male, non-naive MC with some romance. space combat as in "star wars" ship fights not magical powers "i can breathe in space". harem and fleet command would be nice but not needed. 20+ chaps and either long (at least 50 chaps) or being updated. many others i read were dropped, currently reading tidal lock on RRL, but its not enough to get my fix.
Shallower Star The only one I know that got *I can breathe in space thingy* And Of course u need sufficient power lvl to do that
"Perimeter Defense" is hands down the best space-combat litrpg on the market right now. on RRL you can also fine "Tidal Lock" which is also very good, but not as long. A bit better combat in my opinion though and its a VRMMO theme. If you want to try reading a longer book and series try Neil Asher's "Polity" Series. It starts with a book called "Gridlinked" But the first one chronologically is "Prador Moon" Lots of alien fighting and great sci-fi combat both on land and space. The series is like 7 books or so and very good. Also a good try is the "Honour Harrignton" series, which is very much focused on space combat. The MC is female but she is also a badass and as I said this book is more combat focused than Polity, but also much higher quality than Perimeter Defense, however it is not Litrpg. It starts with a book called "Basilisk Station" ____ Of course, none of the novels listed are asian and I'll put links in too so you can more easily use it.
Try Legend of Galactic Heroes , it's a really good space opera, the translation of the novel stopped but you can watch the anime afterward, good stuff too and with a lot to watch (and it's complete).
I used to read https://www.fanfiction.net/s/4811481/1/StarGate-Galactic-Imperium space combat is great, combination of star wars, stargate and others is epic, though I skimmed trough details of ship weapons like what cannons and turrets it had (it is very detailed)
Scifi + harem are somewhat a niche, compared to the huge number of fantasy stories around in Japanese/Chinese/Korean WN. And in Western books, while great scifi works exist, scifi + harem are practically non existent. I'll copy paste my recommendation from another thread here though: Another western one: Subjugation by Fel. (18+ though, so beware, even if it's not really the case at the beginning) It stands on its own as an incredible scifi story about the building of a galactic empire, with multiple races, technologies, and many space battles, but it has harem (also swinging later, I appreciated that less, but it's really way more minor than I thought, nothing to be fearful off actually). It's a huge story (10000+ pages I think, and still WIP), well written, so all characters besides the story main character are well developed. The story is about the enslavement of Earth into a agricultural planet, by a telepathic elf looking matriarchal society of aliens, the Faey, and follow the adventures of the clever main character, who is learning Faey technology to operate the conquerors machines. Some day, he kinda pissed off a beautiful Fay imperial marine, a thing she wasn't used to in this planet... Seriously, it's an amazing scifi story, and an amazing harem story, with harem characters all having strong and independent personalities (no trophy harem here, they literally kick asses, which is a big plus for me). And it's FREE I suggest trying the first book (it's highly probable that you won't be able to stop afterwards though )
@exseen , try this one out. But beware its r-18 story.http://storiesonline.net/s/14679/three-square-meals
Invasion by hot and curvy space elfs who force dumber humans to farm and smarter ones to learn their technology? Oh boy..
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/sho...ace-opera?comment=169858625#comment_169858625 and Return of the Ancients, Heaven Falls Jedi on Earth PM me if you want links
God, I remember reading that... not even sure how far I got anymore, but you can REALLY sink your teeth into it and binge for days. Plus its not translated which for me makes the stylistic choices much better than most translations already.
Star Rank Hunter - romance is weak in that one kind of Skyfire Avenue - the fighting more often takes places on planets, but there a space ships and mecas that can be used to fight in space; once you reach a certain level of power you can fight in space following the I can breath in space concept - but as of chapter 781 the MC is not able to do that
Galactic Darknet - Great, not much romance(only read to the 100th chapter), and uh, well, it's Galactic, with Sci-Fi. Not much needs to be said~
