Aim the Deepest Part of the Different World Labyrinth A New Game from the Depths of Captivity the two of them have depth in them, depth in their titles
YESSSS!!! It’s time again to promote my favourite Chinese novel that is completed in raws but not fully translated in English yet. Poison Genius Consort is really one of the best novels there is. There’s character development in both the FL and the ML It’s a very interesting plot with a really OP couple! The FL has a back bone and is not a damsel in distress The writing and translating of the novel is super good Conclusion: you’d get really hooked onto this novel once you start reading it, by the way the recent translated chapters are full of fluff and some people has been having nosebleeds (aka me). Another conclusion: please oh please read it , it’s sooo good (I can’t emphasise more than this)
Gomen ne, Onii-sama Tales of the Reincarnated Lord The Amber Sword The Lazy King Also, I stopped reading it but it's pretty good if I remembered right: Akuyaku Reijo Ni Koi Wo Shite I am the Monarch Risou no Himo Seikatsu
Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu The Faraway Paladin Rokujouma no Shinryakusha!? Ascendance of a Bookworm Twelve Kingdoms 86 AntiMagic Academy “The 35th Test Platoon” Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon Goblin Kingdom Rokka no Yuusha Tower of Karma Ouroboros Record Zhu Xian Heaven's Shadow Monarch of Evernight Divine Throne of Primordial Blood Immortal Everlasting Immortal Firmament Nirvana In Fire Main Character Hides His Strength
What's with people not reading the questions and dumping a bunch of novels. Anyway, here's my recommendation : https://www.novelupdates.com/series/an-otome-games-burikko-villainess-turned-into-a-magic-otaku/ If you're okay with transported into an otome game, this is as good as it gets, since it starts with the character being 3 years old, you'll get to see the other characters change. You're not going to find that many good novels with good fleshed out characters because the authors suck and they often don't have enough chapters on this site to show it. And they use what little talent they have on the action and stroking the protagonist's ego, so if you really want high-qual, romance might be the way when it comes to the ratio of good to bad novels.
Have you readed Gantz manga its indeed interesting, if you look past the gore its an interesting work.
For English Originals: The Gam3 A Practical Guide to Evil Super Powereds Mother of Learning The Good Student Aethernea All of them have at least a school arc (or are set at a school). They vary in quality, though all at least meet my high minimum standards.
I cant believe no-one's recommended Andur's glorious novels yet. Most (if not all of them) have a school arc (of some sort though they usually arent long) and the romance is probably the best written ive seen from RRL stories. There is currently 8 completed novels, all of very good but not draggy length, 1 in progress and a collection of small chapter count oneshots. 7 of them are part of the same series. You can read them in whatever order you like (except the novel split into two books) or you can read them in the order i'd recommend (for better understanding in the first read through): 1. Transcendence 2. Beyond 3. Coeus 4. Until Death 5. The Court of Souls Book 1 6. The Court of Souls Book 2: Agent of the Realm Book 7, Body and Soul, has one of the same lead chars as the rest of the series but isnt directly linked like the rest of the series is to each other. It would technically sit between Nos. 3 and 4. It's only barely referenced a few times throughout the series, and mostly because of the last chapter or two. You can find Andur's works on http://royalroadl.com/user/profile/3091/fictions or you can pick up PDFs or EPUBs of most of the novels at Armaell's Library. http://armaell-library.net/author/andur
Mother of Learning Order of the Stick, yes, I'm serious about this one. Lots of good characters who grow and change over the course of the series. Also, while knowing D&D is helpful, it's far from necessary to enjoy the series, so don't let the in-jokes discourage you from reading it. Zombie Knight
Praise the Orc Haroon Valhalla Saga above are KR novels with VR/Game element with different world building and approach from many vr/game element novels
The school thing wasn't a requirement, just a preference, and TZK has a lot of good characterization, plot progression and world building in it. It's also got a power system that I haven't seen anywhere else, so I'm not sure why you'd say that it doesn't match the request.
As the Spirit-sama Says Kami Sumeragi Yuusha no Eiyuutan 《Ryokou Tan》 The Dungeon Seeker Those are just as deep as Mushoku Tensei.
