Spoilers please? I have read too many novels with jerk MLs who think the world and the FL should bow down to them and their great power *Rolling eyes*. I am totally done with unappealing MLs, unapologetic MLs, MLs who deserve to die like cannon fodder. So what kind of ML does this book have?
O_O still no spoilers here how surprising . . . O_O It hasn't been updated for a while as well didn't even realise I was reading this
I read it and give up halfway. From the story so far, it reminds me of Nirvana in Fire. MC was a princess, her country got attacked. She wanted to take revenge. She pretended to be a strategist and the prince trust her right away. It's ridiculous how quick he trust her and also how fast she knew people enough to bribe etc. Like seriously. Even readers comments pointed the same flaws. In NIF, MCS spent 13 years to build his reputation from zero. He was hailed as genius from young, the brightest man in the capital. So it's no wonder people trust his ability.
Is there further spoiler on the general plot? The story is pretty unrealistic so far in how they portray people and personalities. She did not even try to find her brother first and happily stay in a hut for a month, once she is out she still did not try to find him but was bent on revenge instead. The prince just somehow trust her and easily get threatened from few sentences and does not already have a trusted advisor, etc etc. Feels like the plot is just moved cos author says so. Wondering if it gets better in later chapters and if the late romance could make up for it.
