People had abandoned all of them

Abandoning is done for many reasons, I abandon eggs regularly.

1. Breeding. You can only keep 1 egg from any batch of eggs so the rest are auto-abandoned
2. You made a mistake (i.e. bred the wrong dragons, etc.) when breeding and don't want the egg anymore (so you toss it into the AP)
3. You take eggs from the AP but don't like them, so you toss them back
4. You're trying to create a wall (i.e. fill the AP up with a specific breed by continuously breeding and abandoning your eggs of that breed)
5. You need space for other dragons ASAP so you abandon to get more space.

As for killing, there's reasons for that, too.
1. Accidental killings, like when a vampire bites your egg and it dies instead of turning, or when you use earthquake and some of the eggs simply perish
2. Killing a few minutes before it dies in a ND experiment may save the dragon's life by forcing it to hatch
3. You can also kill an egg/hatchling so it doesn't take up a slot, though it'd be better to abandon to the AP since killed eggs/hatchlings still count towards your total for another 24 hours

You're welcome! You don't have to abandon/kill (purposeful killing's pretty rare imo) if you don't want to, so you can just pick eggs and raise them! \o/

The one and only time I earthquaked, everyone died...

I messed up my first lunar herald breeding (I forgot the phases, I'm not very experienced with it QAQ)


I got a gold instead of a silver herald.

I'm going to give it away, and I figured I'd ask here first if anyone wants a golden lunar herald and doesn't care about the lineage (it's 2g but miscolored).

And by batch it's like... when you breed, you can get up to 4 (?) eggs, right? Then you can keep 1. The other 3 will be auto-abandoned within 24 hours, so... people will like give the others away before time's up.

I've never gotten more than one egg from a pair breeding though, so I don't have any first-hand experience to give. That's just what I read from the help pages + forums.

Oh and err... if everyone might consider going to account setting and checking off the boxes for "display username..." and "accept aid..." It would help me help your dragons...
