Not yet, I was going to post a summary of the latest chapters when I got home. Raws are at Episode 141, the last few have been Rania and Ben going on a “date” to the festival. This latest one, they both open up about their first meeting each other and first impression. Benedict - about the ball and after engagement and Rania - after she lost her memories. (Remember that Rania lost all of her memories of her marriage so she’s mentally 16yrs old again.) They are supposed to go the court before a certain time to stop the divorce papers from being legalized, but we haven’t gotten that far yet. Ben seems like he’s wanting to wait until Rania regains her memories so that she can decide if she wants to divorce or not since they left on bad terms. There might be some readers who think that he should stop it from happening, but honestly this raises my opinion of Benedict more than what it was at. He knows that Rania was forced into the marriage, he knows and accepts that he treated her wrongly, he also hasn’t lied to this Rania about how wonderful and happy she was being married. He’s going to allow Rania to choose whether or not to stay in a relationship with him when she regains her memories and won’t hide the divorce papers from her. I’m going to try to add some photos later but I don’t know how it’ll go. I need a certain amount of comments.
The divorce drama can't be a plot twist as Raina will chose ML. I thought she loved him before marriage, so why it says she was forced. She met him before ya though she tried her best to hold her husband when he was a jackass. So basically the story is just getting dragged.
I never said it was a plot twist. Obviously, Rania is going to stay with Benedict but this divorce allows them to start all over without any obstacles like the grandmother and Benedict’s Captain who intruded on their relationship. I said this because in Chapter 83, when Landen was talking his dad, it was mentioned that Rania’s family title was for auction. Landen also said that Viscount Ackbert, Rania’s father, made a condition that anyone who buys the title also has to marry his daughter (Rania). I know both Rania and Benedict were attracted to each other. Rania crushing on Benedict and vise versa, but Rania already knew who he was and Benedict didn’t know who she was until the engagement was official. So no, in my opinion, it’s not getting dragged out. This last season is about Rania and Benedict bettering their relationship for themselves and their family. Although, the date between the two has been dragged out across a few to many chapters in my opinion but I can see why the author kind of wanted to slow the plot down so we can actually see the development.
Hello, can you clear up this doubt for me, the ml did sleep with the women that girl sent (the girl he liked). or according to some spoilers they said that ml did not sleep with those girls and paid them to stay calm
Spoiler Nope, he paid them to spread stories iirc, but anyway he didn't sleep with any of those girls Laura introduced. The only people he slept with before marriage are the brunette they showed on a chapter before revision and Laura.
So I have a lot of rant for this manwha I will give it character by character first and foremost my favourite character Benjamin : idk why but for some reason he is the least talked character in the series but honestly in my opinion has the most trauma like boy was locked in the basement alone without anyone by his side like a prisoner also his father ordered him to be executed swiftly if it weren't for his mother who came before dawn and saved him but there also his struggles don't end his struggles he is now in a country where a rebellion is happening the country is in chaos with nowhere to go he has to survive and he survived maybe with not the most noble ways but his life never gave him any privileges (and sorry not sorry but having principles is also a privilege that many in our world don't have) in that case also we get to have an inside look of his underworld empire we see in a seen that when landon took uphold of it he made it into a cheap casino where anyone can enter but with Benjamin he has his principles with his he ran his unprincipled place(didn't got much inside into it but we do see a conversation between him and his nanny) also even with having a psychopathic personality we see him doing everything in his power to keep that personality of his in check and his sane personality is actually so nice (i mean compared to the surroundings he grew up with) like he deeply cares about his mother and after getting to know the truth cares about his brother and his family too. I need to say he is the true GREY character of the series unlike benedict (what he has a loose character - my view point) . He is someone who tried to truly do his best with what he had not saying he is without any fault nope but I understand him in a way. Benedict : the character which annoys me the most , okay first of all I don't understand some people who says he was manipulated by Laura to sleep with the women nope he wasn't he was a grown ass man ready to inherit an estate and a title he wasn't some abhla naari rather he made his choice also the thing is that we get to know that he didn't slept with those women but he payed for them from a third character not from his own pov it said something else when he said it to Hayden, also saying this to your 10 year old son is the worst thing he can do (also telling him he is an illegitimate son of his wife cause he never had sex with his wife the delusion this guy has), now i am not defending rania in this but tbh she didn't have anyone her husband was never her side (and when he was , he was calling out the name of the women the whole world knew he was infatuated with for years in their marriage he was calling her name) also we all know she was always a very awkward person he himself said that whenever she used to go out she used to go with Hayden knowing all of this he still thought that his wife is crazy enough to claim that the child is his when he never slept with her. Now now this guy went around and slept with the brunette while being engaged(if you think rania's kiss is cheating I get it cause I think the same but so is this guys action cause he was officially engaged still couldn't care less about what would be the social scene and its impact on his fiance) also he had a choice in that marriage while rania had no choice if he didn't wanted to marry then why did he married her in the first place and then after his good for nothing trauma inducing father died he went to die himself??????? Like seriously doooode????? If ur life was so fleeting then why bring another person into it also what was the deal of getting married and then going to die even without an heir wouldn't there be a turmoil in the household if the head died without any heirs wouldn't it give the chance for the illegitimate child of the previous count landon to take over like he was a high ranking military officer as well as a son to the count who was brought to the main house.......also like doode u were all good, great and respectful also u can say in a way more conversive and cooperative to every other women than the one you married like you can see the start difference between his nature with them (he looks bright and powerful) and with her depressed like nobody forced you to marry her, did u even sat down with her and talk to know about what she wanted or made clear that she shouldn't expect anything heck u didn't even had a one good conversation with her if u had u would have known that she liked u genuinely (ik Rania has her own faults I'll come back to it afterwards when I write about her and her flaws in my opinion) i genuinely don't like how the author white washed this trying to be grey but honestly a loose character again THAT'S MY OPINION cause he didn't got throught half of the shit that many other characters have been through in this manwha like man was raised to be the only heir to the count had the looks , money , power and women flocking around him. Also about his trauma tbh I think a person's emotions and inert principles are solidified by the age of 15 (at that age his mother was alive his trauma started after she got bedridden due to sickness) in all and all he is his father's son more than his mother s and his personality is a proof to it. Ik if you have read this far then you might think I keep his actions before marriage much into consideration and yess I do cause just because you got married doesn't mean things u did disappeared also the way his past has haunted his present is so clear in this story. Benedicts trauma was caused by his parents but most of rania's trauma was caused by benedict also he intensified the trauma she got from her grandmother (cause she is dyslexic) idk how to feel about a guy who was married to for 10-12 years and he still didn't knew that his wife was dyslexic which is not a big deal to see if he has taken even a little intrest in her. Rania is faulty and a cheater but the one who drove her to the edge was benedict himself. Ik how it has ended but I genuinely wished the author would have gone through the decided ending of rania's death(or her divorce with benedict) and benedicts regret cause he genuinely needs to grovel more his pain and trauma after marriage was much more caused by himself (even including the divorce paper part cause if he has talked to rania before going to war he would have known that she wouldn't do that other than just talking while drunk)
For Godsake, at least learn how to indent. I don’t care how bad your grammar is but indentation is a must. I’ve definitely warmed up to Benjamin. Now that the story is finally completed and his past is revealed. It wasn’t like he was born with DID, but childhood trauma made him more susceptible to it. It also didn’t help that he was born sickly and neglected by being segregated to just the cabin (although it seemed like the Nanny and the mother did their best). I think the mother did the best thing at the time for Benjamin, which was allowing him to escape with the Nanny and an allotted amount of money to support themselves. It also does seem like the mother (Lisbel) tried to visit Benjamin every year for his birthday. I think if she never had Benedict or if he wasn’t sick at the time of the escape, Lisbel would have gone with the nanny and Benjamin. I agree with what you said about Benjamin’s control of his psychopathic other side. It seemed like he tried his best, but then after getting hit by a car and losing his memories that side took control. It also didn’t help that he was fed false memories by Landen. I think his past also played a part in why he hated Hayden so much, seeing Benedict in him out of jealousy. I especially like how the author has wrapped up his and Benedict’s relationship in the side stories (for right now, at least). Benedict realized what Benjamin’s relationship is to him and his (their) mother, but still can’t fully forgive or trust him for what he did being under the influence of Felix. Right now, their relationship is still rocky but Benedict did invite him to visit once in a while. I’m not saying he was manipulated, but his ego(?) made him play right into Laura’s palm. He just had the smarts to not actually sleep with the women. Technically, I wouldn’t call Benedict an adult at that time. At most, he was 17 years old. I still don’t know about that part. Seeing as how he reacted when Laura was belittling her and the other times, I think Benedict did stand up for Rania to outsiders but he was also the biggest downfall as he, unknowingly or not, did his own share of ridiculing. Benedict only called out Laura’s name during nightmares, Rania knew this and said so herself but it still hurt her nonetheless. Obviously, Benedict has no control over nightmares. I mean that’s literally verbatim. This along with Benedict saying that Rania never gazed at another man. He knew she wasn’t a manizer or seeing anyone. Benedict just thought she had a past lover (subsequently Hayden’s “dad”) and couldn’t forget about him. I don’t think he was officially engaged with Rania yet. The engagement was just in the talks. It only makes it a little better but still allows a side-eye. His father passed away right after their wedding. Benedict became very depressed afterwards because he always felt like he was being abandoned. Not because of his marriage with Rania. I don’t agree with this take at all, lol. Sure, Benedict might not of had it as worse as some of the characters, but he still had has own personal issues. Dealing with his father and his mistress and half-brother tormenting him and a depressed mother who always talked about dying is sure to mess with a kids psyche. Just read Chapter 74 and 75 again. I can’t see at all how you think Benedict is more like his abusive bitch of a father than his mother. His father absolutely sucked. Nobody knew about Rania’s dyslexia unless they were explicitly told because she hid it. Naomi knew because she was Rania’s caretaker when she was a child. She’s the one who read the letters/notes out loud to Rania and helped her with memorizing children books. Hayden found out by accident. 10-12 years is definitely a little unbelievable but Benedict knew that Rania never liked reading or going to the library. So because of his rule about being distant, Benedict never bothered to learn more. It’s brought up at the end of the series though and Benedict regrets it. He also starts to help Rania with reading and writing all the while studying about dyslexia. Eh, I think there comes a point where too much groveling can cause more issues than not in the marriage. I like that the author writes that Rania will never fully forget or forgive Benedict for his past mistakes because I hate when the FL always forgets about the ML’s wrongdoings. Even mistakes that are worse than what Benedict did. I like all of the characters in this series. I think everyone is realistically flawed and no character is truly evil. (Except for Landen, whose evilness was brought on by who raised him, but is still written as a realistic byproduct of horrible parenting).
so first of all I think you are able to understand what I meant so I think it's okay about the indent also I just copy pasted stuffs I wrote a while back before making my account again cause I lost the password for the last one. About that benedict is his father's son more than his mother I didn't mean he is as bad as his father for surely he is not what I meant here is that he is more like his father compared to his mother , whereas I beleive Benjamin has gotten more of his qualities from his mother in his sane state while the same couldn't be said for benedict. Also I agree with your thoughts in most topics except that i don't like benedict as a character much(a personal preferance after finishing the series especially as before i gave him the benefit of doubt with rania's cheating ) and how the character was literally white washed by the author like in the original draft/first season it was clear that he did sleep with them (said by himself not a third party) but then in the second season a third party gives us a closure on it. Well I genuinely don't hate the character as much as I hate the narrative that the women rania had only one sexual experience in most of her teenage and 20's while benedict had many without any consequences. The thing which disgusts me about it is not just about this whole the guy is a stud while the girl has to be the obedient little angel with no experience she has to be a virgin(in this story I kinda get it cause she is a noble women that's her obligation) but in a lot of other stories too , the guys would have had their experience with not just one but multiple women (but they were not serious uk!!) and the girl is there to just teach about real love, one where you make love like stupid shittttt I hate this bullshit and if the girl is not a virgin there is 75% chance that she was SAed so the people can have pity on her like excuse me why??????? Why can't she just not be a virgin but he can be a virgin I am yet to see such kind of story like how dare a women have sex with someone she doesn't love????? Or wasnt forced with?????. Like no sexual pleasure for women but men, well they can do whatever they want no consequences. Adding from the last point the same thing wanna add here like in the social scene benedict would be surrounded by women flaunting their beauty but rania would be alone standing awkwardly(still in his mind she was a cheater) Even when she did cheated on him(no pseudo cheating it was cheating she was an adult albeit a broken one still she was) before that we see a scene of the house tutor candidate for Hayden coming out of library after benedict did and rania misunderstood that he cheated on her (knowing well of his preference of intellectual women) he never clarified just let her slap him knowing well that she did misunderstood him( she shouldn't have hit him as doesn't hit her back) The point of rania hitting him is also one of things which irritates me like she is a women who is pretty emotional can't she hurt him with words too like he does??? Like she has naomi how long would it take her to get to know about his past (his family history) if she really wants to hurt him on his remark how about rather than hurting him physically she also uses her tongue cause honestly as women ik we are better at swinging our tongue than our hands (i genuinely love her emotional side cause it's relatable but this behaviour was nothing but infuriating unfortunately) to be honest sis I get you but not really at the same time like what is to be unforgiven if they are going to be a family at the end of the day what is to be not forgiven they are ending up together only without her being able to heal the part of her heart, she is never going to get her prime years back she could have divorced and then actually find someone who loves her for who she is. Her character in my opinion for me is an indicator that don't waste your youth waiting for someone who doesn't consider you his home(home is a feeling of relaxation, comfort and trust that all people here are the ones I love) the relationship between rania and benedict honestly doesn't feel like a home. But maybe that's the beauty of it cause they are not your fairytale couple they are inspired from the real broken homes where the Happy ever after doesn't really exist. There is nothing one can do, they are as incompatible as they once were (in my opinion it's just very clear for me even till the end it feels pretty forced would have loved to see them getting divorce and Rania actually finding herself and benedict healing himself while Hayden builds himself in the academy) For this story the thought that it is just a replica of many real life stories of women and men kind of brings me comfort as they ending wasn't comfortable.
They both know they wasted 10 years of their relationship. I don’t they will ever be able to forget that and Benedict knows that. But I don’t understand what you’re trying to say about Benedict not considering them “home”. From the beginning of the series, he’s always thought of Hayden and Rania as being his “home” (Ch.11,12, 27, 36 etc.). I don’t know how to explain it exactly, but even when their marriage was tumultuous Benedict never wanted to leave them. Rania said so herself. She doesn’t want to hurt Benedict in the same way he hurts her because in the end all she feels is guilty and more hurt (Ch.26, 72). Rania doesn’t want to hurt him because she still loves him. That’s what I like about her character (both of them really). Like yes, she says mean and hurtful stuff in the heat of the moment but her inner turmoil is really nice to read afterwards. This part, I sadly agree. In my mind it goes either way. Some of it could be written away because it was just gossip and hearsay from Laura, but Benedict’s little confession to Hayden kind of ruins it. Even when Benedict talked to Darren about his ejaculation issues, it could be seen as him just having issues with self-pleasure. The way I still take it is that he’s only slept with two people before Rania, Laura and the brunette. Benedict did clarify on this. He said he caught the tutor sleeping with another man, who I assume both Rania and Benedict know is a cheater. But the man never came out before Hayden disrupted the conversation and Rania left with him. Also, Rania never slaps him in this scene. Only when she caught Laura kissing him. Benedict and Rania were both teenagers when they got married, I think Rania was 16-17 when she fell pregnant with Hayden. Benedict only being two years older than her. Of course, after their marriage neither cheated on each other because they didn’t want to hurt their family. _____________________________________ Rania and Benedict are both flawed characters with their own separate thoughts and feelings. Neither of them glorify and put their spouse on a pedestal like in OI’s or romance manhwa’s. So of course to you it might feel forced or incompatible but I don’t see it that way at all. Their family and marriage just went through a very difficult time so everyone is still trying to return to status quo on top of the two of them restarting their romance all the while moving and pregnancy.
doode as i have written home is about trust as well but we know how much benedict genuinely trusts rania also about they both wasted 10 years of their life tbh i can't say the same for benedict as he would go out in social circles surrounded by women having no regard for his wife , benedict could go out socialise and had friends he could trust (like that doctor friend of his) bit rania had no one except Hayden you do get it right they don't put each other at pedestal cause they simply can't as they are incompatible from the starting(and benedict didn't even tried like rania atleast tried even while being 16 she did while that man to become the count didn't also she was left all alone pregnant and still tried to rationalize it and even tried to go to him by asking of his location to colonel but nope. Ikik if not for the divorce paper things would have been different but that guy messed by amazing father never gave her an ounce of affection ever since marriage all he gave her were the words that he'll go to the war and die leaving his young wife whose just a teenager a widow but he would also do it heirless what was the guarantee that she wouldn't be kicked out by the next count pr the next count wouldn't be his half brother. Honestly if anybody understand his nature in this part please tell me cause it was eerily confusing to me, like his father whom I from my understanding of manwha considers the source of all misery for benedict and his mother died, then he became depressed while with all the other women before he was nice and affectionate including laura (u can't deny he had feelings for her) or the other brunette women(whom we know he had no feelings for) i don't understand how he was nice both these women but was a constipated men for his own wife. Also his ejaculation problem I feel that is also the reason that maybe he didn't sleep with many women (if he didn't then) Also like at that time there were no condoms and I can't help but think how many STDs that man carries for rania , man the only thing good in their relationship is Hayden that tooo idk how he wasn't messed up cause children like Hayden (whose parents don't get along would rather ask their parents that they have divorced then to live with that creepy silence and stigma between them) well he was kinda messed up as he tried to pay felix if we remember correctly. There is one more thing like when rania asks benedict during a what is the thing he loves the most about her other than her face and says her breasts i swear the way I felt like to punch him (kinda feel like the author is a man cause of this scenerio as otherwise they would have known that no women having such a strained relationship with her husband would be okay with that kind of reply , if the reply would have been about her personality or any good quality of hers it would have been nice which it clearly wasn't )
I don’t know how old you are, but just as a word of advice, human to human. You should never, ever put your partner on a pedestal. It can cause so many issues and create a toxic environment for your family and relationship. Also, Benedict was severely depressed after his father died. He felt like wanting to jump off his balcony all the time into the water. (https://rosecoloredglasses.com/putt...uing yourself when, embracing who they/you are.) It’s not mentioned frequently, but did do small acts of kindness (Chapters 27 and 33). No way does this negate how he ignored and treated their relationship though. I have to restate again, that Benedict was just a sad kid growing up and became even more depressed after his father died (Chapter.11 and Chapter 38 can help with context for his weird relationship with his father. Also Chapter 75 for his twisted feelings towards his mother). It’s not like he was nice to Laura and the brunette genuinely. I’d say it was the facade he puts up in front of others so as not to be hated. But because of his father passing away after his marriage with Rania, I don’t think he was in the right mindset or cared enough at that point to fake being friendly. He just wanted to die and waste away. (Unfair to Rania) The most he could do was offer divorce and money after he dies. I think you just need to re-read from the beginning. In Chapter. 44, for that particular scene, they were talking about physical attributes. Rania, word for word says, . Of course, he answers saying that he likes her breasts the most but then follows up by saying everything about her is gorgeous. Just that it is difficult not being able to “caress” her breasts, so to speak.
