So not sure if this has been mentioned before or not but you can actually buy this book on Google books! You'll have to translate yourself (Google has a built in translator that you can use to do page by page.) I currently bought the first two books in the series and am working my way through it. I'll try to post spoilers once I finish! (Book is under original name when searching in Google bookstore, 여즈를 믿지 마세요! )
Spoiler: ending (chapter 163) Madenna and Farren (black haired red eyes) had been married for 2 years, they didn't mind the idea of having children, overall it was a happy ending
Just found out about the manhwa today! Hoping this thread gets filled with spoilers since the novel translations seem unlucky last I checked
I just want to know what happens to Suzanne please. I want MC to get her revenge on that white lotus psychopath.
I honestly don't remember much seeing as I read the novel in so long (is it no longer available on the internet? Even on aggregator sites?) From what I can remember, she is an isekai'd person, that's why she stuck with Suzanne on TL1 simply because she's the heroine and she was wary with Farren because he was the book antagonist. While she did came to adore Suzanne, please consider the fact Suzanne heavily manipulated her once sponsored such as telling Madenna not to wear colors that secretly suited her or even planted doubts on mother and daughter. Madenna's mom was wary of Suzanne since day 1 based on what I can remember on Madenna's flashbacks but sadly succumbed to what I believe was an accident? Again, if I remember it right MCs rerun happened moments after execution so the trauma is fresh but I don't remember WHEN exactly she was brought back, just that it was certainly before she sponsored Suzanne
I can’t believe what I’m reading here… you people ship 12 y/o KID with 18y/o ADULT woman but u have problems when the FL is younger than the ML? What a hypocrisy. (I specifically mean “I became a maid in a tl novel” readers)
Technically, the FL in I became a main in TL novel is an adult in a teen's body but that's beside the point. The point is the Fl there wanted out of the bloody kingdom but because at first she was entertaining then he fell for her. He kept her. It's not that he was really horrible. I have seen way more horrible MLs. But it just they didn't have equal standing in the relationship emotionally or mentally. She was just a lowly maid from a sus origin, trying to survive and he was a powerful king pestering her out of curiosity. (Are we supposed to find that cute) I don't know maybe it was the way he was written in the manhwa for me. But something about him, rubbed me the wrong way . I was genuinely cheering for her to get the f*ck out of there but alas my dear friend, we know that is not happening.
There are almost none fantasy novels where main leads have equal standing, because there’s always either noble hierarchy or the issue with women having less rights than a man. In this novel ML is not only younger, but he’s also a commoner while MC is a noble and is his boss basically, so the power dynamic is messed up. The only thing that is justifying this pairing is that ML has fallen for MC from the first sight when he was a kid and was meticulously working on growing his powers and achievements to be worthy of her.
