I honestly don't know where else can I look to solve this. Scoured reddit, googling stackexchange. I probably will just repair windows partition if this doesn't work by the end of the day. So... I'm struggling with dual booting my windows/linux. The partition scheme used is gpt. the efi partition is located in hd0,gpt1. When I run: chainloader /efi/Microsoft/Boot/bootmgfw.efi it returned error: invalid signature I've checked the path too, and there is no problem from the path. using --force as a parameter for chainloader just did not give me something bootable. Help?
Can't really tell what is the problem just by that, sorry Also not sure if this might help, but most dual boots problems I ran into were solved by running "update-grub" command Just in case, did you see this, maybe it can help
Did you disable secure boot? Edit: If you are trying to make it work with secure boot: https://askubuntu.com/questions/680851/dual-boot-with-secure-boot-invalid-signature
