the next town, Lisa finally asks Erkin about a prescription before they part ways, and kaya gives her the pendants she was wearing when he discovered her identity, so she can buy the kids’ medicine. The girl is moved and says that only fools would do something like that, because they will still need money to travel, and Kaya says that maybe she’s a fool, while Erkin looks a little bit surprised.

    • Erkin and Kaya treat each other like acquaintances, not like 2 people who used to be close (basically like exes, lol) , they are cold or fight from time to time. But it’s obvious that they both still have some feelings for one another, but at the same time, Er still wants to keep Kaya by his side because he wants to discover what happened to his parents.
    • Kaya still has her hair dyed but in some specific panels, her hair is back to her normal color. I think the creator does this on purpose. You’ll know what I’m talking about when you read it.
    • It seems the girl, Lysa or Lisa, doesn’t know how to write nor read.
    • Even though the guard is from the north, he’s shorter than Terion. And Lisa is a little bit taller than Kaya.
    • This might be my imagination, but I think kaya always feels sick again when she thinks/remembers or is feeling sad, about her situation with Erkin, or when he’s not with her: like when he went to the north with Gris the first time, when he left the bedroom, or when he couldn’t find her (and Lisa) in the woods.
    • Idk the guard's name.
    • Lisa's full name is Lissandra, Idk if Lisa is written with i or y.

    Thank you:aww::aww:
I wonder if Kaya suspected Lysa/Lisa's connection to Trianna at all when she gives her that necklace (honestly idk if Kaya even knew Trianna had a daughter). Either way I'm pleasantly surprised that Trianna came up again and am curious about where things will go with Lysa/Lisa in the future.
Also I am cringing a bit at Terion's dilemma, he sucks at subterfuge and I'm worried about what he's getting himself into...

It seems Kaya didn't figure out Lisa is Trianna's child, because Lisa never said her mother's name nor specified how or why her mother fell in disgrace. But I'm sure we'll see her again even though they parted ways.

Btw, I'm sure Kaya does know Trianna had a daughter.

I want to slap Terion, ngl.

Anyway, I don't think I'll be summarizing every episode every week. Most likely I'll do it when something serious happens or when there are a good amount episodes accumulated.

Thanks! I really appreciate your summaries but I totally get that it will be hard to summarize all of them. ::bloblove:: I can't buy any of the locked episodes but I might try to add extra summaries if I can when more eps are free.
    Also
I understand your desire to slap Terion. He's grown a lot but he's still the most frustrating character. He's still so naive and Albrecht is playing leagues above him. I want to see him grow but GODDAMNIT Terion you're putting everyone in danger :blob_catflip:

Ok, I know I said I wasn't going to be summarizing every episode every week, but I have to talk about the newest episode because there are 2 things that are important, in my opinion, and that surprised me.

    • At the end of their conversation, Lisa offers them to visit her house if they feel at some point that they don't have a place to go. I think it'll be important later, considering the place's name (where she lives) was mentioned like 3 times.
    • The earrings cost more than it seems, so Lisa will be able to buy medicine and also pay the kid's school.
    • She thought Kaya and Erkin were distant and cold, but they are actually friendly.
    • The guard recognizes her, and this is the first important revelation: She was the mercenary who was paid to retrieve the moon stone (the one they want to use to kill Hilde), because she would do anything for money.
    • When she's asked about Erkin and Kaya, she lies, but the guy knows she's lying because she's very nervous.
    • When he leaves, Terion asks her how they were, she says the woman was sick, and here is the second thing that surprised me: she said that she noticed something going on between them, and that it seemed that they wanted to be together:X3:. (Even Lisa has figured out they are in love, lol.
    • Terion looks grim and sad the whole episode.)
    • It seems Erkin's plan was go to Teburz to get the medicine and then look for the old lady, but at the end it is implied that they're going to Sizes first, because Erkin says that his town is in the other side of the mountains they are climbing when he realizes they are still being followed; smart move because the guard is actually going to send tropes to look for them in Teburz.
    • Edit: Btw, what Kaya gave to Lisa were her earrings, not a pendant. My mistake, sorry.
