I guess I'll be hosting an ALL-PRs game after all. I really wanted to try out the other setups though sure, the player list has filled, but I'd like to have at least 1 backup more... so the game can't start yet anyways. ------------------------ The game will run in an ALL-PRs setup. The voting phase lasted long enough, so I'm ending it now since the last setup clearly got the majority of votes. Well, congrats. Final Vote Count ALL-PRs: (6) Blitz, Zone Q11, Scattered mind, Nagashiro, Raven, GonZ555 Epic Duel: (2) Rotte, Blitz 09:12: (3) Rotte, Blitz, Zone Q11 Chain of Command: (2) Rotte, Blitz
All-PRs setup info The role-list is completely hidden. There will be no citizens in the game, every single player will have a passive or/and active ability. You only have 2 bullets, allowing you to perform your night action up to 2 times. You win with the Town You must kill the Mafia Spoiler: Paranoid Gun Owner You are a Paranoid Gun Owner. Going on alert makes you kill anybody who comes to your house that night, both evil and good, so use this power carefully or you will do more harm than good. This can also kill people who are normally night immune, like the Godfather. You are immune to attacks, and any other harmful night actions while on alert. Watch out for the strongman though, as he can bypass your night abilities. You can go on alert only 2 times throughout the game. You are immune to being roleblocked. You win with the Town You must kill the Mafia Spoiler: Role Blocker You are a Role Blocker. Each night you can choose one player to visit. You will spend the night with your target, who will be too busy to use their role that night, effectively roleblocking them. Your target will be informed that they were roleblocked. You will spend the night with your target, who will be too busy to use their role that night, effectively roleblocking them. Your target will be informed that they were roleblocked. You win with the Mafia You must kill the Town ) Even though the roles in the general list do have names, the roles in the game WILL NOT. The abilities may or may not be X-shot, have restrictions, or be modified in any way I can think of. There will be no overpowered roles in the game. There will be no alignment changes mid-game. I’ll try to make the game rather balanced, so that both sides have a chance to win, but please have in mind that I’m not an expert in doing that. Lynching or killing a player will result in them being removed from the game with their RC being revealed to the public. Example Role Card: Spoiler You’re a member of the town. Abilities: Active: [insert a description here] Passive: [insert a description here] Win condition: You win with when all threats to the town have been eliminated. Additional notes: The mafia can perform the night kill and use their abilities at the same time. The scums will be provided with a list of possible role modifications.
Mechanics and Game Details: Day: 48h Night: 24h There is a mafia day chat. Lynch: Plurality and Majority (Plurality: the person with the highest number of votes at the end of the day gets lynched. Majority: If at any point of the game the majority of the players vote on one person, the day will end immediately and that person will be lynched) In case of a tie, I’ll lynch the person who’s wagon started first. Posting requirements: At least 2 contributive posts every 24 hours. Votes count as contribution. Asking questions related to the game counts as contribution. Commenting on other players’ posts and saying that they’re town/mafia counts as contribution. Joke-posts and posts with no content do not count. In order to count, the posts have to bring sth new into the conversation. If a person doesn’t meet the required amount, they will be prodded (PMed by me that if they want to play, they have to meet their posting criteria in 18 hours from now on, or I’ll have to replace them.) If a player doesn’t respond, or gets prodded twice, they’ll be replaced. -------------------------------------- @raven , @Blitz , @Fossil , @LNOnlineOtaku , @Scattered mind , @bbninjas , @GonZ555 , @Nagashiro , @Zone Q11 , @Evil_Ginger This is addressed mostly to those who haven't played in the previous game, but I'm pinging all of you just to make sure you're all aware of the posting requirements and game mechanics.
sigh... I'm not really thrilled to say that, but if no one signs up as backup till tomorrow, I'll prob start the game with the last slot open. I don't want to make people wait so long when the game has already filled... Just PLEASE be active, so that I don't have to deal with too many replacements later on ): The game should start in about 24 hours. Perhaps a bit earlier if someone fills the last spot GL
All Role cards have been sent. Starting the game soon. If you see me making a thread, please don't write anything in there until I announce that the day has started. This game will begin with a night phase. All roles that can use their abilities N0 will be informed of that. If you didn't receive a message, it means that you're unable to perform an action this night.
