I think it's more because when you play high speed the note drop with some more space, theres less density so it's easier to read at higher difficulty and better lane visibility. And I feel that when you hit off note at higher spd you get better score compared with lower spd. e.g. when I'm missing a note and only hit half, in lower speed that's almost certainly bad or miss but on high speed it's great or good
