I think I have mentioned it before sometime before, but one of the many online names I have (and only normies use one main account for everything online) is a somewhat self-deragotary one. Soooo... I had an online conference with rl stuff and it was google meet and I logged in with that account...! Thankfully, the people there are either not very tech-savvy, or they are just tactful, but it is quite embarassing to imagine people seeing a plaque saying "I am trash" under your webcam
Might as well roll with it. Start cycling through user names and see if anyone says anything. One week you are trash. The next? hamster overlord.
Meh... I mean, I applied for job interviews with my Gmail account, created waaaayyyyyy back in the year 2000. I wonder what any of my potential bosses would have thought seeing an email starting with "evil". ... my youthful indiscretions...
I have always joined online conferences with a username which pretty much gives away my weeb roots, and was never given any indication that it was inappropriate or was thought less of. Do get teased by my colleagues, tho.
my email was made in primary school. I had a fanfics self insert character as my name a year or 2 ago I decided I had enough of awkward replies when people asked for my email. so I made one with my real name. the chuuni account is reserved for ads though
I like that, it's a fun username. One of my google related usernames is super cringe because I simply wanted to see if the name was taken already and it wasn't so I just rolled with it. People might have preconceptions of me based on t hat name, but I still think it's hilarious. As they say, "embrace your inner cringe".
Something like that happen in a zoom meeting and the judge grilled him. It is one thing if it is in the office(they might just laugh it off) but in a court? especially if the username is b*ttf*cker 3000
No, that one is mild and judge is understanding. The one that I talking about is worst as the name appear is "b*ttf*cker 3000 and the judge is pissed.
