I really love the first 35 or so second of it, so I was wondering if there was any genre of songs dedicated to this type of tracks. I love the magical/haunting quality of it.
You can search "Active NEETs" on youtube for orchestra(the touhou ones) or any Tales / Ar tonelico/ Atelier Series will do.
Look for Ethereal music. If you're looking for a song, maybe something like this ? or or just look for the composers, Yoko Kanno, Yuki Kajiura have a few of them, and maybe try Akiko Shikata. ENYA also shouldn't be missed.
You should use listenonrepeat to listen only the first 35s: https://listenonrepeat.com/ I heard somewhere else a similar song but sadly for you (and me) i don't remember it.
Why don’t you give the YouTube channel relaxing fantasy music a try. They have music like you are looking for. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLdhzT83SscRGP3I0cJVFT5qSAQ4LppuV Adrian von Ziegler is another good YouTube channel to check out for fantasy music. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLtQtDkpNHslRpvVul7mi_3T4bRoF4-gZv
Now i begin to remember that the "similar song" i heard is some kind of background ost for a game. Still not remembering where though, quite frustating...
You might find the NieR:Automata one soft at the start, but if you got earphones on don't put your volume on too loud
I think alot of the Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle OST's have a similar magical/haunting quality, though maybe not the right sound you're looking for. They can be hard to find now though, most of the videos were removed awhile ago. Here is one: Spoiler + the playlist I found it in https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL389139B24339DCF7 Also, someone gave me this one before, though I've never played the game(s?). I think it might have some similar stuff in there (somewhere). edit: While I was listening to some of the Tsubasa songs, .hack//sign came up in the recommended. I think there were some in the ost for that show that were also sortof haunting. edit2: Oh, no wonder. Seems like the OST's for both anime were done by the same person.
Some of Kimi no na wa's OST are similar to this, forgot the title tho, it's instrumental and i don't mean the main OST (zen zen zense, sparkle, op and ed song)
