I think you're right. Even from chapter 1 he's seems to be searching for her on the battlefield and the MC I think died as a last-ditch effort to win and she did? Then the ML turns back time maybe? Sees his younger self and immediately runs out to propose the still country girl MC?

I think he was called a villain because maybe due to the brutal tactics taken during war. I mean look at Tanya the Evil. She thought they were necessary measures and in the long run, they probably were but at the moment people react to her thinking of her as the devil.

 

MC was probably a hero? A war hero?

wow, chapter 3 he really is campaigning hard to marry her. I'm not sure to find that endearing or annoying. as a woman some guy comes out of nowhere starts aggressively asking to marry you is too much.

This Manhwa got my attention, I saw someone posted on IG (translated chap.) I hope this would be a good one. its refreshing to see a guy pursue the woman first.

I'm extremely curious what happened in their past life if he really is reborn. Like how come a village girl got acquainted with a duke and thrown to war (if ever). And how come he is so obsessed with her. Dude I'm dying! It's rare that the guy is the reborn one!

 

Doesn't quite look like my thing but I am a bit curious to see how it goes, assuming the blondie in the intro was Senia in the future (not sure why her hair went from blond to red though) and I guess ML doesn't want to make her unhappy or screw her up again.

 

they married in chapter 11 and his little sister interrupted them and said she disapprove/ don't agree to their marriage in front of everyone i think she did that to protect Senia ( because he killed everyone in his family only his sister left don't know why ) he told the servants to take her ( his little sister ) and lock her up in a room and they took her after that she tried to escape by jumping from the balcony but it was too high Senia saw her and told the duke he jumped to the other balcony and save his sister then Senia jumped to them. sorry don't know how to use spoiler tag

 

Spoiler: Chapter 14 Raw

In raw chapter 14, we can see the duke's flashback from his previous life probably. And in that flashback, it is revealed that Senia is a queen or empress. Her nickname was "Puppet Empress", "Commoner Birthed Empress", and another one I couldn't understand but it seems like she was a weakness or maybe it means that she was faulty as an empress? Well anyway, Senia was an empress from previous life but I don't think she had it easy.

Spoiler: duke's little sis

So the current duke killed (apparently) his whole family to ascend his current position, but he still has his young sister. He locks her up in his family's villa, away. She is very very wary of him because he murdered her whole family and didn't receive any love. At the wedding with Seniya, he eventually lets her come but she pops up in the midst of the ceremony and shouts that this marriage is 'invalid' >>> she's actually worried for Seniya !! (that she might end up like the rest of her family). Maids take care of it and the ceremony keeps its flow. As they're talking on the balcony, Thessar and Seniya notice Serendier (the little sis) falling from another balcony!! the duke saves her and Seniya arrives after, jumping from the balcony she was at to theirs like some kind of superhero. At first Serendier is a little wary of Seniya. But then Seniya shows she cares about her, and hugs her, is worried about her (her hands got a little hurt apparently) and for the first time she seems to be 'loved'. Then Thessar allows Serendier to stay at th duke's mansion, instead of being locked up at the villa (mostly bc Seniya wanted the situation to be like this haha he really cannot refuse her anything...) and in chapter 15 of the raws, both of the girls have a picnic together Serendier cries and Seniya comforts her. They're already like sisters they're so cute togetherr

 

Spoiler: Seniya's fiancé

Seniya wasn't actually engaged with this man, James, from her village, but since they were the only two 'young' (he's kinda old tho) unmarried ppl I town he proposed to her. Once she bumps into him in the street, and states that she never agreed to marry him so he's angry. So he decides to revenge and another time, while she was showing town to Thessar (the duke) he actually tried to hit Seniya!!!! Ofc she was already planning to kick his balls lol but before that may happen, Thessar arrives and stop the crazy man, and shows him his gloomy terrifying look which is the first time Seniya actually sees his 'dark' side, as in the rumors. Then she brags out to 'James' on how she's going to marry the duke and become the duchess, whilst he'll remain nothing haha. That's our girl

 

Spoiler: wedding dress

As for her wedding dress, the duke had apparently called the most trending fashion house of the capital or something. They obviously couldn't refuse such an offer (like -- he's the friggin duke!!) but they still doubted she was a noble from the baron's household in the north... They were sure she was a commoner (which she actually was but seriously - she's the duchess to be) And so they look down on her, kinda 'mock her' about her not wearing a corset, etc. They actually show that they know she's a commoner, but in a subtle and mischievous way. Welcome to high society darling. Anyway but our Seniya is not the type to stay still - she defends herself and answers calmly, coldly, like a true noble would. Bravo. How did this whole situation end ? WELL the fashion house / shop got bankrupt since every noble annulled their orders since this event occurred haha. and I oop -
