Drunken Wine
Little by little, quiet the sounds
The haunted, the wanted, the ones astounded
The closer the heart, the colder I get
Nothing trickles down — The End
Oh, the haste to erase the ugly comes
Followed by sighs and the wrongs
What little can you do to change?
Change ...away.
I don't recall this, to be fate
I won't submit to something without a name
Broken tears call for a longer wait
But am I? Am I still the same?
My dreams are gone, they're long passed dead
Ended quickly, in my hands
I don't regret
I won't mourn
Up another cup, they flow
Down without a second's hold
They vanish, they grieve
They never had meaning yet —
These icy tears...
Are they mine?
For whatever the cause,
I’ve drowned in wine
This drunken soul holds all that was.
Can you hear my plea, in this shallow night?
Note: I'm fine now. I found a quiet place to collect all my little thoughts to pour into this poem. What do you think of it? I want something wistful, something sorrowful but yet chaotic enough
