It's sooo satisfying. Gu Xinlang is a real loving gentleman unlike a jerk *staring at LZG. Honestly, I almost cried when GX almost killed himself when Xiaoxiao went MIA
i think that person was talking about at the end. When the mountain where the Yongsheng Temple was at erupted, MC and her master was inside the volcano trying to stave off time. Then it erupted. MC and her master went missing for two weeks or so
So like, there are tribe people I think in the north, they are at war against one of the country that one of MC’s host’s lover lived at. Apparently the big bad boss was apprentice to one of the witch doctor yearsss ago. Among the tribe people and witch doctors, there’s a legend that a freaking long time ago, there was a gu person who for one reason or another grew to hate human. That gu person massacre the people and went away. Words that the gu person ascend to heaven (in a cultivation kind, not drop dead). turns out, the body of the gu person was chained up in one of the cave in Yongsheng temple. The master, in one of his trip to avenge MC, died and transmigrated into that gu person. Who the BBB inexplicably resembles.
This doesn't happen until right at the very end of the story. He's a really goofy character. And Xiaoxiao isn't going let something as puny as a volcano hurt her.
Can someone spoil me about MC's Seventh Brother? That old fortune teller said something about their eight characters being intolerant or inconsistent to each other. What happens to him at the end?
Not a whole lot. The book doesn't take place over a very long period of time so he's only 2-3 years old when it ends. What the fortune says is that the two are fated to never get along with each other. I doubt anything could ever come out of it because there's no way he can do anything to harm Xiaoxiao even outside of the scope of the story.
