Name: Poten (포텐) Raw Link: https://novel.munpia.com/27592 NU Link: https://www.novelupdates.com/series/poten/ Why It Should Get Picked Up: It's a fun slice of life novel (never before thought I would ever describe SoL as fun). I feel it's one of the best novels on NU. There's no cliched reincarnation, regression or transmigration, or delving too deep into the entertainment industry. The MC has an interesting power, but he's no Gary Stu (tho at times, he may appear so) and is well aware (and acts) within his limitations. Actually, https://www.novelupdates.com/series/poten/#comment-120770 better puts into words what I like about this novel. It was being TLed by OppaTranslations (now their site is down, too) but hasn't been updated in over three months. Description: The elders used to scold you if you blithely brought home something preowned by someone else, saying ‘You shouldn’t thoughtlessly bring in things from outside.’ They thought you might experience bizarre things if by chance that item had belonged to someone who had passed away. You might disregard this as superstition in this age where recycling is considered a virtue, but in truth, they were right. How do I know this is true? Because the item I have right now is one of those things.. And it’s not just to the degree of having a strange aura. It has something of a special ability.
+2! I was really sad when OppaTranslation seemed to have stopped translating this novel, as well as the author's other book "Chemistry".
Name: POTEN Raw Link: NU Link: https://www.novelupdates.com/series/poten/ Why It Should Get Picked Up: This novel was previously translated by OppaTranslations but there has been no update for 8 months. There are currently 49 chapters translated. I really liked the novel and it was ones of the few "smart" webnovels out there, which are really few. So hopefully someone is willing to translate it further. Description: Semi-retired pro-gamer Kang Minho discovers that his family has a unique pyschometric ability to gain the abilities of a cherished object's previous owner. His mission: "To live the way he wants, as long as he doesn't commit crimes" And so begins his journey to becoming an all-round celebrity.
It does sounds fun....... Fine, I'll trust your word on this. I liked that one you recd, Not Your Enemy, our preference aren't too far off. So I'll give this a go.
It's fun and light, not so much drama. After reading Top Entertainment (unfortunately on hiatus/discontinued) and God of Music, I'm still craving for more novel about korean entertainment & idol group.
