so... anyone think that brendal will go back to the mercenaries and just aside the fact that he decimated gaudin? i feel like it would happen
I'm inclined to believe that absolutely nothing happened and this chapter was completely and utterly pointless. Anyone care to contradict me? (And no, I don't count their reactions to him as being meaningful as they could easily have been contained in 1-2 paragraphs of a real chapter).
Yes, nothing happen. Just a bunch of admiring Brendel from the commoner perspective, and trash talking from the foe.
I feel like his Element is definitely either related to either an offset of space, something like distortion or control of anti matter to create an absolute domain or time. More leaning towards time.
Well, at least there's one thing that they agree on I guess this means we won't see anymore major fights with enemies that primarily rely on evasion for survival. They wouldn't have much tension after all. I wonder if he'll get that short spear? And if he'll use it, since he seems to prefer the sword.
He can maybe use it as a sword if he cuts the spear in half. Keeping the blade at the top and adding a handle wherever is suitable. More likely he gives it to one of his followers.
Doing that would likely destroy the enchantment on the weapon. As for his followers, I thought only Scarlett used spears? And she already has one of the best spears around.
Might be, depends on if just the blade or the entire thing is enchanted. Probably doesn't hurt to have Scarlett have two good spears for different purposes. Worst case he can sell or trade it for a decent sword if he doesn't keep it for a future need (unlikely since they have limited pack space).
If I recall correctly, he can actually use a spear, he just favors the sword. So I'd consider him not putting it to any kind of use, and just shoving it into a pack or something, to be the least likely outcome.
omg omg omg omg omg omg, I dreamed of this. I kid you not go look for my previous thread and it was totally bout me dreaming that a bunch of chapters where released for this novel.
Pretty awesome batch of chapters. Brendel may be moaning about how he's way inferior compared to a proper player's stats, but he's definitely rather amazing. And card equipping is a permanent thing, I'm presuming? Doesn't matter if it is, 'cause the laser-sword spiders are awesome. And he can keep summoning more of them so long as he has the mana for it!
Where did the lycans come from? If I'm not mistaken those villagers are like normal people.cdid they look for Druids and find lycans as well?
I wonder how long it'll take him to reach Valhalla, or to find out why the little girl or Graudin mattered so much. I sincerely doubt that it was for the stated reasons.
chapter 166. it should be last chapter for volume 2. at least wolfie finally finish vol 2. vol 3 : 378 chapter, it will be long, long, long journey.
It seems like he's probably the single strongest person in the kingdom now excluding dragons or something like that. Anyway I wish the translator put how the class system and oz works in the glossary.
You are still dreaming. Wake up! No way. The people he is fighting right now are not the strongest. Lets see how strong a military general or head royal knight would be. I will also remind you that sage with level over 100 is in the kingdom.
The undead he forced to run away is a military general. I think he was also considered as being upper rank gold level. Since the kingdom got destroy there probably isn't that many people stronger than him.
First of all, the one who ran away was stronger then Brendel. Brendel could only even him out with multiple of his gold summons and even then it is questionable. The one who ran away was also a strategist more than a fighter. And while he was a general of only 1 of the 3 divisions. He was only the right hand man of Tarkus. Incirsta > Tarkus > Iamas (here)
Brendel is a summoner. I was counting them in his strength. Those two wouldn't be counted as being part of the kingdom's fighters to start with.
