Most or the kingdom building novels/comics that I've read have male lead. I wanted to read about a strong or growing fmc this time. Is there any novel or comics with a smart and rational female lead? Maybe she's an illegitimate child of some noble or a refugee. Whatever it is, I accept your recommendations. If possible, please give me the link to the stories. Thank you.
I only know a few novels like that... The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady (I think it will start around 900chapters...if I remember correctly) Chitra (Manhwa) My Twin Sister Was Taken as a Miko and I Was Thrown Away but I’m Probably the Miko Common Sense of a Duke’s Daughter
Unprecedented Pill Refiner: Entitled Ninth Young Lady The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady In both the novels, the female leads build a kingdom but the process isn't intricate enough. But well these are the only two I have read
https://www.novelupdates.com/series/the-rebirth-of-han-yuxi/The Rebirth of Han Yuxi. She basically build the kingdom because her husband is not that bright in politics. It's 1600 chapters and only 300 translated, in my opinion the MTL is readable. But the after story also include her children and grandchildren and they are disappointing lol. One good/bad thing about this novel is its realistic depiction of humanity - a lot of 'good' guys eventually become 'bad' guys because of their short sightedness and moral failings, and that includes her children!
Hmm the only novel that i know : - For a Prosperous World (this is CN, so it has many chapters) - Her Majesty’s Swarm (If you like Overlord, you may like this one) - Ascendance of a Bookworm (the story line is quite slow imo) - Common sense of duke's daughter (not too long but not too short chapters. An enjoyable novel)
Tearmoon Empire is more focused on comedy/misunderstandings, but there is a bit of empire building throughout Tori Transmigrated has some territory building a bit later into the story Demesne Protagonist: The Whims of Gods has some kingdom building elements Memoirs of Your Local Small-time Villainess is more about adventure/action so far, but since the MC is a baroness and head of her house, there have been a few elements of management, and there might be more later on.
The Empress’ Livestream It takes a long time to get there, but this is very much a kingdom building novel, and the protagonist is very in charge. This story is heavily based on the Three Kingdoms so expect stratagems and political shenanigans. I love this book, and I reread parts of it all the time, but it's not really a kingdom building novel. The protagonist does help out a couple of would-be rulers but she has no interest in power for herself. It's amazing nonetheless, and I'd say that any reader who cares about interpersonal relationships should read it.
Sadly you'll have to read it in Chinese. Which is really too bad because it's such a fun read. The writer's other books are also good and well worth reading. Unfortunately I don't think any of them are translated either.
