title says it all. I just read 1818 of bewitching Prince, and though I liked it enough to read 1000 chapters of it, but why is every god damn female transmigration novel identical to each other, I humbly ask recommendations for any good ones! please save me
Please make your reading list public. The Strategy to Become Good at Magic Ascendance of a Bookworm Tensei Shoujo no Rirekisho Demon Girl ~Tale of a Lax Demon~ Evil God Average I Said Make My Abilities Average! There are probably a few more if you are fine with RRL or GB genre.
I know exactly what you mean. The person they transmigrate into is always from a noble family but trash at cultivating. And thanks to their old life, they have a skill that doesn't depend on being physically strong (doctor, poison, alchemy, etc.) So many overused tropes!
I'm sure there are some gems out there, there has to be at least one... or else I really may go insane
My Disciple Died Yet Again Edit: reading list is not public. most transmigration of female mc include several cliche like assasin in previous life, trash body/status, oppressed by family/circumstances, engaged/betrothed to king/emperor, court drama/politics, could you specify what exactly that you are bored of?
There are plenty of all kinds. Or are you referring to specifically 2 genres of: Reincarnated into a video game and Cultivation?
AGRREEEEEEEEEEEDDDDD!! you really should read Doomed to be Cannon Fodder if you want something that isn't "cliche" as some people put it.
I accidentally stumbled onto the spoilers section for it, and apparently it's kind of insane, is it insane right now? real question: how's the male lead?
Eight Treasures Trousseau. but it is more about the plot than about transmigration ? It is just mentioned a few times. Also, To Be A Virtuous Wife is similar to it.
To Be A Virtuous Wife Not poison genius, doctor, or assassin. No martial arts either. Her only skill : dressing, bed fighting, and dancing.
Insanely good more like it. Think of it as a cross between a japanese villainess noble girl novel (such as Kenkyo Kenjitsu) and a chinese historical world transmigration (Such as Chu Wang Fei). The mc is trying to avoid destruction flags from the future she knows, little does she know how much she has affected the plot It's funny, and the characters are lovable. To the point where pretty much every chapter has fanfiction of the male lead and mc getting together... or getting blocked from doing so.
So gOOd, thank the lord for this novel, I read Eight Treasures Trousseau's too, but it isn't as good I think. She's one of the most intelligent FL I've read and she doesn't give a shit about anything either
Have you tried Chu Wang Fei? The mc was a police officer or something but there is no cultivation, more politics and plotting. But it is very, very slow romance wise. And for darker overtones: Princess Li Wei Yang and The Cry of the Phoenix. The cry of the phoenix (I forgot the rest of the title) has the female lead sleep with her evil arch enemy (not male lead) as part of a plot though. I liked that since it was atypical but might be a turn off for some. Favored Intelligent Concubine is a light-hearted one. Think To Be A Virtuous Wife crossed with modern day knowledge and arts talent to actively aid the kingdom. Lastly Cultivating Into A Great Celestial: Main character transmigrates into an old woman and has to cultivate to regain youth - a valid motive.
To Be a Virtuous Wife. The title is eh, but the novel itself is very good. It isn't as much about the transmigration aspect as it is that the transmigration provides for the MC's way of thinking and mentality. If you enjoy novels built around constant misunderstandings, the previously mentioned Doomed to be Cannon Fodder is good. Personally I'm not great with the constant misunderstandings thing, so I didn't go far past 50 chapters with it. Poison Genius Consort was OK, but I also dropped it personally at around 50 chapters because so many characters are just ridiculous assholes making things difficult for the pettiest reasons. If you're cool with life basically constantly shitting on the protagonist (at least for 50 and likely more chapters), it has a good translation and is fairly interesting. Eight Treasures Trousseau is, in my opinion, an inferior version of Virtuous Wife, but still a decent read. I would have probably had more fun reading Trousseau if I had read it before Virtuous Wife. Rebirth of the Malicious Empress reads a lot like a transmigration novel. The MC returns back in time into her own body, but her future self is intelligent and ruthless while her younger self was naive and not too aware of the world around her. I'm really enjoying this one.
