Also I wanted to ask. cuz I usually interchange between reading on my computer and on my phone. Is there a bookmark chapter function on the desktop site so that i can continue it on the app?

 

thank you <3 and you are right about 纯爱. apparently because of censorship, 耽美 category got removed and 纯爱 is used instead for bl novels on jjwxc so it's just a jj way of doing things

went to try but nope, the bookmark function is only in the app! bookmarking on desktop site is the same as adding the novel to favourites. thanks for asking!

Do you know how the red packets that authors set in each chapter work?

 

about red packets, they really depend on the authors.

not every author gives red packets, and usually, authors either give red packets when they just started on a new novel OR when the novel just entered the VIP stage.

only readers who commented have the chance to get a red packet. the author might give red packets to everyone who commented on that particular chapter OR the first (a number) comments OR (a number) randomly selected comments. this kind of red packets usually contains 19 jj points which is automatically added to your balance and you will receive a notification about that! (authors will usually say under 作者有话说 if they are giving out 红包， though some will give you without specially announcing that.）

A lots of things have changed. China is much more open now. Just that some people are 作死 they do a lots of 擦边球. Generally I'm very welcome towards the censoring. Just like how social media such as facebook produce more stress and depression, Yes facebook produce sadness instead of happiness with so called freedoms and racial hates. Censoring the social media and webs can mitigate some of the damage.
