Casts life. Well, it would have been ridiculous if everyone has managed to win, so that's a good thing. I'll be very interested to see what happens from here on but at the same time it's not like the characters who just got dumped out are going to be going anywhere. She needs her own reasons. The entire series so far has really pushed the fact that to succeed, you need your own strengths, goals, and desires to succeed. The autumn elections was supposed to be Megumi breaking from that. You cannot make it to the elite 10 on someone else's back, that would be destroying one of the most critical messages in the series.

Perhaps this is what it's going to led through? A megumi development arc? It would make sense and finally give her, her time to shine.
I think they can secure 3 sits :Erina ,Souma and the naked apron dude. That won't be e enough tho . Aldini might avenge his brother and Megumi has potential but needs to grow confidence. And i think Rindou (<3) might betray the actual elite ten just for the lulz.
You don't need to talk as though I'm incapable of reading. It is true that she has been maturing as the story has progressed but she still lacks character as an individual. Having a bunch of her friends getting kicked out might actually do her some good because she still feels rudderless without the group to support her. Yeah, not going to happen. She shouldn't be chasing someone's back, she should be focused on developing her own strengths which would indirectly achieve the same goal. I think that @Lazybum0 is right in that she doesn't have enough confidence right now. I never said that she was incapable of making it, I just said that she needs to sort herself out before that. This is probably a good time for it, although I would rather pretty much anything else. Megumi is just so boring. Sign me up. It would certainly make things interesting, which I think is what she's about. I'm hoping that we get to see a lot more of her in the near future.
