I know this must be a strange request. But do you know stories where no one is left alive in the end? Even the protagonist can't escape that fate. It must be Chinese, Japanese or Korean one.
So you wont accept in English? Kekeke I'm Joking XD I don't think there is such novel.... a small chance i guess
there is, a cn author got tired of his novel, instead of completing it he made that ending. Just i don't remember wich novel it is
Yes, there is my little sister. Don't you remember the stories of that da** Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet? Hehe..
I don't really know a novel on here. The movie "Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance" might be what you're looking for. The last Narnia book and "Cabin in the Woods" fall into the category, but they're not foreign, so... That said, I know a lot of stories where the protagonist dies at the BEGINNING of the story (and I am excluding transmigrations and rebirth stories). But that's not really what you're looking for, is it?
I don't think this is what you are looking for, but there is an old anime out there in which (if I remember correctly) every single introduced character dies. It is called 11 Eyes and is VN based which makes me think that they either chose a bad ending to base the anime on, or that VN was made in that style make of that what you will.
IDK for novels, but for anime, there are 2 titles that I know where most/many members of the group died be it during the series, middle of the movie or during the final battle: Gundam Iron Blood Orphans (probably host the highest body count of the series main/protagonist group of all Gundam series) Farewell Space Battleship Yamato (movie, 1978. I didn't watch for it's 2199 & 2202 revival/remake(?), since that 1978 movie kinda leaves me w/ bitter memories due to that I watched it sometime at my early elementary school year)
Thanks mate. I watched those movies. They were great. And no, I’m not looking for a transmigration story in which the protagonist dies at the beginning.
Thank you both. I will try to find out if this animation has been remaking. If so, I'm definitely looking forward to them.
