    Yeah, what the title of this post asks. What are the best themes used frequently or rarely which kills the family members if not the whole family of the protagonist. It could be dark, moderate or light; dark as very detailed, moderate showing only the events that aspired with some context or light, just tell that he or she died with said cause of death. You can also involve elements like sexual depravity, bestiality, gore-fest, betrayal, etc. No need to involve the family background, just the themes used for their death unless it involves a background of the family.

    I think i understood half of it...

    But maybe [a reincarnated 2 yo girl finding out her family is kinda evil and they will all be sent to the death route eventually if this continues so she murders her whole family with poison] fits what OP is asking...
