Hi all just curious how long you take to read a chapter of a novel,i have seen my friend reading on wuxiaworld where they took less than 1 to 2 second to read 1 line.
CN novelists r experts in the dao of the filler, so it's suggested to master the dao of the skim 4 faster and better reading experience.
depend how, sometimes I jump a paragrahp or two if needed, sometimes I just need to read the first and the last line and still understand without the details, so it's fast only for a not so much detailed chapters...
when is started reading novel, i enjoyed every scene, every character, every words of it. But now, i just skim the shit out of them, sometime i dont even remember names. lol
man, i did 300 chapters in 1~2 weeks, on a day where I spend like 6-8 hours I only managed 20 chapters lmao. How are you doing this XD
idk if its normal but im quite shocked honestly, or maybe my reading speed is just slow as compared to others ):
Wait untill you finish any novel written by IET !!! ( I loved them, even thou they were kinda long ... )
I think I do a very decent speed. Can usually get through 100 chapters with decent lengths before the day is up.
If I am binging I can go through most series in a day or two. Some of the longer ones (like horizon etc) take atmost a week for me.
Depends on if I've read it before or no. If I have, I kinda skim until I reach the parts I like. If I haven't, I read around 500 words a minute.
takes me a few min to read a chapter. Longer chapters take a few min more... once there is a lot of useless fluff I will begin to skim read and read the chap in under a minute if there is no real substance to a chapter. I'm generally a fast reader tho. (as a side note, a scientific study will take me 10 times longer per sentence to make sure I understand everything being said, so some studies take me half an hour to read for the content of about a chapter of a web-novel lol)
