If all he needed was pictures of them and a potential conversation, then why didn't they just send a drone. Even if it took a hundred of them before one wasn't destroyed out of hand, it would still have been better than sacrificing their strongest monster trainer. And given their behavior up to that point, their attack on him was something that could have been easily predicted.

Actually, for that matter, didn't they already have pictures of the trainers and their familiars? From the satellites that couldn't be destroyed and the drones that managed to take at least one picture before being destroyed?

That aside, I wonder if he'll insist on destroying their familiars in retribution for their lack of diplomacy. He really should, but its Japan that they attacked, so I'm not sure he will.

 

I have this strong feeling that Flowing Light is about to get smaller...

 

Did he resurrected his parents?
