Discussion One relationship taken seriously or tons of flings?

I was just wondering what you guys would prefer
Flings seem fun but having a committed relationship seems nice too
I'm more on the side of having flings but I'm young and have no experience with being in a relationship so I was wondering if that's really the best
This is very subjective and both have pros and cons

Like, irl? I want commitment but my commitment issues says: “yeah, date twice and then ghost”

My perspectives.
I’m your typical dense goody two shoes guy. A gentleman that had to grow up quick because of my upbringing. So I met a girl in school. Dated and then married. No other relationship. No other flings. All because I thought this was the right way to do things. WRONG. I should have played the field. Now I regret it. 20+ years in a relationship with a dead bedroom. I recommend playing it by ear. Date and discover who you are and what you want in a relationship.

Anyways, I mean it as a very casual relationship

I guess it depends?
If you’re a super busy person and don’t have time for commitment I think it’s fine to have flings. (Of course you should tell your fling you’re not thinking of getting serious with them, don’t wanna break hearts .)

Commitment is nice too, especially if you have the time, energy, etc. imagine cuddling with the one person you’re most comfortable with, going in nice dates and laughing at stupid shit.

As you are young try flings more than a committed relationship. Enjoy while you can . A relationship takes a lot from you . It may also not good for you .
