So what do you think I think it's an ok anime but when I compare it to manga and novel it's not very good The voices aren't what I imagined For some reason I feel the faces give very different impressions then the manga faces perfume manga faces Maria's hair colour bugs me Just the epic ness can't compare to manga so far
I'm not the first, and I'm not the last to say this. The novel is almost always better than the adaptations.
me chose manga it fell more right with my imagination in my brain, and no cencor if anime it fell when your expectation not in accordance with reality, like tokyo ghoul s2. expect like anime who produce better grapic or battle scene like aniplex for Fate series, and tales of zepteria
I will have hard time watching this as i did read manga before ;( I prefer to watch anime before manga/novel
Manga tries to show a novel as even better than it is. Including sketches for characters and all ... To boost popularity. Novel is extensively written with focus on each detail whereas anime tends to skip on these unimportant parts, which imo, does not matter if u don't want to go too deep into novel. Therefore, what I usually do is (for JPnovel) read manga, then check anime and then go for novel, if it really suits my taste.
I'll tell you how well the anime is when I can actually watch it. But novel is almost always 100% better.
Plot although predictable seems interesting. But the (character) animation art feels like something out of the current(2016-17) cheap looking hentai. So.. novel is better
Yeah, the voices were not exactly what I had imagined as well, but I guess it is not bad? The faces are different... it kinda saddens me, but not to the point of heartbreak. ...I really gotta read the LN. Yeah, I kinda had that thought too. Well, it is not really comparable to a cheap hentai as those are even worse, but I could have sworn animes from 2012 - 2014 were even better than this. ...well, it is still the first episode, so I hope the other episodes will be fun. I have checked it and although they were made somewhat shorter, I don't think there are any deviations from the manga.
Anime is a little too childish for me, both in writing and the characters. I enjoyed the novels, and a little of the manga.
Just done watching it. The drawing art is not same as the manga. I like the manga way better. I can't even believe that I finished watching it.. The anime looks like hentai character.
Yes, yes. I know how you feel. Still, we can only hope that the rest of the episodes won't be as depressing as now.
I just watched the opening and something about Naoto's design makes me cringe. I imagined him more happy-go-lucky and carefree, but the animators drew him like some overly serious man on a mission. I haven't even started ep 1 and I'm already considering dropping Clockwork Planet. Oh, and I voted novel is best, but somehow when I get bored it's the manga I go reread. The novel is great, but it's a bit wordy.
- Yes, yes. I know, I know... - Hey, it was either this, or Clockwork Planet in 2018 or 2019. Budget, motivation and time are difficult to get nowadays.
