Which is why the mistress is so important to him.

Either they have made an agreement and used the “mistress story” as an excuse for them to meet and calm his magic.
If so, stupid of him not to give his ex wife an explanation about the nature of his relationship with the other woman.

Or he approached her and “tied” her to himself by making her fall for him?

 

When she told him in the first chapters that you use your lower body on others, he was silent and did not answer.

 

I tend to think he did not cheat on her physically speaking but it's way too suspicious that he did not say anything when she accused him of cheating.
In some stories I have read, when there is a misunderstanding or if the husband/ml has a reason to be involved with another girl and there is no cheating involved, there is that typical sentence :" It's not what you think", "don't pay attention to the gossip"...
Here, the scum sais nothing at all.
Which is kinda weird if he was not really cheating.
