Lisbell kills the first prince to stop him from killing the 2nd prince

the emperor ordered the first prince to bring the 2nd prince’s body because after people outside the emperor discovered the succession war ( yeah no one outside the empire knew about it ) they also discovered that the emperor summoned demons, so he needed the 2nd princes body to live longer and be cured of the disease

after that she kills the emperor in front of all the nobles in the empire, she also signed a contract with Asias to save the 2nd prince from dying

Spoiler: context

the 1st prince met with the 2nd prince and Lisbell.
a battle happened between them and the 2nd prince kind of sacrificed himself to save Lisbell from dying

after they save him she ran away with Asias and told the nobles and knights their new emperor is the 2nd prince. that’s how the 2nd volume ends I though it’d take longer for them to die tbh.

Spoiler: when everyone found out Lisbell is the Saint

after everyone in the empire who despised her found out that Lisbell is the Saint that people were trying to find for 113 years. everyone started bowing down to her and sending gifts/heirlooms to her
even one of the dukes (the maternal family of the 1st prince) betrayed the prince and gave her their heirloom.
that made Lisbell disgusted by the people of the empire and made her want to leave the empire.

 

Spoiler: Key points from vol 1&2

- prince 1 poisoned lisbel in the first life
-lisbel came back and pretended to be crazy to survive
-at the ball she danced for the emporer which caused prince 1 to want to kill her
-that night they had dinner and emporer announced that he will decide the heir at the end of the empire's envoy visit.
-prince 1 tried to kill lisbel but triggered her power instead and she escaped by teleportation.
-the archmage found lisbel and treated her.
-he realized that she is the daughter of helard the goddess. He and the goddess has a bet. If he finds her daughter and make the daughter his subordinate then he wins. If the daughter awaken and she takes over the daughter's body then she wins. The saint is the only one with the power to kill the goddess and assias the archmage wants to kill her. He is been alive for over 100 years.
-lisbel kissed him and asked for help to survive and the price is a kiss.
-prince 2 is her brother from the same mother so he wanted to protect her by giving her the throne. Yes that means he has to die but he prepared for it. Isaac was killed by him because he tried to kill lisbel.
-when she came back asias protected her as promised. Lisbel and prince 2 fell into prince 1 trap and prince 2 sacrificed himself for his sister.
-lisbel power fully awakened and killed a bunch of ppl. The goddess took over her body but when she met up with asias lisbel regained her body but passed out. Their deal ended because lisbel protected herself in that case while asias was busy beating up the emporer.
-emporer summoned a snake demon named Igor. He stayed alive by having the snake consume his dead family's corpse.
-asias decided to keep prince 2 alive (barely) to look good to lisbel.
-he asked lisbel to give herself to him for him to save prince 2
-goddess showed prince 2's life to listen after telling her he can't be saved.
-after seeing her brother's life lisbel decided to make a deal with asias to save him and they formed a contract.

Okay. If thats how the story rolls, im in. I like the story flow of Seduce the Villains Father, its got the right amount of fantasy and romance.

 

so in the end is 2nd prince life saved or not?

Maybe goddess isnt literally her mother but, you know, smth similar to blessed child/child of the god? Idk
(Second prince and MC have same mother so he should also have some kind of power if it was the case??)

 

This is my first time to read this type of manhwa where the mc pretends to be crazy just to survive

 

There’s a novel 10 ways to make a difference with tyrant, the MC there also pretends to be crazy to have her engagement with the emperor cancelled. But that one is so hilarious, I’ve been laughing out loud at her acting and imagination. It’s hard to compare to this manhwa where she’s on the verge of being killed every day of her life. In this environment it’s easy to go mad for real. And to be honest I think in real life she would have been killed the first, because there’s no use of a crazy person for the imperial family, especially when everyone knows she’s crazy and calls her a disgrace. I’m wondering why those other brothers haven’t killed her and other weak siblings right away and waited for almost a decade to get rid of her.

 

maybe because they didn't see her as a threat. also, just like what the earlier spoilers said, the second prince is protecting her from the shadows

Spoiler: ASSIAS

Assias is suspicious as hell. I've only read the manhwa tl, when Lizvel kissed him for the first time it was just that. The next kiss was initiated by him, who is trying to control her power, hence, subordinating her to him. I surmised that he WANTED her power that relates to the goddess Hella. However, when Lizvel noticed in the middle of the kiss that he's trying to chain or submit her powers into him, she instinctively release her "divinity" inside and took him by surpise. Later on, he thought that she was the most beautiful and fascinating woman he had ever seen but then, the goddess hella said "you can't help falling in love with my daughter." so he snapped back to reality and coldly said to her that he didn't know anything about the golden light eminated from her.

So..what do you guys think? Is he cursed by the goddess? Is he going for revenge for something atrocious done by hella? He may find Lizvel aesthetically pleasing in his eyes and wanted to own her but based from the previous spoilers, it looked like Lizvel had given the "kiss" (ownership) he wanted.

 

Omy Assias thinks the MC is beautiful but doesn't want to admit to the Goddess ANother tsun people!!

 

Hmm..I think he's not a tsun for me because he shamelessly flirt on Lizvel saying she is beautiful. It's just that when he thought about how beautiful she is, it looked like he was scared to succumb to her just like what the goddess said to him (maybe it's his past or a recurring memory from his encounter of hella) so he acted coldly afterwards.
