My conclusion about this one might be cruel, but to me, in the end, the one who hurts MC the most is her mom. If only she communicated every problem with her fiance at that time, I think MC wouldn't have met such a tragic life. Oftenly, what you decide can result big impact.

Btw, I'm waiting for any kind hearted soul who will share spoilers about the main conflict. I believe it is her way to overturn the villain. I don't really care about the romance haha.

I'm guessing that particular rule's there for our convenience, so that we don't scroll aaaalll the way down every time there's a long spoiler. 1. How she went back in time
2. How was she even found in the 2nd tl when it was repeating the 2nd tl, what made it change all of a sudden?
3. How did her mother die and just didn't prepare her daughter safety
4. Does her family find out she's a regressor

I'm really curious how the mom died, she's look healthy, strong af and smart, so you think she would live longer and if not, atleast prepare her child safety after her death beforehand. I also think it's quite foolish for her leave just because her child had powers, literally the Duke place is strong to be able protect both of them but she just left to a village with no protection!? Like girl?

I've read until ch 27 of the manhwa and so far:

Spoiler: MCs mother

she's dead. Sad to say that she is but she sacrificed herself 2 years before she was taken in by her dad. That was the time when there was a noticeable decrease in the demons. The duke found out that the reason for this was her mother sacrificed her life for it.

Although some will say that her mother is stupid for leaving the duke but it was actually explained that the reason (correct me if i understood this part wrong) is to delay the other people knowing that her daughter inherited her power. Because holy power is different from imperial power, the families of those who died because of the demons and also those greedy nobles and other kingdoms may try to attack the duke's family so they can take the MC. MC is actually treated as a "sacrificial item", not as a person. They will definitely do everything to ruin the duke's family just to take the MC.

Also, mc has been abused so bad that when she encountered a bathtub made of marble, she had a seizure because she thought it was an altar where they extract her power. Aside from that, because of how she has been repeatedly kidnapped (including her past lives), she thinks that all people wearing armors are going to hurt her or take her away so her power will be extracted.

I cried the whole time i was reading the manhwa cause she was hurt so much, then i cried again because she's starting to understand how to be loved and taken care of by others and that she wont starve anymore ㅠ_ㅠ

how did the mc mom's friend found MC? i recall she was on dungeon on ch 1... any detail on this?

also on ch 5 she ask when will she get her power back? did she lose it? why?

To answer your question about MCs mum:

• So in the story, holy/divine power is not inherited by blood, unlike imperial power. But by some coincidence, MC inherited it from her mum. This is the main reason why she left the duke despite loving him and the twins because she had to protect them and MC at the same time.
• So the mother died 2 yrs prior to mc arriving at the dukes house bc she sacrificed her life by using all her power to weaken/decrease the number of demon beasts. She didnt want to leave or die (from what is implied in the manhwa) but she had to do it to buy some time for MC to be able to either escape or to hide the fact that she has holy powers so she wont be sacrificed.
• Bc the nobles are greedy, if they actually fount out that MC had holy powers when she was born, all of them and other countries included, will band together to take down duke's family and get MC to use her for her powers.
• The mother didn't want the duke's family to suffer/potentially die just bc mc has holy powers too. The duke's family is strong but if everyone comes for them, they cant defend against a whole country

 

But wasn’t it more logical to send the daughter to someone reliable before going to fight monsters? She was trying to save the duke’s family that is quite powerful and strong itself by leaving her daughter all alone and in the end making her an orphan slave for a few years, so it’s either some plot hole or there is more to that decision.

and how did mc mom's friend able to get mc out of the prison? i read it at earlier chapter of the manhwa but it didnt tell the story properly

 

Hmm... Im not sure but i think the reason why she left as well was because if she had sent her daughter to someone reliable, she would still have to give birth to her in the duchy or somewhere else. Wouldn't it be suspicious? With the kind of crappy and greedy attitudes of the nobles portrayed in the webtoon, it's possible that someone is monitoring the duchy. This is just my speculation hehe. But i really wanna see how the story unfolds in the future. I hope we get some info on why the mother chose to sacrifice herself and more on specifics of their life during that time.

Yes, the webtoon also didnt have any background story on her mother's friend but if im not mistaken, she's part of an organization that's why she's not able to stay in one place for long periods of time. I think it was by some coincidence that she found MC while raiding the den of those kidnappers/slave traders(?)
