Do you ask for recommendations when you run out of novels to read or do you just search one on your own? Whyyyy?
I mostly search for my novels myself. I ask only when I'm looking for something very specific that the tags can't help me find, or when I'm conflicted about reading a particular novel. I'm always happy to recommend novels to people though. And if anyone gives me a random recommendation, I'm pretty happy to accept those as well.
i mostly search on my own... mostly because i read most of the bl novels translated (or at least, those that interested me) and i just find stuff in jjwxc and the like...
I usually don't have anything specific in mind that I want to read so I search around until something catches my interest. I just end up rereading the same stuff over and over again though
rarely~ its kinda the bad side of this cat which read too much story~ rarely impressed~ unless this cat put out da brain on da closet which happen most of time maybe? da cat goes vroom vroom!
I usually search by myself. As a fellow Invisible Dragon supremacist. I do not want to get an Invisible Dragon recommendations.
*gaze intensifies* Anyway, it's fine to ask , it's just that some people go like 'recommend plx' and then don't mention anything they like, even if they mention a single keyword like 'original' or a single novel title, what did they like about that title since it's all subjective. If i see a topic that's to the point, mentions what they've read and liked and have clear thoughts on what they would like to see i enjoy recommending a novel that i feel is often overlooked. It gets annoying when they don't show their reading list or mention anything, but then shoot down anything people recommend 'read it', it's fine if they reply with something like how they've read it , what they thought of it and the minor courtesy of 'but thank you' helps.
It's sorta mix. I usually search on my own half the time. However there's a few nuffians who have similar tastes to me, I'll stalk the reviews or ask then if they've picked up anything interesting as of late
I search, but if I come across a recommendation page and find intriguing novels on it, then I do add them to my list Ah, this! It's like going to the doctors and not mentioning what the issue is.
Unless I'm looking for something specific that I know I can't search (or can't bother to search ) on my own, I mostly look for them myself. Somehow things that I ended up liking are ones that I look for myself, compared to when I ask directly. I do search from existing rec threads and review sites. Mostly from NU series finder and the original sites. But looking for novels directly at jjwxc is so cumbersome is it the unfriendly interface? No cover and summary displayed in the filter page? Searching system that I don't understand?
I believe in fate lol My fate with novel lolol So I usually found novel coincidentally then find myself getting hooked on it, all the good novels I read happen like that~ If I asked recommendation from someone, it kinda hard getting me to it in the end, but still I am curious what kind of novel other peoples interested in I will be more than happy to recommend someone my fav novel
I tend to search novels myself. Cause sometimes, I'm looking for something specific. And even if I'm aimlessly searching around, I feel like just reading summaries helps me find something that catches my interest better... Since I'm seeing a glimpse of the novel (through the summaries) from my own perspective.
why ask when you can stalk random people's reading list Joke aside, I normally look through new chapter releases and read whatever catches my fancy.
I'll only ask for a recommendation if i really can't find anything that interest me. Besides this, i'll just go to the latest series or browse through the completed ones.
