strangely i like the animation (and anyways i love BTTH) but i wonder how much they would cover from the LN? the 2 first arcs? cause it would be impossible to coverthe whole LN (i think it would be longer than one piece)
the only xinxia novels that can make decent anime are the IET novels, they arent to long and dont get too ridiculous with the killings, for example coiling dragon can easily be done in about 300-400 episodes, the nine cauldrons can be done in 200 or so episodes, but the japanese and there loli's/Moe and p@ssy MC wont ever do a serious CN adaptation, serious every season there is only 2-3 good animes the rest is all crap, the saturation of Shounen and Shoujo/female stuff is getting ridiculous so far, is not like in the 80s/90s and even early 2000s were seinen/mature theme animes were coming out in the dozens
Even tho I was glad to hear there will be a BTTH 3d anime coming....,I thought the whole video was a bogus or at least that is what it felt like it. Well, anyways I got a feeling that the 3d anime version of BTTH would totally kill the story. Also maybe it is just me but I personally think it would've been much better if it's made into a normal anime adaption instead of this 3d anime adaption.
Maybe I would have liked the overall concept better if the characters looked more like the manhua and I would rather have used 2D animation instead of 3D.
It sounds cool and all, but sadly I doubt it will be any good. Way too many chapters to cover, of course they could just skip all the training, and all the side arcs. But that would defeat the point of a Xianxia, wouldn't it? Then there is the horrible animation. *shudders* Even worse, this is the kind of situation where if you screw up at all, the genuine anime viewers watching it, will drop it on the spot.
It looks watchable. I'll probably take a look after a few episodes. The animation style is kinda weird but it still looks okay. And heyZ at least it's not like Coiljng Dragon where the old man is turned into a girl with wings in the adaption.>.>
"Slightly less"? Really?, this is Blizzard we're talking about you know? And you're comparing a movie they personally animated, to this?
Fortunately they start with the bad novels, so hopefully when they get to ISSTH and WoC they won't completely ruin them...
To be honest if the op had not mentioned that it was BTTH I might not have noticed from watching that pv, looks so generic even if the cg look fine overall. And the mc seem quite different from both the novel and manhua versions, at least from what I rememeber of him as I dropped both quite a while ago.
Actually, I like it. As long as they dont butcher the story and get it to the ending, I would like to watch it for sure. Btw, any recommendations for other xianxia/wuxia anime (live action movies tend to get a bit too silly special effects or awkwardly "wooden" fighting for my taste) with full story and good quality graphics?
